  • Accepting Reality III: How I Liberated Myself From 15 Years of Pain

(This is part of a miniseries) (Background music) ********************** Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is not always easy to recognize. Many people may suffer from symptoms caused by trauma without even realizing it. They may deny that they were traumatized and try other solutions that do not address the underlying problem. Positivity can be harmful when it is used to escape from our mental problems. In this case, optimism can be seen as a form of not handling problems that need to be addressed. This is why it can be dangerous if post-traumatic symptoms become more severe. Unfortunately, problems are not always diagnosed properly, if at all. This is because the person themselves may repress the fact that they were traumatized. Since therapy requires effective cooperation from the patient, a psychological treatment may not be as effective as one might think. For such treatments to be most effective, the patient must accept the darkness of their reality and reveal it to the therapist. Otherwise, both the patient and therapist may be wasting their time and money. The therapist, well, may earn from the patient's denial, the longer they deny it, but I digress. When people tell you that you should not remember certain things, forget them, or not think about them, they may not realize that they are enabling your post-traumatic symptoms. If they are angry at you for digging deep into your troubled past, they may be standing in your way to a better life with less unnecessary pain. In my case, I researched my personal history and correlated between certain events, both private and public. This helped me reach the origin of my traumas. Once I did this, huge layers of pain began to fade away from me after 15 years of haunting me. It was amazing to discover these truths on my own because no one else bothered to do it for me. People fear pain and suffering, so they try to repress it. Some people may even condemn you for thinking about your pain so much, even though it can be useful for your liberation from it. Now, after 15 years of deteriorating pain that made me fatigued and physically handicapped for over a year, I am largely free from my pain and no longer need a cane to walk. I honestly thought I would die and that only one or more surgeries would grant me my freedom. But the freedom I looked for was in my mind all along. I just had to accept reality. The reality that says: Bad things happened to me, and they were the source. The source that ruled me in my subconsciousness. Now that I am far more physically independent and can even do my own groceries, my life's potential has been expanded. It is now that of an average human being, a human being who does not need a cane at the age of 25. My hermitage is no longer my prison. I need less help from others for daily functioning. I still need my CPAP device, but that is all. Just some respiratory checkups and that's it. Many of you do not really understand what it is like to be as disabled as I was. It was depressing as it was humiliating, at least in my eyes. It all starts with accepting the shadowy places of your reality, of your past. It really does. As long as you repress your agonies, they will not necessarily vanish. No, they will remain deep inside of you, like covert agents, and manipulate your life without anyone really knowing or understanding. Therefore, it may sometimes be important to meddle with the darkness in order for some light to come out. Because even a portion of light can enlighten a lot of darkness. Because the truth, no matter how grim or horrifying, can set you free. Learn from my example and do not be afraid. Do not succumb to counter-intuitive positivity, when traumatic symptoms can only severe your situation. Because they made me very fatigued, to the point I needed a cane to walk. To the point that sitting was too difficult. To the point I was very physically weak. Use the truth to liberate your mind. And no matter how painful it may be, you must not give up, in the name of survival. In the name of your functioning in life, and in the name of your promising potential. I suffered enough. It is time to actually enjoy some of this reality. And have some relief for a change. It could have been worse if I hadn't solved this case. Of that, I am painfully aware. It was good that I stopped it when I had the intelligence to do so... Do so myself. Thank you for reading.

  • How Assertiveness Can Protect Empaths (By Mr. Mandoela Svartgold)

That protection is evident by these very 4 reasons, and without them, being assertive against others wouldn't be as effective. By being assertive you can save yourself time and energy, which means that it is a worthy virtue in every practical, personal philosohpy: The importance of Assertiveness: 1. If you are not following your desires and do something that you don't want to do, it is not self-expression. Assertiveness is about expressing yourself, saying no to others, and not canceling yourself by doing something you don't want to do. It is part of self-confidence and shows that you care about yourself. However, assertiveness is also learned behavior. If a child is not allowed to keep their boundaries and their boundaries are crossed, they learn to be silent and agree to things that hurt them. This can be very difficult to fix. 2. Mental health and assertiveness: There are people who live in this world without any positive childhood image of authority figures. They may not have received any encouragement or support from their parents, or their parents may have been critical, teasing, or taunting. This can have a negative impact on their mental and financial well-being. Assertiveness is important for these individuals because it can help them to set boundaries, express their needs, and stand up for themselves. Learning to be assertive can be difficult and tiring, but it is essential for their well-being. 3. Getting rid of toxic people: Toxic people often react immediately to save everyone who needs them, except themselves. They may also engage in arguments where they try to have the last word. This can lead to feelings of emptiness and a desire to avoid the world. The world may seem like a dangerous and unsafe place, whether mentally, physically, economically, or sexually. Everyone has rooms inside their mind's castle, filled with memories. Some people have more difficult, unconscious memories that they need to fill with love. They may not have learned what self-love is or how to set boundaries. They may have spent many decades of their lives giving their time and feelings to others who were not worthy of them. It takes time to understand and reach a state of awareness. It is important to be patient with yourself and to allow yourself to heal. There are many resources available to help you, such as therapy, support groups, and self-help books. 4. Understanding the true behavior of others and absorb their behavior: Some people go to work and healthcare settings and set boundaries with others so they don't get close to them. I see them separated by the masks they wear. People are hypocrites. They often know how to attract an empath. They know how to play their game of life, and that's what I see every day. They love to talk about their successes. I see how they talk and dress and compliment their boss or people of higher social class. 5. It helps empaths identify narcissists behind their masks and separate them from toxic people: Empaths have a desire to belong, so they can be easily drawn to narcissists. Narcissists know who is weak and sensitive, and they will use these people to their advantage. They need to feel superior to others, and they will do whatever it takes to get what they want. 6. Assertiveness can help people who are usually sensitive and need help. They love to help others, but it can be hard for them to set boundaries and say no. The answer is that they must sometimes separate themselves from others and not go after their need to rescue others. Sometimes, this boundary-denying behavior is a way for people to check their limits and just want time for themselves. Sometimes distance will help empaths. They must learn their value as an empath and stand up for themselves. Sometimes, empaths lose their strength because they are drained by the energy vampires, also known as narcissists. These toxic people can sense empaths because they have been hurt in the past and are envious of the empaths' genuine smiles, love, happiness, and peace. They feel the need to compete with them, and in doing so, they take massive amounts of mental energy from the empaths. Empaths are often quiet people who don't have anyone to talk to. They may feel the need to talk about sensitive topics like family, secrets, and difficulties, even to people they don't know well. They may not realize that these people are only asking questions to get information that they can use against them. They may think that if they are good people, everyone will treat them well. Empaths and people-pleasers are often peacemakers and peace-loving people. However, other people may not recognize their value or hard work. As a result, they may be taken advantage of by narcissists and other toxic people. These people may betray their trust and lead them into misfortune and traps. Empaths need to learn to set boundaries and say no to others, even if it is difficult. They need to protect themselves from people who are trying to drain them of their energy. They also need to find people who will appreciate them for who they are and treat them with respect. * See research on assertiveness mental health and empaths: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1877042810022317 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/284813175_Empathic_And_Assertive_Communication_Efficient_Communication_Developments

  • When Are Guilt and Shame Useful and When They Aren't (By Mr. M. Svartgold)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) The disadvantages of guilt are many, and of shame even more. With the emotion of shame, a person comes away from others. He learns to avoid social situations lest he get hurt. The matter of shame is a humiliating thing, as the ashamed is rejected by a group of others. That is regardless or not if the reasoning stems from morality or maliciousness. For example, if a woman posted an intimate photo for her boyfriend to others, the boyfriend may be ashamed even though he didn't really do anything immoral or wrong. Shame is an effective tool for manipulation and extortion, unfortunately. A state of great shame can even lead to suicide. And narcissistic people and toxic people tend to transfer their shame to the victim they have chosen. In every complex family there has been one since childhood. So as not to feel ashamed of themselves. But this does not help in the long run and harms both the victim and the perpetrator. Toxic people Toxic people feel superior after they find at least 1 to 3 people to make them fill their shame and guilt after they notice this person is too polite. Doing a lot of them because they are envious, and need to project their behavior through them. They find 1 to 3 people who are looking weak, and are too genuises for them. This is deep in their psyche, and they never let emotions affect them. They pass this on to their chosen victim. They pursue power, control, and superiority from a person they see as a victim, whether they are their child or someone who is difficult for them to set limits with or who they give to excessively out of kindness or excessive generosity that hurts them too. They want others to see them as a role model, and think that everything is seemingly fine at home, and they are perfect. This usually starts in childhood. Such parents use their parental status as a weapon against one of their children, often in a family with more than two children, to make the scapegoat child bear all the blame and shame for everything that happens. They feel like people who can't make mistakes, so everything goes to one victim in the family. That way they won't get caught. If there are 3 or more children, it is easier to hide. Even in traumas, as only one child was affected. This child is programmed to see reality in a way that he or she is forbidden to express emotions, lest he or she be hit, insulted, or threatened with nonverbal communication. Even with punches, the child learns to be silent and suffer without seeking help. The child is also afraid, especially when it comes to money and the attacker helps the family. The same victim, even if sexually assaulted by his or her uncle or father, may be afraid to speak out because the economic issue pushes the mother to be on the side of the aggressor and broadcast a "perfect" family image. The child's clothing may also be monitored. What one child wears may be denied to another child, who will get clothes, brands, and everything else. The child victim may also be blamed and made to pay money to their parents in order to control them and prevent them from being abandoned. The child may also work and give everything to their parents, even to those who attacked them. (By "child," I mean male or female.) This child does not differentiate between good and evil and does not know that is a crime. Afraid of being on the street or in some boarding school. Usually, the rest of the more distant family members don't know the real situation because it happens behind closed doors at home. Those who are close and know prefer to remain silent or believe the parents of the scapegoating child. They may even deny it to themselves and suppress their feelings for this child. He is not taught about the meaning of emotions. Information is hidden from him. The scapegoating child is humiliated and isolated from his classmates to the extent that he chooses not to go to school or to social events. He feels guilty and ashamed, and he is flooded with emotions that he doesn't understand. They give him the silent treatment to make him feel an invisible rejection. He is filled with guilt and shame, which feels like a poison. Guilt is an emotion that is sent from the person who feels it. So, if you feel guilt, it is from the person who made you feel that way. For example, a person found guilty of sexually assaulting a child or woman. We will see in the news that he hides his face with a garment. Or comes with a kippah or anything religious. To say he understands. who conveyed a message that feels guilty. who feels ashamed of the serious crime he committed. A person who murders his wife, friend, girlfriend, or neighbor and buries the body in a remote area may feel great guilt, which also comes with shame. The guilt may lead him to go to the police and testify about the crime he committed. In cases where he committed the crime with another person or people, one of the criminals may feel remorse and see the harsh sights of the blood in flashbacks. (There are also victims of assaults who see this sight, as well as the attackers.) But the flashbacks kept him awake at night, making him regret his actions. He could go to the police and give the names of the people he committed the crime with, and ask to be a state witness in exchange for the information he would provide. This way, he could relieve his shame by pleading guilty. As it is written, for example, in Rambam 23, Proverbs 28:13: He who conceals his sins will not succeed, but he who confesses and abandons [them] will obtain mercy. Those who participate in hiding crimes, maybe will be successful for many years. 20-30 years. But in the end, people will really understand who he is and not feel sorry for him. It can be concluded from what I explained that: 1. Guilt and shame are negative emotions that can lead to moral action and truth-telling. They are feelings that can motivate a person to become a better person. 2. Feelings of guilt and shame can remind us that we have done something wrong and need to make amends. This can involve admitting the truth, asking for forgiveness, and expressing regret. 3. These feelings can encourage situations that lead to behavior change and learning. 4. Guilt and shame can be a source of correcting injustice. When guilt is healthy, it motivates a person to correct their behavior or be punished for it. Unhealthy guilt, on the other hand, is a feeling of guilt that is not based on any real wrongdoing. 5. Taking on other people's blame can be harmful to ourselves. It can lead to us being seen as a victim or a martyr, and it can prevent us from taking responsibility for our own actions. When we express regret for our own bad behavior, we can take steps to correct the situation and learn from our mistakes. 6. Expressing guilt and shame can lead to relief and remorse. When we confess our wrongdoing, we can start to let go of the guilt and shame that we have been carrying around. If we do not confess, these feelings will continue to eat away at us. 7. A person who expresses remorse for justified guilt and shame can feel relief and not give up on the people they have hurt. They can also start to rebuild their relationships with others. 8. When a person takes steps to repair the damage they have caused, they can start to feel better about themselves and their actions. They can also start to move on with their lives. But on the other hand, it's also feelings that come after usually serious crimes. Such as robbery and threats. R***. Murder. Something about that criminal can cause him severe anxieties and remorse. That he would never want to do it again and admit what he did. It can be learned that these feelings are usually very destructive to a person. But in certain cases, a sense of morality and remorse, along with shame and guilt, can cause those criminals to apologize and confess. I would love to hear what you think about the article I wrote about guilt and shame as a leading emotion for moral and ethical decision-making. I'm adding an article here about guilt and shame as a leading emotion For moral and ethical decision-making.

