- The Last Craftsman: On the Enduring Value of The Human Soul in an Age of Artificiality
(Background music) (Directory on AI) (Philosocom's Subcategory on Shallowness) (Philosocom's Directory on Beauty and Art) Into a New World An age of extinction is upon us. It is not the death of entire species, but the death of entire processes. In the bright, clean, and terrifyingly efficient dawn of the age of AI, the slow, difficult, and beautiful human art of forging meaning is quietly being replaced by the instant, effortless, and soulless act of automated generation. We are trading the craftsman for the replicator, the masterpiece for the product, and in doing so, we are losing the very thing that gives our creations their eternal value. In this new world, the true creator, AKA the craftsman is not just an artist; he is a relic, a shadow, the last practitioner of a dying and sacred craft. This age of AI promises a world without friction. With a simple prompt, countless people can create images of impossible beauty, write symphonies of perfect harmony, and produce texts of flawless fluency. This age offers us a universe of generated content, a boundless ocean of what has come to be known as "AI slop." It is a world without the sweat of hard work , without the frustration of a thousand failed attempts, without the gnawing ache of the void that has always been the true and necessary womb of all great art. This new creation is perfect, it is instant, and it is utterly, profoundly hollow. What Remains Unreplicated What the machine can never replicate, what is impossible to encode into an algorithm, is the beautiful and terrible alchemy of a human soul forged in the fires of a real and difficult life. I'd like to argue that, true art is not born from a dataset; it is born from utilized scars. It is born from passion . It is born from training. It is born from discipline. And finally, these are born from the desire to feel satisfied. AI may be the quick route to content, but it cannot replace the human need for satisfaction, which, in turn, leads to creation. These virtues are something AI can never truly replicate. What they produce is nothing more than a soulless form of the original human element. Without genuine human effort, combined into them, they are inferior, they are not authentic, they are mere imitations of the very data they were trained on. A meaningful idea does not spring from a simple prompt; it is painstakingly excavated from the hard rock of personal suffering and unique human qualia . A genuine expression of love is not merely generated; it is the rare and precious flower that grows only in the soil of a heart that has known both joy and profound loss. While a machine may arguably offer love , that love but an algorithmic process, meant to cater to your every need. And catering , catering necessitates fakeness, not honesty. The machine can mimic the form, but it can never possess the substance, for it has never paid the sacrificial price of the truth. The Rare Path of the Craftsman The age of the AI slop is the new and, perhaps, final battlefield for the human spirit. As the world becomes flooded with the easy generation of the artificial, the most valuable and sought-after commodity will not be flawlessness, but the very opposite. It will be the increasingly-rare mark of the human hand: the embraced flaw imperfection, the struggle, the visible trace of a real and imperfect soul that has wrestled with its own darkness to bring something true into the light. The work of the last craftsman is not just to create, but to preserve the very idea that a thing's value is measured not by its perfection, but by the weight of the human experience it carries within it. What was common in the past will be a rare commodity in the near future. As AI slop will further deteriorate the quality of content online, what will prevail as sought-after commodities are hidden gems of genuine human effort . Many people, tired with AI, will seek genuine human pieces of craftsmanship, as less and less people will produce them in the first place. That is, at least, what I predict that might be. This is why the solitary path of the true craftsman has become more necessary, and more lonely, than ever before. For the sake of quality, he or she must consciously reject the easy comforts and the instant gratifications of the new world. He or she must choose the slow, difficult, and often painful process of creation, not because it is efficient, but because it is raw, original , and honest. His or her solitude is not just a preference; it is his workshop in which original creations of craftsmanship are formed. Their solitude, then, becomes necessary quiet where they can hear the difficult and often contradictory voice of their own soul, free from the endless, shallow noise of a world that has forgotten the value of silence. The legacy of such a craftsman will be different from that of his predecessors. It will not be measured in the volume of his output or the popularity of their name. It will be measured in its authenticity. They are not just creating articles or art; they are creating what will be rare artifacts. Each piece is a core sample drilled from a single, unique , and irreplaceable human life. It will serve as evidence to the fact that a person lived, and felt, and fought, and from that difficult struggle, they made something that was genuine. Conclusion In the end, the ghost in the machine is not the intelligence of the AI, but the prevailing soul of the human who dares to create in its shadow . The last craftsman is a lonely and perhaps tragic figure, a force of contrast in a world that has chosen ease over effort. Yet, their work is a defiant and beautiful act of rebellion. They then become a lighthouse, standing against a rising tide of artificiality and fakeness, and their light is the proof that even in the darkest and most sterile of nights, the fire of a single human soul can still burn with a meaning that no machine will ever comprehend. The final, ironic victory of the last craftsman is that the very forces that seek to make him obsolete are the same forces that will one day make them a living legend, an enduring pillar in a world that has chosen easiness over mastery. In a world of infinite, soulless copies, the value of the singular, human original becomes infinite . Their work, in relation to such a world, remains not just a mere creation, but a final, defiant, and enduring evidence to what it once meant to be human.

