The Fourth Philosocom Day Speech

Greetings everyone! I am Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein, an Israeli philosopher and the manager of Philosocom.com
Today, on the 8th of April, the site was founded four years ago.
The inspiration to make this website was quite simple. A family member and I sat in a restaurant in 2019 and talked. It was that member's idea that I create a website for my content, in the hope that I will monetize it.
And so I did, but not for the sake of monetizing. It was for having my own domain, where no external moderator would have the authority to delete my words.
I am well aware that this enterprise came with a price: Internet users usually prefer to stay in their own social media apps, and venture less outside of them.
As a result, it creates an almost impossible competition. Will Philosocom ever be able to surpass Facebook, Twitter, and so on? Most likely not.
And I decided to create a website anyway with preservation in mind. That also includes the material of past and future contributors.
What is the aim? The aim is not only to ensure the existence of my findings, but also to promote philosophy. To help make the world a less shallow place. To make philosophy itself more relevant to the world at large, one reader at a time!
The term "Philosocom" is in fact a combination of philosophy and communication. Not every philosopher is a public figure. I intend to be both, so I will be able to expand my contribution across the globe.
Some people have told me a lot of horrible things regarding my writings. For the sake of the far more grateful readers, I will be ignoring their personal attacks as much as I can. Personal attacks are logically fallacious regardless!
Allow me to thank you all for choosing to spend your time reading my material. I am aware that you can do other things in your free time. The fact that many of you choose to continue is an indication that the niche of philosophy is still relevant and still in demand!
The quality of my articles has improved over the years. Some of you told me this yourselves. I will keep trying to improve in general to give you an even greater service.
I hope to see you all on the next anniversary of my work for you. The fifth anniversary! My aim is to reach a minimum of a century. I think I'm going in the right direction!