  • Asceticism 101: How is it Relevant to Our Lives (By Mr. Emmanuel David)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) (Philosocom Asceticism Directory) *************************** Asceticism is a lifestyle characterized by strict self-discipline and self-denial, often pursued for religious, spiritual, or philosophical reasons. People who practice asceticism intentionally abstain from material comforts, pleasures, and indulgences in order to focus on higher spiritual or moral goals. The term "asceticism" comes from the Greek word "askēsis," which means "exercise" or "training." Asceticism is a philosophy or way of life that involves the renunciation of worldly pleasures and comforts in pursuit of spiritual or moral goals. Its relevance in our lives can vary depending on personal beliefs, cultural context, and individual circumstances. Here are some perspectives on the relevancy of asceticism: Spiritual growth and Self-Discipline Spiritual growth and self-discipline are two closely intertwined aspects of asceticism. Practitioners of asceticism often engage in rigorous self-discipline as a means to facilitate their spiritual development. Ascetic practices often involve self-discipline, self-control, and detachment from material desires. For those seeking spiritual growth, asceticism can be a means to develop inner strength, resilience, and a deeper connection with their chosen spiritual path. It can serve as a way to overcome the distractions of materialism and focus on higher truths. However, spiritual growth and self-discipline are not just means to an end in asceticism. They are also seen as essential qualities that are cultivated in order to achieve spiritual enlightenment. By practicing self-discipline, ascetics learn to control their thoughts, emotions, and desires. This allows them to focus their attention on the present moment and cultivate mindfulness, which is essential for spiritual growth. Simplicity and Minimalism Simplicity and minimalism are foundational principles in asceticism, guiding practitioners to lead uncluttered and intentional lives by reducing attachment to material possessions and focusing on what is essential. In a consumer-driven society, asceticism can offer an alternative perspective by encouraging simplicity and minimalism. By reducing material possessions and attachments, individuals can experience greater freedom from the pressures of consumerism, which can lead to a more intentional and meaningful life. Mindfulness and Awareness Mindfulness and awareness are central components of asceticism, playing a significant role in the practices and philosophy of those who embrace this lifestyle. Mindfulness refers to the state of being fully present in the moment, while awareness involves a deeper understanding of one's thoughts, emotions, and surroundings. In asceticism, these qualities are cultivated to enhance spiritual growth and self-realization. Ascetic practices often emphasize being fully present in the moment and cultivating mindfulness. By intentionally simplifying one's life and reducing distractions, individuals can become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and surroundings. This heightened awareness can lead to greater self-understanding and a deeper appreciation for life. In the context of asceticism, mindfulness and awareness are not just techniques but guiding principles that shape every aspect of an ascetic's life. These practices foster a deep connection with the present moment, self-discovery, and an appreciation for the underlying truths of existence, all of which contribute to the ascetic's pursuit of spiritual growth and enlightenment. Detachment from the ego Detachment from the ego is a core principle in asceticism, as it involves freeing oneself from the identification with the individual self and its desires. Ascetics practice detachment from the ego to achieve spiritual growth, self-realization, and a deeper understanding of the nature of existence. The ego is the sense of self that is based on identification with thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It is the part of us that craves for pleasure, avoids pain, and clings to things. Asceticism can help us to detach from the ego by teaching us to let go of our attachments and to see ourselves as part of a larger whole. Challenges and Growth Engaging in ascetic practices, whether temporarily or as a way of life, can present challenges that lead to personal growth and transformation. Facing discomfort, overcoming cravings, and navigating the complexities of a simpler lifestyle can foster resilience and inner strength. In essence, the challenges of asceticism are not obstacles to be avoided, but integral parts of the journey toward self-realization and spiritual enlightenment. Each challenge provides an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and the cultivation of qualities that empower ascetics to navigate life with wisdom, compassion, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world. Balance and Moderation While extreme asceticism might not be suitable for everyone, adopting elements of asceticism can encourage a healthier relationship with material possessions and pleasures. It can promote a balanced approach to life, where individuals enjoy comforts while maintaining a degree of detachment and self-control. Personal Choice The relevance of asceticism ultimately depends on individual values and goals. Some may find fulfillment and purpose in embracing ascetic practices, while others may prioritize different aspects of life. It is essential for each person to evaluate how asceticism aligns with their beliefs and values. In today's fast-paced and materialistic world, the principles of asceticism can offer an alternative perspective that encourages introspection, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with one's inner self. However, the extent to which one incorporates ascetic practices into their life should be a thoughtful and personal decision. Cultural and religious traditions Asceticism holds significance in various cultural and religious traditions around the world. For example, monks, nuns, and spiritual seekers in Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity, and other faiths often embrace ascetic practices as a means to deepen their connection with the divine and achieve higher states of consciousness. Asceticism has played a significant role in various cultural and religious traditions throughout history. Its relevance can be observed in different ways across different traditions. Here are a few examples: Hinduism: Asceticism is deeply embedded in Hinduism. Renunciants, known as sadhus and sannyasis, detach themselves from material possessions and lead austere lives in pursuit of spiritual realization and liberation (moksha). This practice is rooted in the belief that detachment from worldly desires leads to a deeper understanding of the self and the divine. Buddhism: Asceticism played a pivotal role in the life of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism. He initially practiced extreme asceticism before realizing the Middle Way, a balanced path between self-mortification and indulgence. However, ascetic practices such as meditation and monasticism continue to be central to Buddhist teachings, with monks and nuns renouncing worldly attachments to attain enlightenment (nirvana) Christianity: In Christianity, asceticism has taken various forms throughout history. Monasticism, practiced by monks and nuns in secluded communities, involves self-denial and rigorous spiritual discipline. Fasting, prayer, and celibacy are also considered ascetic practices aimed at attaining a closer relationship with God. The Desert Fathers and Mothers of early Christianity are known for their ascetic lifestyles and profound insights. Islam: Islamic asceticism can be seen in practices such as fasting during Ramadan, abstaining from certain foods, and detachment from excessive materialism. Sufism, a mystical dimension of Islam, often emphasizes ascetic practices as a means to purify the soul and draw closer to Allah. Sufi orders may involve vows of poverty and seclusion. Judaism: While not as prominent as in some other traditions, asceticism has appeared in Jewish practices. For example, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, involves fasting and self-reflection. Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah, can also involve ascetic practices to attain spiritual insights. Daoism: Daoism in China emphasizes living in harmony with the natural order (Dao). While not strictly ascetic, some Daoist practices involve simplicity, meditation, and detachment from desires. The ideal is to align oneself with the flow of nature. Sikhism: Asceticism is not as central in Sikhism as in some other traditions, but there is a tradition of renunciation among Sikhs. Nihangs, a Sikh warrior order, often practice asceticism alongside their martial training. Native and indigenous traditions: In various indigenous cultures, ascetic practices might involve vision quests, fasting, and periods of isolation to connect with spirits, seek guidance, or gain wisdom. The relevancy of asceticism varies within these traditions and has evolved over time due to cultural shifts, social contexts, and individual interpretations. While some practitioners continue to embrace asceticism fervently, others have adopted more flexible approaches that balance spiritual pursuits with engagement in the world. Despite this, the core idea of self-discipline, inner transformation, and detachment from materialism remains significant in many cultural and religious contexts. Conclusion In conclusion, the relevance of asceticism is a complex issue that depends on a variety of factors, including individual values, cultural context, and religious beliefs. While some people may find it to be a valuable tool for spiritual growth, others may find it to be too restrictive or impractical. Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to incorporate ascetic practices into one's life is a personal one.

  • Heisenberg VS Rubinshtein -- Who is the Better Mastermind

(On being a mastermind) Walter White, nicknamed "Heisenberg," is an iconic character from the Breaking Bad TV series. A criminal business owner who formerly was a chemistry teacher and a former founder of a pill-producing company. After he realized he had severe cancer, something within him began to change. The unsatisfied chemistry teacher, undermined by everyone, who worked two jobs, slowly became someone else: The very person he wanted to be. His ideal self. That ideal self was Heisenberg. Compared to other people, the pre-Heisenberg Walter White was not as relevant, and this hurt his self-estimation greatly. He did not like being a high school teacher, as well as working at some car wash store. No. He wanted to be more. He wanted to be more powerful, as he was power-hungry, but never seized the potential within him to gain power. Power in the form of money, renown, and recognition in the criminal underworld of the South West U.S.. It was very hard to trust him because he was a pathological liar who manipulated everyone around him. Even his own family failed to trust him, because he was never trustworthy. And when you constantly lie to everyone around you, you greatly decrease their psychological safety with you, as well as their loyalty to you. How can someone be credible when they lie, even to their own employees and business partners? His partner-in-crime, Jesse Pinkman, was nothing more than a pawn to him. And as such he had no problem treating him like garbage, as long as it did not harm his Heisenberg Empire. When you constantly lie, and your lies are detected and recognized, your selfish, morally depraved nature is exposed as well. Thus, Mr. White made sure to distinguish himself from his criminal persona. It is quite difficult to survive as a criminal, so you may need to constantly deceive others to not blow your cover. However, White has proven to be a poor liar. As such, his eventual failure to separate his two personas, due to a very tiny mishap, made him a victim of the DEA. And, his brother-in-law, Hank, was the one who figured it out. Ironically, the merciless Heisenberg still had compassion for his family. He didn't want Hank dead. He still believed in his family, somehow, despite his family not wanting him or his dirty money. Hank died regardless by White's soon-to-be successors, whom he left his empire after he decided to retire. Heisenberg wasn't a genius. He was dumber than we may think. That tiny mishap that exposed White as Heisenberg essentially ruined everything in his plans. If he wasn't careless, in the long run, Hank wouldn't be killed, his successors wouldn't betray him, and he wouldn't have to kill them by his last night of being alive. Have you spotted this fatal flaw? The fatal flaw of having as W. W., over some book. Yes, White had his initials revealed for Hank's eyes unintentionally. Hank took it and simply made the connection, based on the evidence he gathered thus far. It was such a silly mistake. A preventable mistake. By the way, Heisenberg lied about something very severe: He said that he was doing all of this for his family. By the end of the episode, he revealed to his wife, Skyler, that he did it all for himself. That he enjoyed the power. That it was fun. His son refused to receive all the riches his provider-father has collected for him because the son was far more moral than him. Okay? In fact his son hated him so much, that his final words to him were: "Just die." And that, dear readers, is the fatal flaw of being morally depraved. Because morality exists on a spectrum. Making moral choices in life will get you respect and admiration. Disregard morality completely in favor of egoistical hedonism, and you will become like Heisenberg: A depraved criminal who just wanted to have a power trip before he died. Yes, Carpe Diem. "Seize the moment." Heisenberg did just that. He was about to die, so he threw away his morality, because morality is a restraint. Morality limits your actions. White wanted to experience relevance and authority at the cost of everything else that is humane. It got him dead, alone, and hated by everyone who knew him. He was in no way a good person, not even to his own wife and kids. He just wanted to compensate for being undermined so much by the world. That is not how you gain relevance effectively. You gain relevance effectively by building trust, by being at least somewhat ethical, and by leaving a legacy for others. Otherwise, you will just live for yourself and your own fantasies, and you might do so at the expense of others. I am a moral disciplinarian of myself. I know who I am and what I am capable of doing. Deep inside, I know. Know more than any of you. It is one of the prices of being highly intelligent and a public figure. I have no desire to misuse what I am trying to be; What I am becoming. I am not fond of being compared to Heisenberg. His empire was just a megalomaniac fantasy, incarnated in the reality outside of White's head. My empire is far nobler than that. His empire was built on the addictive hedonism of his ingenious meth drug, which was a very pure product and thus a superior one. A product that was made for long-term addiction. My article empire is built on providing value and worth. Value and worth that are more than just money, unlike the megalomaniac tyrant who just wanted to have some fun before his inevitable demise. And he didn't care for successors, either. He murdered them because they stole some of his money. And he didn't care what his own son, Flynn, would do with his money. Because he didn't care for him, nor for his future. I am not Heisenberg, I am Rubinshtein. Walter White is Heisenberg. I killed my former self, Tom, to become Tomasio. I do not hide behind false identities. Tomasio is my offical name, changed and paid by yours truly. Because I, unlike him, care for other human beings and choose to be moral. And I have successors in mind because I refuse to live for myself. In this battle of personalities, mine is the superior one. Superior by the fact that I refuse to be purely egoistic. And I'm trying not to make foolish mistakes. At least I'm trying, honestly. I think logic compels some of you to withdraw from your comparison of our two beings. Correct? And I learn from the mistakes of others, as I deserve. As I deserve for myself, and for you. I am not a drug baron, I am an article baron. I supply you with insight, not toxic garbage. I want to contribute, and not feed on your weaknesses. Fortunately it isn't as addictive to read my articles as it is to be high. I am a bit bitter, so goodbye for now.

  • The Rubinshteinic Guide to Rage -- How To Master the Art of Rage

Rage and/or anger are a combination of three elements: void, drive, and desire. Without any of these elements, one cannot be angry. We are always angry because of something that is missing. It is a form of pain that is used by a drive that makes us express our need for that void to be filled by the thing we desire. Therefore, anger and satisfaction cannot correlate, because the satisfied has no void, as their void has been filled. Being afraid of anger from others shows us that we do not have true love for them. The true lover accepts the person as they are. When the lover fears their anger, they express their distaste for the other person's genuine desire. And you cannot truly accept someone you have some sort of distaste towards, can you? Because when you have any distaste for them, your love becomes hollow and impure. And there is no true love with such impurity. I was taught this by a person whose name you will never know, as I love them enough to not betray their trust so distastefully using my growing public audience. In a world where true love is greatly lacking, much sorrow and pain can easily grow within the human heart. And much illness can develop within the mind. This is because those who dislike the desires that others have, simply because of anger and other uncomfortable emotions, may be deceiving themselves when they claim to have true love for them. And those who threaten over the mere presence of rage, of wanting something so badly that they express it so emotionally, are cowards. If they think that true love is possible when they threaten over their loved one's display of rage, they are unaware of the simple fact that they may only be threatening because they feel threatened themselves. And how can you truly love someone you are threatened by? Why would you threaten them so easily, if you have true, pure love for them? Rage, like true love, is best felt by one type of people exclusively: those who are not afraid of being honest with themselves, and thus, are not afraid to be vulnerable by being honest themselves with those whom they love. The true lover and the true rage-feeler are not afraid of being hurt. Reality is painful. Therefore, because they want reality, AKA, they want to be true with themselves and others, they must also accept pain. The pain of rejection, the pain of disappointment, and the pain of failure and defeat. Should they fear pain, they will escape it like the cowards they are, whether or not they deny it. The lover and the rage-artist are two sides of the same coin. The reason is simple: the coin is composed of void, drive, and desire. Those who love do so because of a void within themselves as well. They are driven by the desire to be with someone, like the rage artist desires to accomplish something. Thus, true love is driven by the being that is desired; rage is driven by the future that has yet to be achieved. True love is about being. The Art of Rage is about doing. And in order to do something, it isn't always possible to just do it. Do you think everyone can simply walk? Have you considered the physically disabled? There is no need to be so naive, and no need to submit to our confirmation bias so easily. Instantly submit to confirmation bias, and you may blind yourself to reality. Instantly submit to rage, and you can do just the same, in addition to undesired consequences, such as punishment and delay in your plans. An empire expands because it is not satisfied with what it currently has. Thus, empires are best driven by calculated, resourceful rage. They observe what they have, and they refuse to be satisfied with it. Asceticism does not necessarily lead to a life of serenity, as I have witnessed myself as an ascetic. No, it can also lead to an immense source of rage and frustration when the ascetic learns the importance of material and emotional deprivation. Lock yourself in your apartment for days or weeks and you may understand what I mean. Deprive yourself of what you can have, and realize how badly you may desire to have it. As a disabled man, I am a prisoner of my own apartment. Deep inside me, within the void that is left from the corpses of failure, disappointment, and misfortune, something has been unlocked. With it, I know that I am capable of far greater feats! Even if not my body, then at least my mind. Because I am more than what I let myself be. I know that fear, discomfort, and other dysfunctional emotions are in my way. In my way of what I can work to achieve even further. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. And only then, can I tolerate the thought of peace in death. All because, peace in life can easily be disturbed. Thus, the concept of peace within life is a liability. Void, drive, and desire are the most fundamental concepts that matter when it comes to ambition. Focusing on what we don't have, desiring to have it, and working to attain it, is how ambitions are met and empires are built. Unlike true love, rage is far more prosperous in our violent world. The human economy is built on temporarily filling voids. Every purchase we make is of something that can always vanish due to the uncertainty of existence. Every void we fill can be reopened. Those who don't purchase anything will not survive, because even hunger will always come back into our lives, telling us that we need to make money to eat. An economy built on true love would not be profitable. Being with someone because you love them means being with them for as long as possible. How can you make a profit when you're killing off your future profits? It is, therefore, in the socio-economic interest of humanity to always be unsatisfied in some way. A population that is driven on an endless quest to fill voids, whether real or imagined, can be converted into a buying audience. If you become addicted to something like coffee, you may realize that you have just created an unwritten, unconscious contract with the coffee providers. Why? Because they just created a void in your heart that can be deliciously filled by coffee indefinitely, albeit only temporarily. Do you understand this harsh rationale? Do you understand that you need others to be unsatisfied in order to survive? Do you understand that you need to be unsatisfied yourself for others to survive? That is how money corrupts so easily the naive self that existed within us as children. Because children usually do not have financial troubles, and are prohibited by most countries to work, as that would be child labour, which is unethical. Thus, when outside of the cycle of work, they are free to do that which many adults may struggle: To truly love. Not romantically, necessarily, but wholeheartedly. Their parents, their pets. Most of them need not be too concerned about the addictive nature of adult reality. That is, until they become disillusioned themselves, by the beautiful shattering of their infantile fantasies. The beautiful agony of realizing the truth about this harsh world: That they are not as loved, and that their relevance depends on many circumstances, some of which they have to prove. Those who will remain whiny, will constantly complain instead of acting. Those who will mature, will strive to work regardless of their immediate desires. They will prioritize their disatisfactions instead, as the worker works have something satisfied. The employer does the same, because they need to supervise the workers to survive themselves. In a world based on unsatisfied self-interest, true love is very difficult to attain. It would only be natural that some will not even believe it exists in real life. That it is only conditional, and never about the being they love. Never about the being themselves, beyond the actions. And every action we make, we make to achieve something. We act because the object of achievement is missing in our lives. And to fuel rage into our actions, while keeping it at bay, can remind us of how important it is, to get things done. To get them done right away if possible. And to make sure as little obstacles stand in one's way to carrying out the tasks at hand. Be afraid of anger and/or rage, and you will be afraid of someone's genuine intention to exist. To live. And every life has its own voids to fill. How can you truly love someone when you do not love their honest desire to live? I combined philosophy with rage. Since wisdom can always be attained, I became at peace with rage. Because rage is my slave. Because rage deserves to be conditional, like in logic, as it deserves to be restrained like an attack dog. Released only when vital to one's cause. Like a pawn! Unlike true love, that can help much of this ill world. And that is why they will never be the same. Hail Philosocom.