The feeling of helplessness in adulthood is a reconstruction of the trauma. This article is a testimony of a victim of an unfortunate childhood. Mr. Svartgold explains how to escape the cycle of mistreatment by leaving the toxic environment and becoming independent. In the path of healing, breaking the silence about the misfortune and giving it its proper place is vital to overcoming the victim mentality. (Background music) Introduction Hello everyone. Today, I want to talk about victims. I will explain in my own easy words and give an example to the victims of how this is expressed and what the victims are. And how can philosophical insights treat it? How To Stop Being a Victim? A person who has been bullied. The root of this is from childhood. The situation makes her feel helpless and unable to act. This feeling is a reconstruction of the trauma. Case Study For example, if a girl was forced to keep a secret about her uncle's s**** assault from early childhood. Her parents beat her, blamed her for everything, and brainwashed her. And they a**** her in front of her sisters. In fact, in the example I present, she is just a girl. An innocent person. One who does not understand life and how to act in danger. For the parents do not provide her with a source of psychological safety. Feeling terror, fear, repressed anger, repressed depression . She can't talk to her parents about it. That girl learns to keep a terrible secret that affects her forever. And so, she will feel self-worthless, humiliated, disdainful, and confused, in which she, on the one hand, must survive in the cruel world. On the other hand, she is not taught boundaries. And her parents and sisters do not stand by her. You are probably familiar with the subject in schools. But in fact, bullying starts at home. In front of the family. To be truthful, it is usually the scapegoat for Azazel and the small family behind closed doors. Her victimization will manifest itself in self-hatred against herself. She will be afraid to succeed because if she grows up, her parents will be afraid that the secret will go out ASAP, which leaves that girl in a repressed depression. One, in which she is not allowed to express anger. Anger in such a situation is significant for mental health. She is not allowed to speak ill of her parents . And she must see her uncle every week. After all, he is part of the family. And her family stands by him and not by their daughter. On the other hand, her parents will say that they love her. Everything will be talk. It is essential to look at the actions. They will tell her that she is their home. But on the other hand, her mother told her it was a shame they didn't have an abortion before she was born. And behind her eyes, they will gossip about her to teachers, friends, and the extended family. And all to isolate her. That she will feel social isolation and feel that she is incapable of changing the harsh reality. And usually, yes, especially in childhood, you cannot change the truth. Usually, children don't run and tell what they're going through. The teachers don't see them as the same victims. Their parents humiliate them behind the scenes. And she feels alone in a dangerous world without knowing how to face this world. Without being able to understand her feelings because they won't take her for treatment. And without being able to express them in words. Since anything she says will be a threat to her parents. This impossible and uncontained situation causes her to explode. The same explosion continues in reconstructions even in her adulthood, even if she leaves her parents' house. Even if you go to them, she is still not normal because she lives an abnormal life. She felt stuck—a victim situation. She does not know what genuine kindness is. And she denies the evil of her parents to survive life. She does not have respect for herself because her soul was desecrated. She is not allowed to speak. And every word is checked. That girl, in her adulthood, felt invisible. Full of overwhelming and negative thoughts that are mercilessly thrown at her by her parents. Sometimes, it is also from her teacher and the children in her class. Since everything is restored to her, then other kids hurt her. Teachers do not see her pain. Because she learned to hide it , they did not help her. Some do see but don't want to interfere, and there are many. That girl in adulthood felt toxic emotions and was full of negativity and helplessness because, compared to others, she did not learn boundaries, and how to keep them. She was not a proper and individual person because her parents rummaged through her things to prevent her from telling the teachers. That self-value of hers was rejected. Her parents use silent treatments. To make her feel guilty and ashamed. I write all this because I know this girl. That there was such a girl. That's how she also got bullied at school. Usually, in schools, this is said and taught. But the root of it is silence. That's why I write about it. The same girl feels that she is separated from her friends at school. Because she is not allowed to tell, and