  • How to Apply the Bushido Code to the 21st Century (By Mr. John Igwe)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) The Bushido Code, also known as the "Way of the Warrior," is a set of ethical principles that guided the conduct and behavior of samurai warriors in Feudal Japan. While it is important to note that the Bushido Code is a historical and cultural framework, and not a universally applicable philosophy, its principles can still offer insights into honorable and disciplined behavior. How to apply the Bushido Code to the 21st century Applying the Bushido Code to the 21st century involves adapting its values and concepts to modern contexts. The Bushido Code emphasizes traits like honor, integrity, loyalty, and courage. Here are some ways you can apply these principles in today's world: Rectitude (Gi): Rectitude is a principle that emphasizes honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in all aspects of life. It is about doing what is right, even when it is difficult. In the 21st century, rectitude can be applied to our personal, professional, and social lives in many ways. Here are some specific examples of how to apply rectitude in the 21st century: In communication: Always speak truthfully and transparently. Avoid exaggeration or deception in your conversations, whether they're in-person, online, or in the workplace. Building a reputation for honesty fosters trust and credibility. In decision-making: When faced with difficult choices, prioritize ethical considerations. Make decisions that align with your values and that you can stand behind without compromising your integrity. In your online presence: Be mindful of your digital footprint. This means being careful about what you post online, as it can have a lasting impact on your reputation. In your consumer choices: Be aware of the environmental impact of your purchases. This means buying products that are sustainably made and that have a low carbon footprint. In your relationships: Treat others with respect, regardless of their background, beliefs, or positions. Embrace diverse perspectives and engage in constructive dialogue that values everyone's input. Applying rectitude in the modern world requires a conscious effort to align your behavior with your values, even when facing pressures or temptations to do otherwise. By consistently choosing honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct, you contribute to a more trustworthy and morally sound society. Courage (Yu) Courage is the willingness to face fear, uncertainty, and adversity. It is about doing what is right, even when it is difficult. In the 21st century, courage can be applied to our personal, professional, and social lives in many ways. Have the courage to adapt to new technologies, ideas, and ways of thinking, even if they seem unfamiliar or challenging. Face your fears: Identify your personal fears and insecurities, and work to overcome them. Whether it's public speaking, trying something new, or confronting difficult emotions, facing your fears fosters personal growth. Speak out against injustice: Have the courage to voice your concerns about injustice, discrimination, and inequality. Use your voice to advocate for those who may not have the same platform. Pursue ambitious goals: Dare to set ambitious goals for yourself, even if they seem daunting. Whether in your career, personal life, or hobbies, pushing your boundaries can lead to significant achievements. Be entrepreneurial and innovative: If you have a groundbreaking idea or a passion project, muster the courage to pursue it. Entrepreneurship and innovation often require taking calculated risks to bring new concepts to life. Resist peer pressure: Whether in social settings, the workplace, or online, stand up for your beliefs even if they differ from the prevailing opinion. Courageously express your viewpoint while respecting diverse perspectives. Advocate for mental health: If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health challenges, have the courage to seek help, offer support, or raise awareness about mental health issues to reduce stigma. Be an environmental activist: Addressing environmental concerns requires courage, as it often involves challenging established practices and advocating for sustainable solutions that benefit the planet. Champion diversity and inclusion: Stand up for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of life. Advocate for equal opportunities, challenge stereotypes, and foster environments where everyone feels valued. Accept rejection: Rejection is a natural part of life, whether in job applications, relationships, or creative endeavors. Have the courage to face rejection and use it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Fight for human rights: Whether it's fighting against human trafficking, advocating for refugees, or working to end systemic oppression, stand up for the rights and dignity of all individuals. Courage is not always easy, but it is essential for living a full and meaningful life. By demonstrating courage, we can make a positive difference in the world and inspire others to do the same. Benevolence (Jin): Benevolence is the quality of being kind, compassionate, and helpful towards others. Be a gentleman. Volunteer your time: There are many organizations in need of volunteers, such as soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and animal shelters. Help others in need: If you see someone who is struggling, offer to help them. This could be something as simple as helping them carry their groceries or giving them a ride to the doctor. Embrace empathy: Put yourself in the shoes of others and try to understand their point of view. This will help you to be more compassionate and understanding. Stand up for others who are being disrespected. By practicing respect, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious society. We can also make the world a better place for everyone. Here are some additional thoughts on how to apply respect in the modern world: Be mindful of your words and actions. Respect is not just about what you say, but also about how you say it. Be careful not to use language that is offensive or disrespectful to others. Be understanding and compassionate. Everyone makes mistakes, and we should all be willing to forgive each other. Be understanding of others' perspectives, even if you don't agree with them. Be tolerant of differences. The world is a diverse place, and we should all be tolerant of different cultures, religions, and beliefs. Respect the right of others to be different from you. It also means being honest with yourself about your own strengths and weaknesses. Be transparent in your dealings with others. This means being open and honest about your intentions and motivations. It also means being willing to share information that is relevant to the situation. Act with integrity. This means doing the right thing, even when it is difficult. It also means being consistent in your values and principles. By practicing honesty, we can build trust and rapport with others. We can also create a more transparent and reliable society. Here are some additional thoughts on how to apply honesty in the modern world: Be mindful of your words and actions. Honesty is not just about what you say, but also about how you say it. Be careful not to use language that is misleading or deceptive. Be accountable for your actions. If you make a mistake, be honest about it and take steps to correct it. This shows that you are trustworthy and reliable. Be willing to admit when you are wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, and it is important to be able to admit when you are wrong. This shows that you are honest and humble. Honor (Meiyo) Honor is the quality of being worthy of respect and esteem. In the 21st century, honor can be expressed through our words, actions, and interactions with others. It is about being aware of your thoughts and feelings, and choosing how to respond to them in a way that is appropriate and constructive. In the 21st century, self-control is more important than ever, as we are constantly bombarded with stimuli that can trigger our emotions. Here are some specific examples of how to practice self-control in the 21st century: Practice patience. Don't react impulsively to situations. Take a moment to calm down and think before you act. Be understanding. Try to see things from other people's perspectives, even if you don't agree with them. Maintain emotional balance. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. Learn to stay calm and collected, even in difficult situations. Set boundaries. Don't be afraid to say no to things that you don't want to do. Learn to protect your time and energy. Take care of yourself. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and exercising regularly. These things will help you to manage your stress and stay centered. Seek professional help if needed. If you are struggling with self-control, don't be afraid to seek professional help. A therapist can teach you coping mechanisms and strategies for managing your emotions. By practicing self-control, we can make better decisions, build stronger relationships, and live happier and healthier lives. Duty (Ko) Duty is the obligation to fulfill one's responsibilities to others. It is about being willing to put the needs of others before your own, and to do what is right, even when it is difficult. In the 21st century, duty is more important than ever, as we are faced with many challenges that require us to work together to solve. Here are some specific examples of how to practice duty in the 21st century: Fulfill your obligations to your family. Be there for your loved ones, both emotionally and physically. Help them when they need it, and be supportive of their goals. Contribute to your community. Volunteer your time to help others in need. Get involved in local organizations and make a difference in your community. Be a good citizen. Follow the law, pay your taxes, and vote in elections. Be an active participant in your democracy. Work hard and be productive. Use your skills and talents to contribute to society. By practicing duty, we can build a better world for ourselves and for future generations. In conclusion, the Bushido Code is a historical cultural framework, and some of its elements may not directly translate to the complexities of the modern world. The key is to understand the underlying values and adapt them in ways that align with your personal and societal context, promoting positive and ethical behavior.

  • Accepting Reality II: The Rubinshteinic Philosophy On Trauma

This is part of a series that I decided to build for you. Browse the first part as a summary to what I'm going to write here. I finally realized the source of my pain, a chronic, physical pain that has lasted for 10-20 years. I finally understand that it comes from trauma. From the connection between mind and body. From the fact that we can experience psycho-somatic sensations and emotions, and thus, the philosophy of dualism is not entirely correct. For we are, in a sense, body and mind. Because even if we may have automatic systems within us, even if we have an automatic portion of the self, we still exist as one, somehow. As a singular entity, made up of components that cooperate with each other in unison. And should a component be damaged, it can harm the other components, forming the entity that is the human being. Should one of the wheels of your car be lacking air, it can harm the overall performance of your vehicle. Thus, should you solve the problem in that specific wheel, the car can be driven better towards its destination. Yes, my mind is heavily traumatized. And I've been experiencing the implications of these traumas for most of my life, ever since childhood. I've always been serious, and treated every task very seriously. Never really undermining anything. The traumas, ultimately, made me the professional that I am. The one with the soldier's mentality, who cares to carry out all his tasks, whether giving or given. Somehow, I managed to not only drive this metaphorical vehicle without fixing it for good, but also use its faults for my own advantage. By utilizing the flaws inflicted by trauma, in order to improve myself in my roles throughout life. Because anxiety and stress, while harmful, do have their own merits. And pain can be a great teacher as well. By denying myself the practicality of curing this pain, the ascetic life had become far, far easier. Why? Because I suffer anyways. What's a little more suffering going to do? And when you are stressed, you may find yourself having an easier time focusing. And also, to have a good enough amount of concern to get things done. And when you are anxious, should you be able to restrain yourself, you can use it to live more safely, thus contributing to your own survival. After all, these sensations and emotions are natural. They are there to keep us safe. Their point is for you to avoid experiencing the same traumas again. It is but the way of the mind to adjust to the future, based on past experiences. That is, of course, assuming that your mind is still functioning properly, after whatever you have witnessed throughout life. In other words, face a "sufficient" amount of trauma, and you may unconsciously use it to become stronger mentally. Because enduring around 10 to 20 years of chronic pain in your every waking moment is no easy task. My neck has been in pain since the near-end of the 2000s. It has been stiff as wood by default, ever since. The pain is tiring, don't get me wrong. And I don't like it. But I for some reason still keep it unchecked. The reason is simple: I maintain my pain tolerance in the name of work. I work so much because I am used to the agony. And since I view this work as my life's purpose, I have little problem essentially locking myself in my hermitage and working. There are days where I don't even sleep. It may sound bizarre to turn the same liability into an asset. But when you get used to discomfort, life becomes more bearable than otherwise. Because if you are riding a damaged car in a very long and desolate road, you have no choice but to tolerate the liability until you reach your destination, somewhere in the horizon. The liability of pain thus becomes an asset when you use it for self-improvement. That is done by understanding that some things deserve to be granted. They deserve to, because there might be other things at play that are more deserving of your attention. Put the pain and the suffering in the background, and should you develop a strong-enough tolerance for it, you may be able to tolerate whatever requires your attention, as well. And the pain slowly but surely silences the inner screams inside me, wishing to be liberated from it. Why do I let it cancel my inner experience, hoping for salvation? Simple, but not quick to be understood: I use pain to fuel me, and give me energy. Because peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory! AND THROUGH VICTORY, MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN, AND RELEVANCE SHALL FREE ME. Free me from being under the ceilings of irrelevancy! Of obscurity! And it is only through a life of militant work on my goals that I will actually be someone in this careless, apathetic world! Yes! My initiative will be proven useful the more I work on it! And for that, I need to feel pain, so I will have the energy, the passion to succeed, and be purposefully frustrated by my current situation! By the fact that I was called irrelevant so swiftly and carelessly! You will all benefit from my success! Benefit from new and newer articles! Benefit from other writers! Empires are built on ambition! And ambition is always the lack of peace from the current situation one is in! Be aware of the sources of your pain, and the truth can set you free. Hail Philosocom. Note: There will be a third part, making this a trilogy.

  • How Isolation Can Be Regarded -- Silent Hill 4 (By Mr. Ephraim Peter)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) (Background music) ************************** Introduction "Silent Hill 4: The Room" is a survival horror video game developed by Konami. It is the fourth installment in the "Silent Hill" series, which is known for its psychological horror elements and unsettling atmosphere. The game follows the story of Henry Townshend, who finds himself trapped in his apartment in South Ashfield Heights. As the game progresses, Henry discovers that his apartment has become a portal to different worlds, each with its own horrifying and nightmarish elements. He must navigate through these worlds, and survive, while uncovering the mystery behind his situation and the reasoning for his sudden imprisonment in his own apartment. Henry's apartment serves as a hub for accessing different levels through a mysterious hole that appear in the room's walls. Whenever he returns from a hole in a nightmare world, he somehow wakes up in his bed, as if we was dreaming. And then he has to repeat the absurd cycle again and again, until he reaches the mysterious villain behind it all. Despite the mixed reception it recieved, "Silent Hill 4: The Room" has maintained a dedicated fan base and is remembered to this day. It's worth noting that the "Silent Hill" series as a whole is renowned for its psychological horror, intricate storytelling, and exploration of deep and disturbing themes. The series has had a significant impact on the survival horror genre and has garnered a strong following over the years. The Extensive Isolation of the Protagonist: The isolation of the game's protagonist, Henry Townshend, is a central theme that contributes to the game's psychological horror and unsettling atmosphere. The game takes this concept to a new level compared to previous entries in the series. Here's how the extensive isolation of the protagonist is depicted in the game: Certainly, the isolation in in this game is a prominent gameplay feature. Henry Townsend spends a significant portion of the game trapped in his apartment, with the apartment door somehow locked from the inside. He may scream for help, but somehow the external world fails to hear his distress. This isolation intensifies the psychological horror elements, as players are left to explore unsettling environments and harmful worlds, that are somehow interconnected. Without a sense of fortitude and a will to earn back his freedom, Henry would not had make it thus far. Because even if the player wins the game, an unfortunate set of conditions would mark his death in at least one of the endings. In isolation, one must focus on their own merit. After all, it is what he or she needs to do in order to survive. In groups, the ability to collaborate optimally can ease one's chances of survival. Even later on, when Henry meets a neighbor throughout his arcane journey, the burden of protecting her lies on him alone, as the neighbor is always injured, and too weak to fight by herself. Indeed, isolation also exists in our responsibilities; when there is no one to help others, but us. And whenever he returns to his apartment, said neighbor cannot go with him, for an unclear reason. Which means that he does not even have the privilage of hosting others at his own home. The Apartment as a Prison: The game begins with Henry finding himself trapped within his own apartment. Homes are usually symbols of sancuaries and a place to rest our heads after work. However, for henry, the apartment is a theme of isolation. A sanctuary and prison at the same time, as he cannot leave it and is forced to face the horrors that emerge from within its walls. Later on in the game, the apartment actually becomes hostile, actively trying to kill him through arcane phenomena. Eventually, even this place of rest, that heals him for most of the game, is taken away from him. Thus, like a nomad, he is never truly safe. Thus, he is even more alone. Overall, his apartment encapsulates the theme of imprisonment on multiple levels—physical, emotional, and symbolic. It serves as a constant reminder of the protagonist's isolation and inner struggles while functioning as a gameplay mechanic that ties together the different nightmarish experiences he undergoes against his will to be released; Against his desire to be able to get out into the physical realm, and reach to others like he used to before all of this began. Limited Interactions In the Apartment: Within the apartment, the player can perform limited interactions. Henry can only observe certain objects and occasionally interact with items necessary for gameplay progression. This limited interaction reinforces the sense of isolation, as the player is restricted in their ability to engage with the environment. In addition, some of the interactions do not make sense. For example, he can recieve calls from his wired telephone, but he cannot entirely make calls himself. As such, he cannot call the police. It is strange because the wire has somehow been cut. This further adds to Henry's isolation, because the company of logic has forsaken him. Nothing really makes sense in the ordinary sense of the word. That is how we can know that Henry is not only alone in his apartment, but alone in a different reality. An otherworld, of sorts, traveled to using the very place Henry lives in. Overall, the limited interactions serve to immerse players in the protagonist's experience of being isolated and vulnerable within the game world. This design choice enhances the psychological horror elements of the game by creating an environment where players must rely on their observation, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking to navigate the challenges they encounter. Finally, the game can only be saved within the apartment. This bonds the player even more to the apartment, even though he or she can't really do much in it. In a sense, the save point is the only, true refuge of the player, and of Henry's survival. Mysterious Voices: Throughout the game, Henry hears voices and sounds from neighboring apartments. These voices serve to remind him of the presence of others nearby, yet he remains isolated from them. The inability to directly interact with these characters adds to the feeling of being cut off from the outside world. Ironically, it is pretty much the same in apartment complexes in real life, where you might as well never truly interact or get to know your neighbors. And yet, perhaps some of you can hear them when they talk. You are only neighbors by vicinity, unless you have any other reason to communicate. The social sense of community is long gone in many residential areas throughout the real world, as well as in the game. Eerie Atmosphere: The apartment itself is designed to be unsettling. It's dimly lit, cluttered, and filled with strange occurrences. As the player navigates the apartment, they may encounter inexplicable phenomena that contribute to the sense of isolation and unease. Eeriness can also be used as a component in isolation, as it distances you from warm feelings and from feeling like you are belonged. Even if certain phenomena is harmless to you, for example, it can still "harm" you mentally, simply by being eerie, and by being around you. The mysterious voices mentioned are examples of that, as they can't truly harm you. But by being unable to get rid of them, they are an uncomfortable presence that keeps you away from inner peace. Nightmarish Worlds: When Henry enters the nightmarish worlds through the portals in his apartment, he encounters terrifying and surreal landscapes populated by monsters and disturbing imagery. These worlds intensify his isolation, as he is separated from the familiarity of his apartment and thrown into hostile environments. These worlds are not like planets in outer space, but supernatural realms connected by tunnels and stairs. It is not known where they are physically, if they are even physical. It appears as if they exist in a vaccum, as it is impossible to use them to get out of this metaphysical, insane absurdity. Most of the beings there are monsters who attempt to kill Henry in his journey. Some of the entities merely exist harmlessly, yet remain disturbing. Some of these monsters' reason to exist is forever unconfirmed for certain, and thus may always have their reasoning left for speculation. Logic, even if imperfect, gives us a sense of grounding in reality. Without it, we won't be able to understand reality properly. Even ourselves. And in the absence of understanding, we remain unconfident. Thus, the element of confident has also left the player's (and Henry's) company. Personal Journeys: The nightmarish worlds that Henry navigates are often deeply personal and reflect his own psychological struggles. These experiences further isolate him as he confronts his inner demons and traumas. The game explores the concept of personal journeys through its various worlds, each of which is connected to the psychological struggles and traumas of the protagonist and the mysterious figure who trapped him. These worlds reflect Henry's inner demons and force him to confront his past and the emotions he has been suppressing. The game utilizes the concept of personal journeys to delve into the psychological and emotional depths of its characters, particularly Henry. By navigating these nightmarish realms and exploring the stories of those connected to him, players gain a deeper understanding of the protagonist's motivations, his inner struggles, and his path towards self-discovery and healing. And only by confronting one's inner demons, one can be mentally free from their control over a man or woman. When the unconcious becomes concious, a sense of clarity and control can be attained over one's life and one's mentality. Summary "Silent Hill 4: The Room" uses the theme of isolation to create a sense of psychological horror and unease. The game's unique approach to storytelling and gameplay immerses players in the protagonist's experience of being cut off from the world and trapped in his own apartment, as well as in the nightmarish worlds that reflect his inner struggles. This theme adds to the overall sense of dread and psychological tension that the game is known for. Finally, the game can symbolize the benefit of one to undergo through a test of seclusion. It is definately not easy, and can be very torturing. However, like when Henry can earn his freedom, the hermit can gain his liberty from the mental obstacles that might be in his or her path. By developing fortitude, discipline and courage. Because being physically alone is no easy task for most human beings.

  • The Never-Ending Solitude -- A Story by Mr. Brad Michaels

(Mr. Rubinshtein's note: The text is heavy with obscure terminology used to describe simple concepts. That is to symbolize how solitary is this immortal outsider to this world, compared to the rest of the creatures that come and go) (Philosocom's Immortality Subcategory) (Inspired theme) ******************************** I am an essence that has existed here for a long time. I walk this world without any guides. I do not remember being born, only that I have existed for many, many natural cycles. I see the natural cycles come and go. Sometimes I become friends with the creatures here, for a time. They eventually leave me. It is a very strange thing. After enough natural cycles have passed, they go to sleep and never wake up. The glowing ball is high in the air today. My friend, a creature low to the ground which uses double the appendages to walk that I do, is trotting ahead of me. She needs to make something go to sleep and consume it. It has been many cycles since she last did it. I have no need of doing this, but I have observed that if my friends don’t consume other creatures at certain times, they return to the ground much earlier than usual. I see her running ahead of me, with the appendage on her back oscillating quickly. This is a sign that she has detected something to consume. I am happy for her. I feel empty when my friends leave me, especially when they must do it early. She is traveling faster now, and I see another creature ahead of her. It is a type of creature that has a long protrusion out of the front of it. It has billowy appendages on either side. Sometimes, creatures similar to this one use these appendages to enter the air. However, this particular type cannot use them to do this. I do not know why this is the case, but my friend quickly advanced on the creature, and soon she was consuming it. I created a floating light on the ground as the ball in the sky began to sink. I found out I could make a floating light on the ground very similar in appearance to the ball in the sky, if I rubbed two pieces of debris together until they became bright. I discovered this a long time ago, and I don’t remember how I came up with the idea. The reason I started doing it was because my friend seemed to enjoy the floating light. Another natural cycle has been completed as the ball in the sky disappears, and the pale ball comes out. It has been many natural cycles since anything was comprehensible and I became really awake. I don’t need to sleep like the other creatures, but I will look out for my friend while she does. My friend is awake. I go to greet her by stroking the soft textured material that covers her body. I have this material on the top of me, but little everywhere else. She is in a good mood today, but already in need of consuming another creature. We get up and go into the densely packed array of fibrous stalks. These stalks are long and sinewy, emerging up out of the soil. They give a home to many creatures. Home is something I have not really had a concept for, but I recently decided to imitate the other creatures by building one for myself and my friend. We took debris from the ground and made it up into large piles. She helped me by retrieving debris and adding it to the piles I made. It gave me a purpose, and it made me fulfilled to see my friend happy. By the time the ball in the sky had gone away, we were finished with our home. We snuggle in together, in the home we have built. I don’t feel the usual emptiness tonight. Something is different and has changed. I feel a warmth I have not known in my long existence. I think I could see myself being happy in this place for a long time with my friend.

  • How We Can Discover Ourselves Using Psychotechnics (By Mr.

To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) Psychotechnics is a field of psychology that studies the application of psychological techniques and methods to achieve positive outcomes in different areas of life. Examples of psychotechnics include cognitive training exercises to improve memory or problem-solving skills, relaxation techniques to manage stress and anxiety, behavior modification strategies to change unwanted habits, and various forms of therapy to address psychological issues. Discovering yourself using psychotechnics involves using psychological techniques and tools to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Here are some specific techniques you can use: Self-reflection: Self-reflection is the process of looking inward to examine and gain insights into your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, behaviors, and experiences. It involves taking the time to contemplate and analyze various aspects of yourself in order to better understand who you are and how you relate to the world around you. Self-reflection can be a valuable tool for personal growth, self-awareness, and making informed decisions. Spend time thinking about your values, interests, strengths, weaknesses, and past experiences. Consider what makes you happy, what motivates you, and what you aspire to achieve. Journaling: Journaling is the practice of writing down your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and observations in a personal journal or diary. It's a powerful tool for self-expression, self-discovery, and self-reflection. By putting your thoughts onto paper, you can gain insights into your emotions, track your progress, and record meaningful moments in your life. Maintain a journal to record your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Regularly review your entries to identify patterns and insights about yourself. Personality assessments: Personality assessments are tools designed to help individuals gain insights into their own personality traits, preferences, and tendencies. These assessments are based on psychological theories and research and can provide a better understanding of how you typically think, feel, and behave in various situations. Take personality tests such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) or the Big Five personality traits test. These assessments can provide insights into your personality traits and tendencies. Strengths and weaknesses analysis: Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Leverage your strengths to excel and work on your weaknesses for personal growth. Mindfulness and meditation: Practice mindfulness and meditation to enhance self-awareness and manage stress. These techniques can help you understand your thought patterns and emotional responses. Set goals: Define short-term and long-term goals that align with your values and aspirations. This can give you a sense of purpose and direction. Feedback: Seek feedback from friends, family, and colleagues about your strengths and areas for improvement. Their perspectives can provide valuable insights. Explore new activities: Try new hobbies, activities, or experiences to discover hidden interests and passions. Therapy or counseling: Consider seeking professional help from therapists or counselors who can guide you through self-exploration and provide insights into your thoughts and behaviors. Group workshops or retreats: Attend workshops, retreats, or group sessions focused on personal development and self-discovery. In conclusion, self-discovery is an ongoing journey. Be patient with yourself and embrace the process of learning more about who you are and what you want from life. It is little by little. Self-discovery is a continuous journey that requires patience and self-compassion. Embracing the process of learning about yourself, bit by bit, can lead to valuable insights and personal growth. Remember, each step you take contributes to a deeper understanding of who you are and what you desire in life.

  • How To Detect and Handle Betrayals In Relationships -- By Mr. Mandoela Svartgold