that is how she is guilty. Her parents. And that uncle of hers who hurt her and continues to hurt her. She no longer has the strength to ask her parents, especially her mother, not to bring him home repeatedly. She feels the need to protect herself, but she does not have the mental power for that. She is one against many. And the majority effect, unfortunately, has an impact. Many don't want to understand that her parents hate her, even if they say they love her and care for her. When she is socially isolated, her parents start spreading nasty rumors about her. And take the truth of something she told them and make it look terrible. And they embarrass her in public. Or at home with the door closed. Usually, they threaten her behind closed doors. They spoke ill about her best friend and isolated her from any help. And excused it with the fact that she was a bad girl. They are not seeing who loves her, and that's how you will learn her body is theirs. They make hand gestures, fists, and rude gestures and blame her for everything. They buy her cheap clothes. And to her sisters, they purchased expensive clothes and spoke well about them. The sister took the side of the mother. She is disadvantaged because she is not like her sister. They deny the evil and what was done to her, claiming that she exaggerates. And that she has a mental illness. This is not right. That's how she goes to places like school, university, or work. To make others hate her, to shame her for past mistakes that are the ones who bullied her. In this situation, the same child is not equal to her parents. She is just a girl, while they are socially-significant. She is one of many. And that is the narrative of bullying -- of exploiting the weak intentionally. Her parents and acquaintances are experienced in humiliating her on the sly, and she is alone. They constantly tease her, create drama, threaten to cause harm, and cause damage. The Path to Recovery After recording a large part of the negative emotions that this girl went through , I want to tell you a secret: How is it possible to endure such an extreme situation of bullying? Any bullying is against a weaker individual. Of a different status. Other status. This is an opportunity to stand up to herself or many. What should you do to take care of it? It won't be easy. In such a situation, the girl is alone. And they won't always be able to contact the police because she is alone. In front of many, it takes a lot of mental strength, which she doesn't have. She must try to get out of the danger zone. Her parents' house is a dangerous place. To pass this challenge for a good, better life , she must already be an adult. She must first practice mindfulness and understand the mental pain caused to her. She must realize that it is not her fault. That she is not alone. That many more are silenced. And sign up for a support group of people like her. I recommend more than a psychologist, which is one on one. Since that girl thinks she deserves it. And so, it is in adulthood. Therefore, she must see women like her. Of course, there are also boys like her. They should go to a support group for such men. She must understand in her maturity that these people, even though they are her parents and her complex family who cooperated and teachers and acquaintances, harmed her and did not promote her in any way. They are not what they present and are not the best family and country to live in. She should stop distorting reality for herself with their excuses. And listen to her inner voice. She must understand that she deserves a chance to succeed. She deserves respect and appreciation for who she is and to be true to herself even if her parents call her selfish. Who "stood by herself". To understand that being against such people and cutting off an ill connection for her mental health, is crucial. And mental health is important above all. She must express anger and not allow an "accusing voice" to remain silent and let people hurt her. She must learn to set boundaries to protect herself as an individual. Separate her thoughts from them, too. It's theirs, not hers. And she must become financially independent . And to understand that they caused her harm, even if they were good to her too, sometimes it is not their true face behind closed doors. This is exceedingly difficult to do if you are entirely alone. Therefore, the importance of the group is a supreme value. It is enough for one person to help her escape. One person will believe in her and help her to succeed and move forward. She doesn't want it. But she was silent. Her acquaintances from a complex family also call her out. They take the parents' side and other people. Therefore, she must protect herself. Understand that it is worth it, just with the case of any person. She was wronged. She is aware of it. But in her adulthood, she is no longer helpless. She has a choice . She should know how to ask for help and take advantage of an opportunity if she finds someone to help her. She must earn enough money to support herself. The more she goes through bullying with more people, the more