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) (Background music) (Mr. Rubinshtein's Note: This article can be seen as an example that can be applied in philosophy as well. Should we be mindful of our surroundings, we will be able to understand reality better, and live less in denial about it, if at all. Even the smallest of details around us can be served as evidence to something bigger. And the more aware we are, the less surpised we get. The less surprised we get, the more prepared we can be with reality and its potential outcomes. Mind your surroundings like a ninja does, and you will be able to navigate life better and with less naivety Because remember that your current love interest might, one day, be your enemy. Even if by their own accord. And being able to be mindful enough can help you plan ahead better, like a mastermind would). (Final note: I ordered this article by the request of an anonymous reader. Hopefully I helped them and gave them more hope to live and enjoy this world). ********************************** (Defining serious relationships) Introduction The attitude to betrayal differs from person to person. Some see it as something related only to relationships between a man and a woman. Some see it as something related to a betrayal of trust. With severe lies. Others between man and his friend. Some consider it a crime punishable by stoning. Some see it as a goal that's done when there's no other choice, or when that one of the parties is abusive. Everyone sees cheating as something different. Some do not care at all, even, about whether or not they are betraying someone's trust in their loyalty, when there are other interests at play (like money) But betrayal of trust is a big thing that leaves many doubts regarding others. Cheating when it is in a marital relationship such as marriage (but not exclusively) can cause the dissolution of the serious relationship. That is because propagation is sexual. And sexuality is also a collection of emotions. Of course, we are excluding asexual relationships, in this case. Even though asexuals can betray as well. Especially since this brings pleasure. Being pregnant is unwanted. And beyond that... that partner will say to himself: "What do I lack that makes them likely to be disloyal to me?" Especially if the partners are active, they can grow suspicious with each other, and begin to grow distant. How to Detect Betrayals When a man or woman cheats, they are hiding a secret. They may behave differently as well. Generally, if they have been married are in the serious relationship for years, they may invest less in physical appearance. So in this case when they have a partner (even a lover is a partner), and on the way they will put perfume, to try to have a more attractive scent, and begin pampering themselves more. They will suddenly act with extreme joy or suspicion. Or will there also be outbursts in which they will blurt out and ask "Why do you think I cheated on you?" "You think I went with ... your friend...?" For example. Usually, a man who is having an affair will also hide the fact that he cheated by changing his underwear before he gets home. He will fix his hair. He will apply gel. He will dress in different clothes, in order to lower the suspicion of his partner. He will even speak in a different tone. Go to a beautician. When there is a lover, usually the one who cheated will take the phone and put on secret code. So that his wife does not breach and find data that will incriminate him. (Note: Everything I wrote and write here applies to the opposite gender as well). The need for sexual relations within the family will decrease. And if, for example, the woman was used to be with her husband once a week, when she has a lover she will reject her husband with the excuse of headaches. A lot of work problems and problems with their children will occur (if they have children). Problems with her parents. And maybe they will only spend time intimately once a month. Also, this connection is confidential. When cheating, the need to be seen on the street hugging is impossible when the chance of running into the husband or wife is high. Usually they will prefer trips abroad. Or a house or a hotel. Or a place far from their home. So as not to jeopardize their marriage. When it comes to the institution of marriage, it is a religiously sacred institution and a married couple sanctifies themselves in the married status and God or Allah or Jesus or whatever it is for their religion sees the couple and passes energetic cables between them and connects them (according to spiritual doctrines, at least). So that their soul will be connected. There are those who claim that when a woman marries she is sanctified and becomes more holy. There are also those who are in favor of open relationships. They see relations as something emotional and not that important. And even next to their children they date others with permission. I myself do not believe in such a relationship because I do think that relations iare a non-verbal communication that strongly connects a couple as distinctive beings, but I digress. It allows me to be who I am. It causes the connection of my soul to be aligned with its purpose, by conveying feelings of pleasure, joy, pleasure, passion, the possibility of being without clothes and masks. but I digress. In my opinion, yes, it is a very bonding thing that is better to do when you really love each other. True love. And there is a real match. Also, there are cases when a man or a woman cannot marry for reasons such as: the family is one or both of them are from a crime family. In some cases these reasons apply to starting a serious relationship, as well. And the parents don't get along. Or they are members of different religions. And in such cases there is a possibility in these situations to either break up or live together. No wedding and I don't think it's bad. I think being known as a couple is also something singificant that could be seen as a threat to others. But some will say that having a child out of wedlock is a sin to an unloving God. I say in these situations a child is a gift. In my opinion, having a child is not accidental. And it's just something their parents and/or family have decided. And when a couple has a biological state between them where they are at the peak of fertility, they are attracted to people of the opposite sex by something in their unconscious that makes them want to be with that person. A child can be created from sexual relations even with contraceptives. And outside of marriage, too. In any case, does such a child deserve to suffer that one of the parties abandons him? Anyone to do what they want. But I dare to speak my mind: A child is usually the fruit of love. (Here I'm talking about love... marriage... partnership even without marriage). Not every couple has children even if they marry at a young age and why? Because from an evolutionary point of view they are not suitable together for having a child and there is something blocking them. They should pay attention. Especially if they are young and old enough to have children. A couple who wants to have children but fails at it, could also lead to betrayal/cheating. Theoratically, that is the reason of Silent Hill 2's entire plot. Families and society cause more difficulties to break up the relationship. Another dimension is the economic aspect. When there is a divorce, one of the parties usually loses financially. One of the parties will have to pay for the child until the age of 18. This burden exists when there is a marriage. And in a marriage agreement, money must also be given to the children. When one of the parties cheats he may find himself impoverished on the street. Whether it is the man or the woman. Especially if you are getting divorced. In addition, it sometimes causes anger on the part of the parties towards the child. Especially if you don't get a divorce when a neighbor has to get a divorce and therefore the child may feel guilty. Children are known to take the blame from their parents if they divorce. How to Remedy Betrayals As the Betrayed But sometimes there is no escaping it. And this is an important step. In order to return a cheating spouse, it is necessary to understand the consequences of his actions. In addition, he must apologize and change his behavior. For that, you need to convince him to do just that: To apologize for the great grief he caused you, and hopefully make the promise to you, that he will be loyal once more, and never betray you as long as you are together in a serious relationshp. Study rhetoric, which is the art of persuasion, and you can increase your chances of making him or her return. When there is no agreement that it is something that hurt the other party, the relationship cannot be revived. If the partner is in love with the mistress, he must take responsibility and understand that love is no small thing. And feelings are an important thing. And that the hearts of others are not toys to be played with. Both to understand the reality and to take responsibility if it is discovered. To admit fault is part of growing up and acting emotionally mature. Of course, if the cheater/traitor made children outside of the relationship, they are to be considered as well, when attempting to convince him or her to return. You must be logical and stay vigilant. And think of a plan that will recognize the faults of others, and the products of their actions. Because in the case of children, at least, even if they are not yours, they are not going to get away, and none of us exist in a vaccuum. And in such cases, you need to remember that your shots are limited, if not only one. Blow this up by being too biased to yourself, and lack the necessary empathy to understand your cheater's situation, and they might never return to you. Even immoral actions, after all, give birth to new, moral responsibilities that may be beyond your control. Consider such cases as negotiations. And in negotiations you need to keep your head cool, as to not keep away the very one you love. Be delicate and be considering, or the cheater might deem you too hostile to return to. It isn't easy to return a partner, but by being rational, stoic and empathetic, you can at least ease the difficulty of your attempt/s. Forgive them for what they've done. Make them know that they have a place to return to, with love, care and compassion.

  • How Infantility is Normalized, and How to Attain More Respect

(Background music) With the rise of the internet, popular culture, and rugged individualism, I believe that our world is becoming increasingly infantile. By "infantile," I mean the refusal to act maturely in the name of things and beings that have nothing to do with our hearts and emotions. When people act mostly or purely from their hearts and not their rationale, they can easily make regrettable mistakes that could harm their progress in life. The heart does not think for the long term. It encourages us to act on momentary impressions of reality. It does not think for the long term because it is too complex for a mere emotion to be this calculated. Therefore, the heart can easily make us whine and initiate "pity parties" with others. That is because the unrestrained heart can be naive like a bull. It sees reality from day to day, and not for month to month or even for year to year. It may encourage us to use ignorance as an excuse for our actions, without understanding that not every cause is reasonable, and not every cause is justified by reason. Many people find logic boring, so they avoid studying it. However, by succumbing to the distaste of boredom, they only harm the competence of their own rationality, in the name of the heart. Therefore, the heart alone is insufficient in decision-making, and can actually be counterproductive to our ambitions in life. This includes business and politics. When we fail to understand that the cause of our actions is not always reasonable, we may as well fail to learn from our mistakes and make the same actions under the same poor reasoning. It is irrational to justify poor reasoning when that reasoning can be improved. Because when our reasoning is improved, we can decrease the chances of committing the same mistakes again. Studying reason is part of growing up. Because grown men and women are also reasonable beings who do not act on petty emotion alone. In order to do that, one must be rational. And rationality is something that should be taught, for that endeavor. It deserves to be taught just like anything else in education that is there to prepare the student for their adult life. Those who fail to be rational remain infantile. And those who are seen as infantile in this world can easily be treated disrespectfully, and like dirt beneath people's feet. Therefore, in order to earn respect in this world, one must also be rational, and not only an adult. Because to be treated like a child, when you're not, is very disrespectful. No matter by whom. No matter the reason or intent. Those of us who need respect in order to mentally survive may crave rationality like a cat may crave the affection of its owner. Therefore, without rationality, some of us are good as dead. Some of us, like myself. Because if I fail to prove that I deserve respect, I will only be met with the traumatizing humiliation of the cruel and the merciless, whose behavior is normalized. It is easy to normalize anti-social behavior in our world and treat people like garbage without remorse. However, what they fail to realize is that, without respect, there is no legitimacy to the consideration of human and civil rights. And with the disrespect of human beings, some of them would ask themselves, why do they live, and should they just die, and end the agony of feeling small, insignificant, and/or unloved? Still, some of us may become anti-social beings in order to survive in an anti-social world. Shame how lack of empathy can corrupt the human mind, and crush it like a twig. Moving on. Because it is far easier to disrespect those whom we may see as infantile, than otherwise. It is wrong to judge people by mere impression, by mere emotion. But by doing so, we would only feed the cycle of suffering, by refusing to be reasonable ourselves, and consider the long term. The "long term" that exists beyond our first impressions of someone. The "long term" that dares to question who the person in front of us really is, and what they are capable of, for the good and for the bad. And if we use ignorance as an excuse, like a child would, we would only feed that cycle of suffering even more. Because the child is naive. The child is ignorant, and might not consider the fact that they should learn from their ignorant mistakes, in order to avoid making them again. Because he or she who refuses to make the same mistakes again are doomed to repeat them indefinitely. The infantile does not learn. The grown up does. And this world of rugged individuality is not one that cares much about learning. It is one that cares to feel good and have a good time. Just like a child would. All in the name of niceness and fun. For learning, which is essential for maturity, is far more boring in comparison. That is, even though it is imperative for our survival. If we succumb to our infantile desires, they will only bring us down with them. Down to humiliation, whining, self-pity, and seeing ourselves as victims and weaklings. All the way to the bottom of the human social hierarchy. That is the merciless world we live in. A world that can easily bring down our self-respect, because it encourages the infantility found in hedonism, naivety, and reluctance to do things that are difficult and/or unpleasing. And with our own lack of self-respect, the world will not respect us as much as we deserve. Another cruel cycle, played carelessly or without awareness. See how this world make us wish to grow up, and yet, nurtures a culture that praises infantile traits. Should we ascend this culture, and act outside of its counter-intuitive rationality, we might be able to get the respect we deserve as human beings. Because respect, like love, while elementary, is forever to be gained in this cruel meritocracy of a world. Should you ultimately fail to gain respect from the world, you can easily be left behind in the capitalistic competition over resources. Money, influence, and even followers. Virtual, or otherwise. Because even those who are there to give you services, can easily dismiss you like the human dirt they think you are, should you fail to gain their respect. That is especially true in kakistocracies, where professionalism is compromised in the name of self-interest. That self interest may include the desire to avoid discomfort. And to avoid discomfort, they (professionals) may disrespect you ruthlessly in a kakistokracy. So, if we want to get the relevance we may believe we deserve, as well as the respect of others, we must eradicate infantility within us. Because acting immaturely can easily make people minimize our worth. And in lives where there is a shortage of love, empathy, or affection, that minimization of worth can also make us depressed, if not suicidal. We may be in a constant war to prove our relevance in the eyes of those who are unable or unwilling to distinguish rationality from normalcy. But in order to persevere, we must win that war regularly. Because otherwise, why would we want to live if we are treated like dirt? Why would we want to live, if we are not as loved, and remain in a lonely corner, despite what we can give to this world?

  • The Vibrational Energies in Humans (By Mr. Ogbule Chibuzo Isaac)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) In the context of humans, vibrational energies often refer to the concept of energy centers or "chakras" in some spiritual and alternative medicine practices. Chakras are believed to be centers of energy within the body that correspond to specific physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person. Vibrational energy manifests an unseen force that drives all physical matter to convulse in different frequencies. It can all be concluded as a state of being or present, the environment, or the energetic quality of a person, atmosphere, place, thought, or act. The philosophical meaning of vibrational energies in humans is often associated with the concept of spiritual or metaphysical energy. It is rooted in various belief systems that suggest that humans possess an invisible energy or life force that influences their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Some traditions and practices, like certain Eastern philosophies and holistic healing modalities, explore the idea of balancing and aligning these vibrational energies to promote health and harmony. However, it's essential to note that the concept of vibrational energies in humans falls within the realm of philosophical and spiritual interpretations rather than scientific consensus. Different cultures and traditions may interpret and approach this concept in diverse ways. Spiritual Interpretation: In spiritual and metaphysical beliefs, everything, including humans, is considered to be made up of energy. This energy is believed to vibrate at different frequencies, and these vibrations influence a person's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Practitioners of spiritual healing and alternative medicine often talk about balancing and raising one's vibrational energies to promote health, harmony, and personal growth. According to this perspective, negative emotions, stress, and physical ailments are thought to cause disruptions or blockages in the flow of energy within the body, leading to imbalances. Techniques such as meditation, energy healing (e.g., Reiki), yoga, and certain rituals are used to harmonize and raise the vibrational frequencies to improve overall well-being. Scientific Interpretation: In scientific terms, humans, like all matter, are composed of atoms, which are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. These subatomic particles are in constant motion, and their movement creates vibrational energy. However, the vibrational energies referred to in spiritual contexts are not directly related to the scientific understanding of atomic vibrations. It's essential to distinguish between the spiritual and scientific interpretations, as the former is based on subjective beliefs and experiences, while the latter is rooted in well-established scientific principles. While spiritual practices often use terms like "vibrational energies" to describe experiences and effects that might not have a direct scientific basis, these practices can still offer benefits for mental and emotional well-being. Meditation, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness, which are often associated with discussions about vibrational energies, have been scientifically studied and shown to have positive effects on reducing stress and improving overall health. However, the concept of vibrational energies in humans is multi-faceted and encompasses spiritual beliefs about energy flow and frequency, as well as scientific knowledge about the movements of atoms and molecules within the human body. While the spiritual interpretations are not scientifically proven, the practices associated with raising one's vibrational energies may contribute positively to mental and emotional health. Vibrational energies in humans refer to the concept that everything, including our bodies, is composed of energy that vibrates at different frequencies. Some people believe that these vibrations can affect our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The idea is rooted in various holistic and alternative healing practices, but it's essential to note that scientific evidence supporting this concept is limited. The Philosophical Question About Vibrational Energies In Humans: The philosophical question about vibrational energies in humans revolves around the nature of existence and the interconnectedness of all things. It touches on ideas about consciousness, spirituality, and the potential for subtle energy fields influencing our well-being. Some people view it as a metaphorical way to understand human experiences and connections beyond the physical realm, while others may interpret it as a more literal concept tied to various belief systems and practices. The debate lies in the absence of empirical evidence to conclusively prove or disprove the existence and impact of these vibrational energies. As such, it remains a topic of ongoing contemplation and exploration for individuals with diverse perspectives. The philosophical appraisal of vibration energies in humans can be approached from various perspectives, including metaphysical, spiritual, and scientific viewpoints. It involves contemplating the nature of vibrations within humans, their significance, and potential implications for human existence and consciousness. Here are some philosophical considerations related to vibration energies in humans: Interconnectedness: The concept of vibration energies often involves the idea that everything in the universe is interconnected and constantly in motion. From a philosophical standpoint, this interconnectedness might lead to reflections on the unity of all things and the interdependence of human beings with the cosmos. Consciousness and Awareness: Some philosophical schools of thought suggest that vibrations within humans might be linked to consciousness and awareness. The notion that our thoughts, emotions, and perceptions are manifestations of varying vibrational energies could raise questions about the nature of consciousness and the mind-body relationship. Holism and Wholeness: Viewing humans as complex systems of vibrating energies could align with a holistic perspective. Philosophically, this might lead to discussions on the unity of body, mind, and spirit, emphasizing the importance of treating individuals as integrated wholes rather than mere collections of parts. Eastern Philosophies: In various Eastern philosophical traditions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism, the concept of energy centers or chakras is central. These energy centers are believed to be associated with different vibrations and have an impact on physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The philosophical examination of these beliefs could delve into the significance of such concepts in understanding the human experience. Subjectivity and Perception: The idea of vibration energies in humans might also prompt discussions about the nature of subjective experiences. How individuals perceive and interpret vibrations within themselves could be seen as a subjective and personal aspect of human existence. Ethics and Morality: Philosophical inquiries into vibration energies might touch on ethical considerations. For instance, if one believes that their energy or vibrations can influence the world around them, ethical questions may arise about the responsibility that comes with that influence. Integration with Science: Philosophical discussions about vibration energies can also explore the relationship between scientific understandings of the human body and more esoteric or spiritual perspectives. How can these two realms be reconciled, if at all, and what implications does that have for our understanding of human beings? Appraising this topic involves exploring a wide range of beliefs, viewpoints, and cultural backgrounds to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various perspectives on this subject.

The main character, Neo, discovers the truth and joins a group of rebels fighting to free humanity from the machines' control. The story delves into themes of reality, identity, and the nature of existence. The film explores the concept of a simulated reality controlled by machines, while humans are unaware and plugged into this virtual world. The protagonist, Neo, discovers the truth and becomes part of a rebellion against the machines The film's innovative visual effects and philosophical themes have made it a significant cultural icon in the science fiction genre. By weaving these philosophical aspects into its narrative, The Matrix creates a rich and intellectually stimulating experience, inviting viewers to contemplate profound questions about reality, identity, free will, and the human condition. It has become a thought-provoking work that continues to resonate with audiences and spark philosophical discussions. Epistemology and Skepticism: The film raises questions about knowledge, truth, and skepticism. It challenges the characters and the audience to question what they believe to be real and whether their perceptions can be trusted. Epistemology is the philosophical study of knowledge and its acquisition. In the context of The Matrix, skepticism plays a significant role. The film explores themes of reality, perception, and the nature of knowledge. From an epistemological perspective, The Matrix raises questions about whether what we perceive as reality is genuine or merely an illusion. The characters in the movie live in a simulated world, and their perceptions are manipulated by the machines. This challenges the certainty of their knowledge about the world around them. Skepticism is evident in the characters' doubt and questioning of the reality they experience. Neo's journey can be seen as a representation of skepticism, as he seeks to uncover the truth and questions his understanding of the world. Additionally, Morpheus' famous quote, "What is real? How do you define reality?" encapsulates the philosophical skepticism the movie delves into. In all, The Matrix presents a thought-provoking exploration of epistemological questions and skepticism, inviting viewers to contemplate the nature of reality and the limits of human knowledge. Metaphysics and Reality The Matrix delves into the nature of reality and existence. It presents the idea that what we perceive as reality might be a simulated construct, blurring the lines between the physical world and the digital one. The Matrix is a science fiction film that explores complex themes related to metaphysics and reality. It delves into the concept of simulated reality, where humans are unknowingly trapped in a simulated world created by artificial intelligence. The movie raises philosophical questions about the nature of reality, the mind-body problem, and the existence of a higher reality beyond the simulated one. In the film, the Matrix represents an illusory world that humans perceive as their reality, while their true physical bodies are held captive in pods by machines. The central character, Neo, discovers the truth and must confront the distinction between the simulated reality and the genuine reality of the world outside the Matrix. The film's metaphysical aspects challenge our understanding of perception, identity, and the nature of existence. It serves as a thought-provoking exploration of the boundaries between what is real and what is perceived. Existentialism: The movie touches on existential themes, particularly through Neo's journey. He grapples with questions about his purpose, identity, and the freedom to choose his path. The Matrix explores themes related to individuality, free will, reality, and the nature of existence within a simulated world. The movie presents a scenario where humans are unknowingly living in a simulated reality created by machines, raising questions about the meaning of life and the choices we make. The concept delves into the struggle of the characters to find their authentic selves and embrace freedom in a world that appears predetermined. Determinism and Free Will The concept of humans being controlled by machines raises questions about free will. It explores whether individuals have the ability to make authentic choices or if their actions are predetermined by external forces. The Matrix explores the theme of determinism and free will through its central concept of an artificial reality controlled by machines. The film suggests that humans are unaware of their true reality and live in a simulated world, where their actions seem to be a product of choice, but are actually predetermined by the machines. Neo's journey represents the struggle between determinism and free will. He is initially confined to the rules of the Matrix, seemingly without control over his actions. However, as he learns about the truth and gains awareness, he begins to exercise his free will and challenge the predetermined fate imposed by the machines. The film raises philosophical questions about the nature of reality, the illusion of choice, and the possibility of transcending predetermined paths. It invites viewers to contemplate whether true freedom lies in accepting the constructed reality or in breaking free from it to shape their own destinies. In all, The Matrix serves as a thought-provoking exploration of the interplay between determinism and free will, leaving audiences to ponder the complexities of human existence and the nature of reality itself. Ethics and Rebellion The resistance against the machines raises ethical questions about power, control, and the value of human life. It explores the moral implications of fighting against oppression and the consequences of one's actions. The Matrix also raises several ethical questions, particularly regarding the use of technology to control human minds and the nature of reality. The rebellion aspect centers on the struggle of humanity against the oppressive machines that keep them imprisoned in the virtual world. The film's themes prompt viewers to contemplate the balance between individual freedom and societal control, and the consequences of challenging established norms. Allegory of the Cave The film parallels Plato's Allegory of the Cave, where people mistake shadows on a cave wall for reality. Neo's journey can be seen as a metaphorical escape from the cave, seeking to understand the true nature of existence. The film raises philosophical questions about the nature of reality, the illusion of choice, and the possibility of transcending predetermined paths. It invites viewers to contemplate whether true freedom lies in accepting the constructed reality or in breaking free from it to shape their own destinies. The allegory of the cave, first presented by Plato in The Republic, shares similarities with the concept portrayed in The Matrix. Both explore the idea of reality being an illusion and humans being unaware of their true existence. In the allegory, people are chained in a cave, only able to see shadows on the wall, believing them to be real. Similarly, in The Matrix, humans are trapped in a simulated reality, unaware of the real world. In both cases, a character (Plato's philosopher and Neo in The Matrix) discovers the truth and must confront the challenge of returning to the cave or the simulated reality to help others escape their ignorance. The central theme revolves around questioning what we perceive as reality and how knowledge can lead to enlightenment and liberation from illusion. Conclusion: The philosophical central idea of The Matrix revolves around the concept of reality and perception. It explores the notion that our perceived reality might be an illusion, created by a sophisticated virtual reality system. This raises questions about the nature of existence, the self, and the importance of free will versus determinism. The movie challenges us to question our understanding of the world and contemplate the true nature of reality. Mr. Nathan Lasher's Feedback As machines do not possess a soul they are not capable of free thought. This raises one fundamental problem with the Matrix. Machines can only do what they are programed to. This means in the Matrix history some dumb a** had to program the machines to be able to harvest humans. Who hates humanity that much they would doom everyone to that fate? How we do not know we are in a matrix? Is not everything we see the results of someone taking action? We follow the herd mentality and become a herd of followers instead of leaders. I think that is the imagery the Matrix is trying to show: Many followers and only a few free leaders. Is the concept of any movie about conflic, giving into something versus fighting against it? We as people love to pick sides, explaining the separation in politics. I wonder if people in the matrix also had to win by election or were those victories pre determined as well? The problem with the world today is they train people to ask for permission before taking action. What if we were all responsible for our own actions? Neo changes the way he views reality, the matrix, by starting to discover he has the ability to change reality; he after making this discovery had the ability to move through reality because he understood it. Isn’t that the message in the Matrix, well one of them? To make people realize they have more control over their own realities than they previously believed? Jobs are a good example of actions. Think about it in a macro sense. What are you actually doing for a company? I think the point of the matrix was to make people stop living in the simulation of life. To wake up and realize the only way things will change is if you take responsibility for understanding that, if you want change you must invest something into getting it, either time or money. If you ever wake up and can’t understand the life you have, [then] you are a representation of Neo before he woke up. That is the message I think the writers were trying to get across. People need to wake up to the flaws in the system and do something to get rid of them.

  • The Unparalleled Influence of Philosophers: Written by Nr. M. J. K. Molai

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) (Philosocom's Directory on Power) (Background music) ******************** The Power of a Philosopher The power of a philosopher lies in their ability to understand and analyze complex concepts, ask fundamental questions about existence, and offer insightful perspectives on life and human nature. Philosophers possess a unique skill set that enables them to critically examine various aspects of reality, morality, and knowledge. Their wisdom and understanding can be profoundly influential in guiding and motivating people from all walks of life. Communication Firstly, philosophers have the capacity to distill complex ideas into accessible language, making profound concepts understandable to a broader audience. Their ability to communicate effectively allows them to share insights and philosophical ideas with people from different backgrounds and levels of education. By bridging the gap between abstract theories and practical applications, philosophers can inspire and motivate individuals in their personal and professional lives. Ethics and Morality Secondly, philosophers often explore topics related to ethics, morality, and values, which can significantly impact individuals' decision-making processes. By presenting ethical frameworks and moral reasoning, philosophers can guide people in making more informed and responsible choices, both at the individual and societal levels. Such guidance can contribute to a more compassionate and just world. (Here is but one example of an ethical article on Philosocom) Critical Thinking Moreover, philosophers' emphasis on critical thinking and rational inquiry can empower individuals to develop their analytical skills and question preconceived notions. Through philosophical discussions, people learn to challenge assumptions, seek evidence, and evaluate arguments. This process of intellectual growth can foster independent thought and self-motivated learning, ultimately empowering individuals to become better problem solvers and decision-makers. (Here is but an example of a critique on Philosocom) Happiness and Purpose Additionally, philosophers often explore topics related to happiness, purpose, and the human condition. By delving into existential questions, they offer insights that can resonate deeply with people, leading them to contemplate the meaning and direction of their lives. This introspection can be a powerful motivator for personal growth and transformation, as individuals strive to live more fulfilling and purpose-driven lives. The Limitations of Philosophy However, while philosophers can inspire and guide people from various fields and backgrounds, not everyone possesses the same level of knowledge, wisdom, and expertise to guide or motivate a philosopher. Philosophers dedicate their lives to studying and contemplating complex ideas, honing their skills of critical thinking and philosophical reasoning. In contrast, individuals from other fields may excel in their respective domains, but they might not possess the same depth of understanding in philosophy. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: There could be limitations in philosophy that could apply to the philosophers themselves as people) The Importance of Interdisciplinary Collaboration Furthermore, the hierarchical nature of expertise and knowledge plays a role in this phenomenon. Philosophers, like experts in other fields, undergo rigorous academic training and specialization, acquiring deep knowledge and understanding within their discipline. While other field-level individuals can offer valuable insights and expertise within their domain, they may not possess the same level of depth or comprehensive understanding of philosophy. Conclusion In conclusion, philosophers hold a unique and powerful position in society, as their ability to guide, motivate, and inspire people from all walks of life is unparalleled. Through effective communication, exploration of ethics and morality, and emphasis on critical thinking, philosophers can profoundly impact individuals and society as a whole. However, due to the specialized nature of philosophical knowledge and expertise, not everyone possesses the same capacity to guide or motivate a philosopher. This asymmetry in knowledge highlights the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the mutual benefits of learning from diverse perspectives. Ultimately, philosophers and individuals from other fields can complement each other, fostering a more informed, enlightened, and compassionate global community (Example of such attempts on Philosocom).

  • Bird In a Cage -- A Tale of Two Tigresses (A Guest Story by Ms. Yael Hilesoom On Solitude)

(French translation by Mr. Roland Leblanc. ********************* (English Translation by Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein) (Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) Mr. Rubinshtein's interpretation: This is a much-deserved story of positive solitude, told from the side of a woman, looking at another woman who sits in her belcony. There are, technically, many metaphors in this tale that can give you much time for reflection. The bird, for example, can be regarded as both sadness and as the protagonist's true self, repressed by her, as she lives her life. It can also represent her deepest desires. The comparison to tigers and predetors can teach us that we need to be strong in order to survive alone, whether we fight to survive, or victoriously reside in solitude with a cigar. Last but not least, the interaction with the other character can indicate us the para-social nature of today's world, where connections are not only fake but distant. On the oxymoron of the far and close, existing together at the same time. I also translated this piece to English. Do enjoy. ************************** Today I met a predator, like me. It happened late at night, when I was sitting in the yard, smoking my last cigarette and still feeling unhappy. A strange sadness had come over me, and I didn't know how to deal with it. I had been tolerating her presence since morning, but she just sat there like a bird in a cage, pecking at the bars. I really wanted to reach out and throw her out. I stared out into the dark air. No voices from Agripas Street could be heard over the buildings of Hayabuk Street. Even the hummus shop was silent, not playing a single tune. A million people passed through that street every day. One person even started a fight with another over a place in line at a restaurant. But all the noise was gone as I sat in the dark, tasteless yard, angry at nothing. Then, an angry beast like me turned on the lights on the balcony in front of me. She smoked a strawberry-scented cigar, releasing the smoke in all directions. The sweet smell mixed with the black tail of my lonely cigarette. And loneliness sat there, doing nothing. After a while, she came to the fence and looked down. Then she sat back down, and when no one came to call her, she stood up and left. And then I was left alone with the pile of mattresses that I had laid a nice sheet on. I stared helplessly, and the caged bird was no longer angry. She didn't cry anymore either. I opened the door for her, so she could fly into the darkness, to the silence of other people's eyes. When a tiger loses his streak, he doesn't sleep at night. There is no one to keep him safe. No one to keep him warm. No one to show him the way. So he lights up his path in life with his green, glowing, and cruel eyes.

  • How to Build the Mind with Rejections

(Extra, internal read: https://www.philosocom.com/post/rejection-as-inevitable-and-vengeful-altruism ) (Inspired music) (Disclaimer: I first and all support survival in this world, that is full of gender biases. And I'll do whatever it takes to survive. I do not, for example, support the works of Andrew Tate, nor the man himself. No. I only support the means of survival, and not see them as the end. In a better world, sexism would've been irrelevant. It's why, by the way, I built the masculinity subcategory). (Disclaimer II: When reading me, do try to distinguish between the means and between the end. I am a very functional thinker. Try making the difference between when I talk of this reality, and between a better reality. This poem is about this reality, which is, of course, far from perfect). ************************* Where the cowardice ended, A new man, rose up, begun. Cowardice, depraves human hearts, Thus with it, I am done. For I, to prove, What the ex-self, couldn't. And thus, being infantile, Is not a thing a man, be or should. Time to crush emotion beneath my boots, If it was dumb, then, I certainly wouldn't. Rejection caused by worry, Of threats, imaginary. People, and their lack of inner safety. Fill what is lacked, Requires being hefty. For I, to prove, Others to support: Approve. Hermitdom is the realm of the weak-hearted, Who also escape from society. But I, recovered to sobriety, In favor of not me, But fellow humanity. Because I again proved, by memory, To be a lesser man. To prove myself's my purpose, Something, I need and can. To whom? To all. As been rejected, Too long. I do not seek your pity, Because killing it, is my dignity. Gender roles keep playing humanity, So unconsciously. For I am, the big and lonely wolf, Capable of scaring away anyone. It is all because I exist, But to exist, I will not be done. For I build, an empire, Filled with pride. My orders: Fire. • Queries On the Influence of Religion as Manipulation (By Mr. M. Svartgold)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) (Philosocom's subcategory on religion) ******************************** I have many questions about religion that I have not been able to answer. Nevertheless, I'll try not only asking but giving my thoughts on some of them, as well. Please enjoy. How does God appear to people in this new age? Does God's nature change over time? Why did God allow Job to suffer? Does God help everyone equally? Is it common for believers to marry at a young age? Why does God seem to have different standards for adultery for men and women? What was Adam and Eve's purpose in the Garden of Eden? Why did God punish Adam and Eve? Is God's mercy truly unconditional? Why do religious communities often ostracize those who leave the religion? Is the expectation of virginity still relevant in today's society? Why do many religions require that spouses be of the same faith? Is luck a manifestation of God's will? What is the role of religious leaders? Why do religions continue to evolve? What is the significance of religious holidays? Why is it important to celebrate religious holidays? How do religious and secular values interact? How do secular people understand religious holidays? What are the challenges of interfaith marriage? What are the causes of religious conflict? What is the role of peace in religion? The Role of Religion in Manipulation Religion can be used as a tool for manipulation in many ways. For example, it can be used to justify violence, control people's behavior, and justify discrimination. It can also be used to exploit people financially. One way that religion can be used to manipulate people is by appealing to their emotions. For example, religious leaders may use fear, guilt, or love to control their followers. They may also use promises of eternal reward or punishment to manipulate people's behavior. Such an example being the concept of an afterlife, whether true or not. Another way that religion can be used to manipulate people is by controlling the information that they have access to. For example, religious leaders may discourage their followers from questioning religious teachings or reading non-religious sources of information. That can be regarded as an expression of fantaicism. This can make it difficult for people to think critically about their beliefs and make informed decisions. That's especially true when one is decieved by ulterior motives. Religion can also be used to exploit people financially. For example, religious leaders may ask their followers to donate money to the church or other religious organizations. They may also sell religious items, such as books, CDs, or clothing. In some cases, religious leaders may use their influence to pressure people into making financial contributions that they cannot afford. And of course, there is no "shortage" of scams in our world. The manipulation of religion is a serious problem that can have harmful consequences. It is important to be aware of the ways that religion can be used to manipulate people so that we can protect ourselves from being exploited. The role of religious leaders Religious leaders play an important role in society. They provide guidance and support to their followers, and they help to preserve and transmit religious traditions. They also often serve as moral leaders, and they can use their influence to promote social justice and peace. However, they can also abuse their power, under the guise of sacred-ness and benevolence. The significance of religious holidays Religious holidays are important because they provide opportunities for people to come together and celebrate their faith. They can also be a time for reflection and introspection, and they can help to strengthen people's connection to their community. The challenges of interfaith marriage Interfaith marriage can be challenging, but it can also be rewarding. Couples who marry across religious lines need to be willing to compromise and respect each other's beliefs. They also need to be prepared to deal with the challenges that may arise from different cultural expectations. The causes of religious conflict Religious conflict can be caused by a variety of factors, including differences in religious beliefs, political disagreements, and economic disparities. It can also be exacerbated by the actions of religious leaders who promote intolerance and violence. It is important to not submit to the authority fallacy when it comes to leadership. The role of peace in religion Peace is an important value in many religions. Religious teachings often emphasize the importance of love, compassion, and forgiveness. These values can be a powerful force for promoting peace in the world. The Torah and the Bible In the Torah, we see Abraham sacrificing his only son, Isaac. Why did God ask Abraham to do this? What is the definition of "good" in the sense of God? Is it a divine miracle? There were many, many people who were sacrificed by God and did not get on the ark. Why is it so important to rest without doing anything at all? These are of course questions regarding these specific texts. The paradox of self-defense On the one hand, they say not to murder in many sects of major religions. On the other hand, to defend myself who rises up to kill you, should you kill him...? Who said they wanted to kill me? In which situations self-defense is mandatory and in which it is. The importance of children It is in every religion said. Children are a joy. But children are also an economic expense. And if there is no financial help with the children, what is expected? Conclusion These are just some of the many questions that I have about religion. I believe that it is important to question our beliefs, and to think critically about the role of religion in our lives. I hope that this article has sparked some thought and discussion about these important issues. Thank you for reading and for Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein for ordering this article.