mentally she is hurt. Usually, such people will rule by stealing money and taking advantage of their target. She must understand that it will take time to recover if she leaves. But she is not alone. And being alone is better than exploitation and harm. She must learn to protect her interests. Understand that mental health is vital to her. Those who ignore that, exploit it, and pass information to those people are the problem. She must learn self-love even if her inner voice hates her because it sits on her self-worth. She must understand that with them, she cannot be authentic. And being authentic is essential for the soul. That group of people envied her. And caused the creation of a cooperative dependency to damage her freedom. She must understand that they are different from her. That's although she is modest and learned and programmed to talk about the bad, even though they isolated her and destroyed her relationships with friends. She cannot listen to them. She must ask herself what made her listen to them and stay in the toxic environment. If she doesn't have people with her, getting out of this situation will be very difficult. If she is with them, it will also be impossible to change that. Such people enjoyed her pain , even if they told her their intentions were pure. And even if they said they love her because she is their daughter. She must understand that she has reduced evil, by not staying in this vicious cycle. The abolition of evil in humanity . The reduction of corruption as if it had never been. It's the repression that got her stuck with them in the first place. And they are self-interested and do everything to destroy her. She must understand that now they spoke badly about a friend who loved her. They asked for details of conversations and talked to other people behind her back. It indicates hatred. Even if they tell her and others that she is the one who hates them , they are liars and the majority effect is not valid. Society somehow influences a lot and does everything by enabling them to "take care" of her problems. To "love" her. To pass information about her to others, whether state institutions or welfare, and therefore sabotage her independence as someone who is mentally injured . She must understand that some sharing is destructive, but good people exist. And you will surely know them, if you try. She must consider that there will be those whom she must leave because her parents and siblings have already made a smear campaign against her. She must believe in herself. And avoid agreeing to self-criticism in this case. Conclusion Understand that she is a solitary, weak individual, and there is a limit to the judgmental voice within her. For years, she neglected herself. Pay attention at the beginning of contact, especially to "red alarms", because she can't see either after a while and remains blind, uncritical in mind. She should express anger. And who silences her rage? It makes her hate herself and be angry with herself. And she needs to understand that. Anything like that destroys her emotional system. By expressing her distress and giving it its proper place and value, she will be able to overcome her victimized mentality. And we can understand what will become of it. And how to break away from these kinds of people w ho normalize and enable those who give such a mentality a place. This story is a true story. I don't want to mention names to preserve their integrity. Thank you. This will give you tools to deal with the victims through the story I wrote. And understand the mentality of victims better. - How To Prove Objective Meaning Through Ethics -- A Short Essay
(Background music) Ethics is the study of what should be and what shouldn't be, of what is proper and what is improper. Harm is, by definition, physical or mental damage. If things and beings can be harmed regardless of what we think about them, then actions have objective meaning, or, objective impact, function/ dysfunction on reality. Harm in other words is when something is used not only in a way it shouldn't be used, but also in a way that does not deserve its own application. While we may argue on certain things as abusive or otherwise, there are things that are expressions of harm which is independent of what we think about them: Slavery. Forced Marriage. Misuse of power in higher position. Etc. Number 1 and 2 are objectively abusive because they exploit weakness . The slave is harmed for his lack of resistance. The forced participant is abused by his or her lack of influence to make others respect their consent. Number 3 is expressed when you are not using the power you were given per your agreement with those you have power on. The slave does not deserve to be exploited for his weakness, because he has no power over his weakness over his captives. The forced bride/groom does not deserve to be exploited because influence is an indirect power that depends on the cooperation and compliance of those they cannot directly control. The power mis-user does not deserve to misuse his or her power because he had an agreement with those who gave them