  • Doing Versus Being -- The Philosophy of True Love

(French translation by Mr. Roland Leblanc. Et ça me tue intérieurement, alors que je travaille de plus en plus. https://en.lovebox.love/blogs/news/what-is-true-love https://www.liveabout.com/what-is-true-love-1021940 https://psychcentral.com/relationships/love-is-a-choice-more-than-a-feeling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoskAoNxg88 https://integrativepsych.co/new-blog/what-is-an-inner-child https://blog.lillypad.ai/idioms-for-heart-touching/ https://www.psychmechanics.com/why-is-true-love-rare/ ************************************ In essence, we are not whatever we're doing in life, and in a way, we might as well never be. Never truly, be, at least. Beyond the titles, the positions, and our relevance in this world, we are human beings. Beings who are in need of emotion, affection, and even love. Understand the difference between being respected and being loved. Your status of respect is always relative to what you do. On the other hand, when someone loves you truly, they first and foremost love you for who you are, and not necessarily for what you do. A man and his job are always separate. Even if the man provides, he does not become a being by providing, nor a "something." No. The human being already exists because they were born, and will stop existing once they're dead. No amount of hard work and contribution is going to change the fact that the human being will exist until their death. Therefore, you do not become more of a person because of what you do. Your personhood is here to stay as long as you're alive. And respect is gained by your actions and contributions, and not because you are your own unique person. No one is simply going to respect you deeply because of who you are. And by "who you are," I refer to you as the very naked person you are. Beyond the social filtering, beyond the masks and costumes you put on yourself. You put on these masks and costumes for certain aims. Because the social and professional worlds are forever political. You have to earn your keep, and you may want to get whatever you desire and need in life. That is only done through producing and generating proof for being respected. That includes money, of course. Because a hard-working person is a respectable one, even if they do not earn much, but still work hard, their relevance is proven by their efforts. The mistake in our understanding may come when we think that in love, it's the same. In true love, it's not. True love does not require approval. You do not need to prove your relevance to the one who truly loves you. The truly loved is loved for the entirety of who they are, and do not require filters or to prove their value. For true love accepts you for whom you truly are. You do not need to pretend and you do not need to use filters. You do not need to hide and lie in order to get your way. For in true love, all you need to do is to be yourself. Being yourself is the only necessary condition. Understand that doing other things is but an extra, not the necessity. I would argue that true love is irrational. However, there are aspects in us humans that indeed are irrational. We may use rationality to understand reality and to survive. But deep inside, there are impulsive, infantile aspects of ourselves that we repress in order to survive in a pretentious and professional society. A society that expects you to restrain yourself on a regular basis. Because society does not love you. If anything, it would only respect you, as long as you give it a good enough reason to do so. You need to prove your worth to your boss, to your friends, to your customers, and even to workers of other companies. Sometimes you may even need to prove your worth to strangers in order to survive in this love-lacking human society. It is difficult to explain true love because true love is more to be felt than to be explained. It's a matter of personal experience, far more than it is of logic. Nonetheless, humans are not entirely robotic in their beings. They will not be fanatically consistent with rules and methods like a computer is able to do (and far better). No. Humans can easily deviate from their own philosophies of life, conscious or otherwise, because humans are not purely logical. We are not purely logical because deep inside we are still children. "Infants," who want to be loved and cared for. For no amount of respect can compensate a life that's purely or mostly devoid of any affection from another being. Because you cannot be truly loved for who you are without respect. And respect is easily possible without the "being" aspect of yourself. All that it requires, necessarily, is the "doing" aspect of human life. And I'm killing that part of myself to survive and to do my job. I am partially doing it, reluctantly. True love is an action-independent relevance. It does not depend on any action you take, as long as it lasts. It is a very deep, emotionally irrational bond with another person, or vice versa, or together. It is irrational only because it is hard to explain properly. However, regardless of the rationale, remember that true love is one of the rarest emotions in this world. And since it feels so honest, it deserves to be one of the best emotions in the human hierarchy, for those who seek relevance and depth in this life. Someone... taught me all of this. For psychological safety, that is all you need to know. Ever. I'm doing this professionally, and thus I now more strive to distinguish personal affairs and business. You are not here for my heart but for my rationality. True love is not only an emotion, but also an action. It is something that you can choose to do, and others can choose to do for you. The decision of whether to truly love someone is in your hands, just as it is in theirs. But when either of you do it, the other person does not have to prove anything to you. True love is something that is nurtured through interaction and consideration. It is always about the individual as they are themselves, and never about them in relation to other things or beings. That is why there is never love in politics, because it is always based on interests, not on the people involved. A true lover might not even love you for your achievements, no matter how big or small they are. It does not matter if you have a job or an empire. They do not love your extra properties. They love you, and only you, for who you are. And they do not choose to love your actions, by loving you. Because when you are truly loved you are not a means to an end! You are the end! So when someone dares to say that you have their heart, never take it lightly! You just need to love yourself first. Because when you do so, you do not see yourself as a problem. Those who hate themselves do so because they fail to accept themselves. And how can others accept them when they lack the willpower to accept themselves first? Love yourself, and you will be able to love others as well. Likewise, if you are able to love others, they can choose to love you far more easily. I don't know why people choose to love. I just know that they do. This includes myself. I want to love only because I feel the need to. And it's killing me inside, while I work more and more. https://en.lovebox.love/blogs/news/what-is-true-love https://www.liveabout.com/what-is-true-love-1021940 https://psychcentral.com/relationships/love-is-a-choice-more-than-a-feeling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoskAoNxg88 https://integrativepsych.co/new-blog/what-is-an-inner-child https://blog.lillypad.ai/idioms-for-heart-touching/ https://www.psychmechanics.com/why-is-true-love-rare/

  • A Concise Guide to Philosophy -- A Revamped Introduction

(French translation by Mr. Roland Leblanc. ***************************** (For more meta-philosophy material, here are some articles: https://www.philosocom.com/post/philosophers-and-relevancy https://www.philosocom.com/post/how-to-become-a-philosopher-philosophy-as-art-and-science) (For a great, brief introduction of philosophy, here is an external source). (Background music) ************** Let's begin with a fun fact: In Hebrew, philosophers are called “Formulators of Ideas” (Hogeh De’ot in singular, Hogei De'ot in plural), which can be interpreted as opinions, assumptions, and theories. They do this through inquiry, contemplation, and research. It's also possible to argue that contemplation is a form of research. Whereas scientists experiment empirically, philosophers communicate, either through speech, discussion, or writing. Should the philosopher experiment, they would use thought experiments. An opinion stops being just that when it covers a philosophical subject with a great deal of focus on reason, and is backed up by evidence. Then, that opinion becomes elevated beyond a mere assumption. Even in the search of truth, we are bound to our own conception, since everything we do comes from ourselves and/or cooperation with others. And since the self is subjective, so are its deeds and expressions, regardless of existence. Being bound to ourselves means that we are bound to the functionality of our brains as thinkers. Thus, should we improve said functionality by improving our reasoning and preserving our cognition, we can then take better advantage of the work tool that is the brain. And there is no thinker that does not use his brain for carrying out cognitive tasks. As such, philosophers are considered "great thinkers" because they often do whatever they can to not only use their cognitive skills constantly but also make sure these skills are not impaired by irrationality. A seasoned philosopher would in theory be able to criticize anyone and anything, as critical thinking is a very core element stored in the tool box that's the thinker's brain. It would only make sesne that a philosopher who is a poor critical thinker is also a poor philosopher. The more logical and evidence-backed an opinion is, the more likely it is to be a fact or at least close to it. This is why different philosophers reach different conclusions on the same issue: As philosophers may approach to the same issues, differently. It is why different philosophers are distinguished by name, the more they are known. For there is a certain, unique individuality to each philosopher, which is evident in the way they think, and in the ideas they formulate. And as such, philosophers may create different schools of thought, and may have their own brand of thinking, categorized by their names. And as such, my own thinking is of the Rubinshteinic kind. Philosophy is the search for truth through the creation of premises, followed by their legitimacy for existence through good logical reasoning and searched evidence. Once a premise is built on these two, and once it is considered philosophical, it is a philosophical idea. It is an idea which can also be considered an opinion, as opinions can be correct as well, and thus should not be degraded nor discarded, as they could be more valid than others. Example: If you believe there is a God, and God exists, then your belief is true; a belief known as theism; which is a theory, which is an assumption. Therefore, assumptions could be true, and not just mere speculations, backed up by momentary impressions of an object/idea. The truth is out there and can be found even through subjectivity, which we are bound to by existing as subjective beings. And in this article, I attempted to redeem the logical worth of subjectivity. Hence why the sentence "in my opinion, God exists" is true if there's actually a God. This means that our opinions could either be true, or serve as valid indications of truth. And as the premise of this article went: The philosopher is a formulator of ideas/opinions. It is the job of the philosopher to formulate valid opinions that could lead us to a greater understanding of reality around us. The psuedo-philosopher may lack clarity and may "sin" in delusional thinking, which he or she may regard as valid points towards reality. The more he or she does it, the more evident that they are a psuedo-philosopher, or someone that markets themselves as a true philosopher, but lack the qualities of true philosophership. If you believe it will rain tomorrow and it will, your assumption becomes true, even if it was a product of your subjective opinion. Ultimately, the truth exists regardless of the tools we've used along the way to find it. And according to consequentialist thought, the end justifies the means. Should someone call you pretentious for expressing your philosophical opinions, remember that even opinions can be true, as all opinions are beliefs or disbeliefs, which, through the work of scientists and philosophers, can be backed up and thus indicate whether your opinions are, in fact, true or false. And when you advertise yourself as a philosopher, you need to "walk the talk" -- prove that you are indeed a philosopher. Or else, you will be deemed pretentious wrongly, even if you are not a psuedo-philosopher. That's because people can quick to submit to their confirmation bias, and as such, deliever misinformation by their own unintentional accord. Prove yourself publicly, and make your evidence present as a credible entity, and you can reduce this bias in the minds and hearts of others. A belief in philosophy is like Israel -- its legitimacy ought to be protected from those who disagree with it. And such disagreements are okay as long as they do not result in heated arguements of petty insults of ad hominem -- the ignoring of the presented arguments in favor of degrading the individual themselves. That's unfortunately common nowadays and threatens free speech for the more sensitive. And yes, let me finish with this: If you're going to be a public philosopher, make sure you are not as sensitive enough, to the point that you will succumb to your emotional biases.

  • An interview with Andy Oppenheimer From Oppenheimer Analysis (By Mr. Ori Sindel)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) This is a short interview of mine with, discussing the lyrics of OPPENHEIMER ANALYSIS, one of my all time favourite musical projects. S: Good afternoon Andy Orion Oppenheimer. I have always been curious about the general meaning of the song "Modern Wonder". Additionally, I am wondering what the modern wonder mentioned in the song is. O: "‘Modern Wonder’ was a 1930s ‘boy’s’ popular science magazine (paper not glossy). I had a collection of the magazines given to me by my boss when I worked at Omni Magazine, around the time Martin Lloyd and I formed Oppenheimer Analysis in 1981. The song is about a time traveller and his lover who get separated and propelled into the future, the ‘late atomic age turning into chronic rage’ – and it’s devastation all round… “here we lie in disarray surrounded by the present day”. “Should we tell them what we know” – means that we are living in the future of atomic destruction, so do we tell the people of the past what we know about the terrible future?" O: I love that song. Martin played a favourite instrument of mine – a twelve string guitar – on the track. I think it was in the first ‘New Mexico’ collection on cassette tape." S: In your opinion, did the song "Cold War" happen to be some kind of a precise guess for our present events? After most of us “thought it was over”? O: "It was in part a warning for the time we were living in then – 1982, the height of the early 1980s Cold War – but from the point of view of as the Oppenheimer of history (now immortalised in THAT film) during the 1950s Cold War. He was ousted from government circles during the Cold War McCarthy witch hunt phase, in 1954 - having built the atomic bomb – partly because he warned of the dangers of a nuclear arms race - and opposed the development of the H-bomb. “We thought it was over” refers to the end of World War II, we thought it was over… (I am singing as the historical Oppenheimer) - “warn you of the danger I’ve got to get a hold” “Your blood runs cold” “'When you think you only did what you were told'” – guilt from building the bomb but under military oversight" S: Who are the devil's dancers, and what does the devil symbolise in the song? O: "I took the phrase from one of the atomic scientists who said building the bomb was dancing with the Devil. "I didn’t refer to the bomb specifically, just ‘the future’s here said the pioneer’ – and turned it into a catchy bunch of lyrics vaguely about scientists being “The Devil’s Dancers”. Martin’s arrangement and our composition of the tune turned it into a dance track. "Never in my/our wildest dreams did we expect this song to get so much exposure later in the Internet era. Had we got a recording contract back in 1982 this song would probably have charted… it’s been covered and even featured in a Miss World contest and Lord knows what else… "Yet it isn’t my personal best, by a long way – I’ve done some great songs since after Martin died (in 2013). Mostly with Mahk Rumbae (Oppenheimer MkII – The Presence of the Abnormal, Out in the Field) and I am still composing songs – there’s a stunning album coming out this autumn (Songs From A Constellation) with Crystalline Stricture on TONN Recordings. "But The Devil’s Dancers so catchy that I guess it just caught on among electro club DJs and the ‘collectors’ of early synth pop music." S: Who is the “HE” referred to in “Behind the Shades”? O: "I had to really think hard about this one! It was the first song Martin and I did. I based it on The Man Who Fell to Earth. I had that total Bowie look when we first got together. "So - [in the song] I am Thomas Jerome Newton, sitting in the big black car, wearing the sunglasses - Behind The Shades – and I’m now a multi-millionaire after falling to Earth and making a fortune. "I think that the ‘he’ and ‘him’ is some American corporate giant who doesn’t core about me or anyone else… he’s the one with the real power, not me. He will bring me down. “I don’t care whose empire it is, I know that I can’t see him behind the shades… And he’ll never see me…Or bother to care who I am”"

  • 7 Issues Arising From Assisted Reproduction (Bioethics) (By Ogbule Chibuzo Isaac)

(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com) Mr. Rubinshtein's Note: Welcome to Philosocom's second bioethics article. The first article on the subject was written by me, several years ago, on cloning. Should Philosocom have a third article on this philosophical niche (as bioethics is still ethics), I will turn it into a subcategory. Please enjoy this article I ordered. *********************** Assisted reproduction refers to the use of medical techniques to help individuals or couples conceive a child. While it has provided hope and options for many people facing fertility challenges, it also raises several ethical issues. Here are some of the key ethical concerns associated with assisted reproduction: 1. Consent and autonomy: Assisted reproduction often involves various interventions, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), gamete donation, and surrogacy. These procedures require the informed consent of all parties involved, including donors, recipients, and surrogates. Ethical concerns can arise if there is coercion, exploitation, or inadequate understanding of the risks and implications of the procedures. It is crucial to ensure that all individuals involved have the freedom to make autonomous decisions regarding their reproductive choices. 2. Allocation of resources: Assisted reproduction techniques can be expensive, making access to these procedures limited to individuals with financial means. This raises concerns about equitable distribution of resources. Access to fertility treatments should ideally be based on medical need rather than financial status, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic background, have equal opportunities to pursue parenthood. 3. Multiple embryos and selective reduction: During IVF, multiple embryos are often created to increase the chances of successful pregnancy. This practice can result in multiple pregnancies, which carry higher risks for both the mother and the fetuses. In such cases, selective reduction may be offered, where one or more embryos are terminated to reduce the number of fetuses. The decision-making process surrounding selective reduction raises ethical questions about the value and respect for human life. 4. Donor anonymity and identity disclosure: Assisted reproduction frequently involves the use of donated gametes (sperm or eggs). The anonymity of donors has traditionally been upheld, but some individuals born through donor conception have expressed a desire to know their genetic origins. Balancing the rights and interests of the child, the donor, and the parents can be challenging, and ethical considerations arise regarding the disclosure of donor identity and the right to genetic information. 5. Commercialization and exploitation: Assisted reproduction can create a market for reproductive services, including gamete donation and surrogacy. Concerns arise when financial incentives lead to exploitation, commodification of human reproductive materials, or the potential for individuals to be coerced or forced into reproductive arrangements. Ethical guidelines and regulations are necessary to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable individuals and to ensure that the interests of all parties involved are protected. 6. Health risks and long-term consequences: Assisted reproduction techniques, such as hormonal stimulation, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer, carry risks for the physical and psychological well-being of individuals involved. Ethical considerations include ensuring that individuals are fully informed about the potential risks and long-term consequences of these procedures, and that appropriate safeguards are in place to minimize harm. 7. Designer babies and eugenics: Advances in reproductive technologies, such as preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and gene editing techniques like CRISPR-Cas9, raise concerns about the potential for creating "designer babies." The ability to select or modify specific traits in embryos raises ethical questions about the limits of parental choice, the potential for exacerbating social inequalities, and the ethical implications of altering the human germline. These are just a few of the many ethical issues that arise in the context of assisted reproduction. Addressing these concerns requires ongoing dialogue, thoughtful regulation, and adherence to ethical principles that prioritize the well-being, autonomy, and dignity of all individuals involved. Conclusion The question of whether the end justifies the means is a complex one. An issue that deserves debate and questioning. But if there is a question we should keep on debating about, is if the ends justify the means; if we should risks said problems and make them frequent in our world, in the name of having children. Mr. Rubinshtein's Note: If possible, we can also choose to adopt, according to this U.S government site, There are 391k children and youth at least in America. Perhaps we should "cut the middle man" when there are already children that can be raised and loved in our world. The "middle man" being assisted reproduction technology (ART).

  • How to Overcome Denial and Unlock Reality

Unconscious denial is a defense mechanism that some of us use to resist reality. Our unconscious mind keeps us from being aware of our thoughts and experiences, so we may unconsciously deny the facts, supporting evidence, and even the truth itself in order to protect ourselves from mental harm and discomfort. Philosophy is about unlocking the truth, and as long as we deny the truth, we will never be able to understand it as well as philosophers. This is because philosophers are trained to be honest about the truth, even when it is uncomfortable. The truth can be painful, so it is understandable why we might try to deny it. However, it is important to remember that denying the truth will not make it go away. In fact, it will only make things worse in the long run. It is a way to avoid what Chezch writer Milan Kundera described as "Litost". And I quote: "Litost is a state of torment, created by the sudden sight of one's own misery". We might not always understand the consequences of repressing the truth. On our lives, on others, and on ourselves. And yet, the wounds this truth creates might govern us for the rest of our existence, until we confront it and stare deeply into its abyss. Into the abyss were our true beings are buried in. Beings oppressed by denial, by normalcy and by pathetic distractions, as we pretend to be fine and well. As we pretend that we do not need therapy, despite our trauma. As we pretend that we are good people, even if we abused others physically. As we pretend that we did nothing wrong because of normalcy and other, easily-disputable logical fallacies. Fallacies that decrease the clarity of reality's understanding. After all, cognitive dissonance is uncomfortable, and we may unconciously wish to not feel uncomfortable. We need to question everything if we want to find the truth. Because even if the truth is right in front of our eyes, we might not understand it properly due to the blinders of our denial. People who refuse to challenge the tyranny of their own denial are not worthy to wear the mantle of philosophy. They are too unworthy to have mentees or apprentices, as their ability to teach is compromised by something that can be handled with self-awareness and open-mindedness. That includes our very own identities. If we think we are good people, we should question our own morality. If we think we're smart, we need to question our intelligence and thus work to overcome a possible example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect. For denial only breeds biases. And the more biased we are, the more blind we are to reality. We need to embrace discomfort as a feature of life. We must not be so quick to escape it. If we escape it regularly, we will only let the fear of it control our lives. Like a puppeteer in a backroom, our fear of discomfort can be responsible for our own actions, without us even knowing it. We can earn our mental freedom by confronting our shadows, our darker sides, which reside within us. By meditating, we can convert content from the unconscious realm to the conscious. Meditation can be regarded as a mission where we delve into the darkness of ourselves in order to gather intelligence. The more we sink further and further, the more we might begin to feel less physical pain. We might feel freer, even at the cost of our own serenity. Because reality is not always what it seems to the biased eye. Confirmation bias is a very powerful force when it comes to our understanding of things. If we strive to always confirm our assumptions, we will blind ourselves and others from a possible truth, a truth that says otherwise. Here is an external source on this very subject. Later on, I may create a new subcategory on Philosocom, where other writers will provide commentary on my own articles. Philosocom is not here necessarily to promote an agenda, but to allow an exchange of different ideas in order to help you understand reality better. Better, through the art of writing philosophy articles, which I myself have mastered. After all, I have no desire to live in denial, even if that denial has the beneficial functionality of helping me live a comfortable life. Why? Because it is comfort that stands in my way towards seeking the truth. Philosophy is not the purpose. It is but a means to an end, a tool, a research method. And I'm using it for the betterment of humanity and of myself. Because I am a broken man who is not afraid of the dark anymore. The dark that lies within and outside of me. Because I am not afraid of what is known as litost. Tormented or not, what matters to me is understanding reality. And I will pay the necessary price on my mentality for that endeavor. Because unlike cowards whose cowardice is reinforced by normalcy, I am capable and willing to admit reality. And that includes my own faults and misdeeds. And I refuse using my former name of Tom or "innocence" as an excuse for misdeeds. As that is beneath the honesty of a moral philosopher. And I will fight against normlacy through my work; normlacy that justifies disgraceful acts by reinforcing them with conformity. For it is the norms that can turn people into sociopaths. And not the other way around, necessarily. For they are uncaring, and they are a barrier, used for denial. Tear down your innocence. It's in your way. It blinds you. Reality is worse than you might think... You, might be worse than you think. Your innocent self might as well be an unconcious facade, used to hide yourself from you. Hail Philosocom

  • The Mentally Disabled and Independence -- A Severe Critique (By Mr. M. Svartgold)

People with disabilities often face discrimination and exclusion, especially in Israel. It is true that most of them have problems getting drunk in order to acquire financial independence... where it will be possible to rent an apartment and live. And they owe a bigger budget from the state. Because it violates their rights. For example, how will a single traumatized person who is not self-employed and lives in their parents' house at the age of 30 or 40 find a job? In all places of employment, it seems that people with disabilities have started to be integrated. 21.3% of the workforce in the U.S is made up of people with disabilities. However, it is unclear how many of these people have mental illnesses. Employers are generally good at providing appropriate accessibility for people with disabilities, such as larger text for the visually impaired, devices that record what a person says and turn up the volume, and elevators. However, the attitude towards the mentally disabled is still negative and not adapted to each and every individual. There are mentally disabled people who have been evicted from their homes or have been the victims of severe sexual assault and must now live alone. The Housing Authority provides assistance of 770 NIS per month in the central area. However, the most basic apartment for such a person would cost at least 4,000-7,000 NIS per month. What does a person who lives with their parents at the age of 40 look like? How does the company treat them? How do they view themselves? How is a woman who was sexually abused in her family treated, even until the age of 40? Does this increase her integration and security in society? Is the attitude towards her really appropriate? Will the National Insurance really give her the allowance she deserves or will they take advantage of the fact that she is alone? Or with parents who just want to hurt her but are comfortable with her in their home keeping their secret from a very young age. Is the integration of the mentally disabled really adapted to each case? Can the mentally disabled really be real with society being so judgmental? It is clear that the budget for the mentally disabled is very low. The hard drugs that most of them take have negative effects on some of them, but there are also some positive effects. However, do they really live with dignity? A rehabilitation basket requires every mentally injured person to go to a psychiatrist regularly. That is, while the physically disabled, who earn almost twice the allowance to take care of themselves, have special services, additional assistants, and more assistance from the state in housing. They do not need to take care of themselves every day or every month. There are easier times. Why do mentally disabled people have no control over their lives? Why do they have to take pills that sometimes don't always suit them? Medication with disgusting taste that can make them puke? And every few months, many of them have to give the rehabilitation basket as proof that they are seeing a psychiatrist and that he is responsible for them. He/she can do anything they want. They can also impose a guardian over them, which can hurt them even more. As a need to belong in society, a mentally injured person must find an apartment for themselves. How many mentally disabled people have their own apartments? Do people with mental disabilities have the option of a mortgage? Depends if you are not discriminated. The mentally disabled from the military are a given. Belonging to the normative society is important for the mentally disabled primarily work. The need to work in order for them to be able to leave their parents' house, who do not necessarily take care for them. The cases may vary. There are those who hurt them, for example. But is it a big wish? To have at least a 2 room place to live in? It won't necessarily be just handed to them. And it is also not certain that it will be with good and accommodating neighbors, who would only deteiorate their mental condition, further. That's why they need to work like everyone else in society, if they are capable of work, despite the hand they've been dealt with. [23.7, 10:50, a quote from a woman named Iris:] "Does normative society truly include the mentally disabled and give them an average salary equal to that of non-disabled people? After all, mentally disabled people receive natural treatments, medication, and professional treatment from a psychologist or psychiatrist. Some people even go to a private psychiatrist and pay at least NIS 1,000 just to receive appropriate treatment. Why is it?" Why did the Israeli Ministry of Health issue a directive to combine all mentally disabled people with only other mentally disabled people, and not with the mentally or physically disabled or autistic people? Why is there a kind of separate and distinct category in their consciousness? Viewing people with mental disabilities as defective is not necessarily correct. There are many intelligent people with mental disabilities. In fact, their differences can often give them creativity and skills in certain areas. Why is it that almost every murderer or r**ist who is caught goes to a psychiatrist and is released from prison? Why are they then mixed in with ordinary people with mental disabilities who have never committed a crime? Why is this such a dangerous inclusion? Why do certain authorities always talk to people with mental disabilities in a slow manner, as if they were incapable of understanding? Do you think this helps them? I think it insults them far more, instead. Why are some mentally disabled people suspected for misdeeds? Are all people worthy of such suspicion? Why, after all their expensive treatments, some of which are also physical, they remain outsiders? Is the attitude towards them based on generalizations and reassurances to the public that a person murdered because he went to a psychiatrist once and is probably a person with a psychiatric diagnosis? What is this fake reassurance? Why are people with mental disabilities who do not function at all mentally disabled since they must exist and survive? These are all questions that need to be answered. The opportunity that has been given to mentally disabled people to work is excellent. However, even this has a limit. They are only allowed to earn up to NIS 5,300 gross, including travel expenses. As a rule, the cheapest apartment to rent is NIS 4,000 per month. This is how you ensure that independence is taken away from mentally disabled people who also need to be alone. They cannot be with their parents all their lives. If they earn more, the state takes more money from them. In the past, there was no possibility for mentally disabled people to work, and they were essentially imprisoned in asylums. This was not always healthy for the mentally disabled person, and it may have even contributed to their mental problems. A rehabilitation basket for the mentally disabled encourages work in sheltered factories, but the welfare wage for autistics, for example, is 11 NIS per hour. That is while while for the mentally disabled it is only 4-5 NIS. This situation does not encourage any progress, and there is no opportunity for progress like this. Why is the treatment provided only by a psychiatrist and psychologist and there are no other alternative treatments? Why is there no speech therapy? Because there are mentally disabled people with speech problems... this also costs money, but the budget is low. Also, some 18-year-old adoptees are required to reach a state of well-being without a mental health problem in order to receive information about their biological parents. This is the case at least in Israel. Some even hide this information from these adult children. This also shows the difference between the mentally disabled and ordinary people, and indicates a different attitude. Why is there no transportation for the mentally disabled who do not have a car? And all this is only if you work through a rehabilitation basket. Why is there no tailored aid that does not just push for development but also for increased aid? Why do some mentally disabled people go to a private psychiatrist, while others go to a psychiatrist from the cash register? Mr. Rubinshtein's conclusion: Should we see beyond the social stigma, and beyond the disability, we will be able to better include the mentally ill into society's ranks. Should we do it, they can contribute to society far better, using the benefit of their work. Thus, equal opportunity is imperative for the individual and collective, human potential.