direct power in the first place. Even a dictator does not rule alone; they need enforcers. When meaning does not depend on our subjective experiences , it is objective. Our subjective experiences are irrelevant when it comes to many forms of abuse, when we can have objective knowledge of what abuse entails. Morality is objective in part, therefore, objective meaning exists. In practice, it means that slavery, forced marriage, and misuse of power are objectively immoral due to reasons that do not concern our subjective features (thoughts, feelings and so on). As in the case of number 3, if an agreement between you and someone you lend power to is breached, then no subjective quality can change the agreement that was already made between you and them. Should we teach students how to be moral, we could reduce the potential harm that they could cause when they grow up to be adults. And the reduction of harm is the moral thing to do. - How Life Is a Task (Short Monologue)
(Directory on Writing) (Philosocom Directory on Work) (Philosocom's Asceticism Directory) (Note: This is a special piece that will not be renovated to be kept in the present day, and will not be updated in information, in order to preserve some of the past. Past I can reflect on. I am not keen on forgetting the past. The past can help us forge a better future . More on my philosophy on the past has been written). (Background music) Many people see life as something to be desired, something that's there to be enjoyed. Listen to my short monologue, however... Look both ways. I find no joy in life . In fact, I haven't found joy in it for about a decade. For me, life isn't to be desired. Life is to be done. Completed. Accomplished. Fulfilled. It is done through hard work. Work builds not only products, but people. It can give much benefit for others, and helps successors obtain a better future than that of their predecessors/ancestors. These successors can ensure that the work will bring benefit even after a creator's death. It's the only reason I still choose to live. Because for me, life is just a task to be carried out. Nothing more. A mortal debt I wish to repay. I [ September 2023: no longer am, fortunately ] a prisoner of my own physical disability who gave up on this world for hermitage. Why would I live life voluntarily? Why would I depend myself on desire, and not on needs? The needs of myself, the needs of others? I instead force myself to live. I disciplined myself enough to disregard my own willpower, acting either way. The pain, the naturality of trauma. All have been haunting me for about 10-20 years. They hurt me in accordance. I yearn for the day when my task in this reality will finally come to an end. However, I refuse to hasten it. I want the resignation from life to come naturally. And only naturally. It's just pain and misery. As weird as it sounds to you. Asceticism changes you. I take great solace in the notion that we are not immortals . This means I have no reason to take my life and work lightly. Only eternal silence might come next. Until my mortal contract is done, I will leave myself no choice, but to live. And to me, living means work. I've been keeping a lot of people away by simply existing. Is it... vibrational energy ? My verdict of being ? Either way, I see little reason to expect any degree of affection from anyone, instead resorting to be a relentless altruist. I only know that there is work to be done. Work that I designate it to be such. And that I must work in order to justify my potential in the world. Love/affection are the nectars of life. They can make one feel truly alive. Beyond that, I feel... usually nothing. Silence from within. Like at a graveyard at night. Yet, I care not. I will live either way, by consent, if not by desire. I only felt alive very rarely. When it was, I was the happiest I had been in a whole decade. Yet, it's just an emotion for me. Not a purpose. It will all be over one day either way. I no longer find dread in it. In mortality. In the eternity fallacy. And the only thing I really seek doing is philosophy. And like with a real work shift, I just want to get this over with. Just, so I would be able to return back again. And again, and again. Beyond love, I want nothing more, nothing less other than my purpose as a writer to help others . I only live for these. I will live by consent and not by desire, and I will live either way. I am an asocial man who mainly cares for philosophy and little else. I have abandoned society a long time ago. When you have no love from this world, you instead seek respect as a substitute. When you live either way, you wouldn't need to depend yourself as much on externalities as a hedonist would. Religious people may claim that we all came here for a purpose. That we are here for a " tikkun ". And that it is the choice of a divine power, whether one is to live or to die. Seeing life as a task has the power to give you purpose, and purposefulness, often found in philosophy, can lead to hope . Have purpose, and life can be endured far better. Those who can't live without meaning , need hope.
- Love As a Choice -- The Relations Between Love and Discipline
(Philosocom's Directory of Choice and Decision) (Background music) Most of us think that love is a mere emotion, but what happens when that emotion fades? All we're left with is the choice of whether to stay or go away. Love is not only an emotion but also a choice that we make every day. Love, from that perspective, requires dedication, consistency, loyalty and self-discipline . When times are hard, it also requires bravery. Love, once more, proves that it has to do with virtue more than it has to do with the mere excitement of falling in love. When you fall in love, you are in the process of being grounded into reality. That reality is love. Falling in love isn't really or necessarily true love , because we, more often than not, fall in love with a version of a person we have in our minds. It's not necessarily the person that exist beyond the veil of our mind. That person is clouded with heavy, affiliation bias of love and roses. Falling in love stops when we are disillusioned from the version we had towards the person in question. We are then confronted with the question: Should we stay, or should we go away? When the emotion of love doesn't exist anymore, that exists is the choice of loving the person in front of us. Love, then, is not only a choice, but an action, a verb. And, to love the same person without change requires much self-discipline and strength that, unfortunately, not everyone has. This is why commitment plays a role in love. It's because our emotions aren't consistent -- but our choices can be. And to choose the same person to love, every single day, requires a great deal of commitment. The love ends when we stop having the discipline to press forward. Loving a person is like going to the gym, it's not always easy, and requires the discipline to do it occasionally. Make sure you're prepared to love the right person, because not everyone is worthy of such dedication. You could choose to love a certain person, only for them to dismiss you and break your heart . Not everyone is worthy of the commitment of love you're putting in. Thus, if to have discipline, then have discipline for a man or woman that would make you happy and satisfied, those who would make you want to improve yourself in the name of that relationship with them. Choose the wrong person, and you might be wasting your precious time and energies for them. Love, in the end, is a choice we make, and we should make sure the choice we make is a wise one. As such, we shouldn't always listen to our hearts . We should employ reason before choosing to love someone. Because, loving someone is not always reasonable, and the cost of that love might not necessarily be worth the effort. Why? Because love is also an investment we make. Of our time , of our resources. We need to make sure the person we are loving is the right one for us. Otherwise, what is the point of choosing to love him or her?

No amount of education can replace the importance of experience. What do you know better: Something you have read in a book, or. Something you have done? Beyond knowledge gained from experience, experiential also has to do with a person's abilities as well as their mindsets all being shaped by experience. My experiences are remembered through emotion, courtesy of bi-polar genetics. Years ago I used to do pizza deliveries. I would gain experience about driving on a particular road during certain hours. If I had a negative experience while driving a route I would get negative emotions about that road in the future. It is an amusing concept to ponder about a person literally holding an emotional grudge about someone . If anyone ever gives me a negative emotion that feeling will return the next time I see them. I realize now that those people aren’t the emotional problem. It is all in how I would be thinking about stuff. I think many things in life are impacted by our emotions. Our experiences can determine how we feel about all future similar experiences we will have. That is also the importance of experience. It goes beyond the physical impact the activity has. Think about it like building your tolerance to a particular emotion so that when you encounter it again you will emotionally react better. Most emotions are the result of going “oh my goodness, something has changed!” Is something really a problem or do you just think it is? When you feel emotions chemicals are being released into your body. Most negative emotional reactions are from either too much of the emotional chemical or not being familiar with a particular one. High intelligence is weird. I can ignore my emotions most of the time and when I feel them they feel really intense. Perhaps if I took more time to feel them in smaller amounts it would build a tolerance up to feeling them at higher levels in the future. Experience is the secret weapon which people often forget about. Always be in the mood to try new things. You never know in what other areas of life something might come in handy knowing how to do. Experiences teach us skills that no college degree will. Experiences are like the personality traits of you. They are human capital credits. Credits which you never will know when they will come in handy. We all remember learning a specific thing growing up. The reason why we remember it even as adults is that we have experience with it. Experience is like photographic memory. You don’t learn by reading about how to bake a cake. You learn by doing it as much as you can. Baking is an experience dependent market. Those skills matched with experience will turn someone into someone who will get repeat business. Experience is how we raise our human capital. Think of it in terms of a career. The more experience you have the more the company will value you. Learn experiences that add to your value as a person. Never lose sight of the importance of experience. More knowledge then a classroom setting and more valuable. Simply taking a class won’t make you a better person. Taking a class so you can learn how to have better experiences is what is important. You are looking for a good contractor. Do you want the guy who has a piece of paper saying he went to school for it or do you want the guy who has constructed 20 other buildings? Your brain is a beautiful thing if you take the time to learn to use it properly. If you don’t know something, simply go out and try. What’s the worst that will happen? A poorly done project holds the power for lifelong learning. My philosophy is if you want to learn the right way to do something don’t start off by trying to learn all the wrong ways to do it. Doing so will add more value to your understanding of why the right way is right. You can see someone else trying it and see they are doing something wrong and tell them exactly why. This leads to how experience can help improve people’s lives other than ourselves. How do you know which ways you don’t like your hair being cut if you’ve only ever tried one style? You learn your preferences through experiences. Experience is the source code to content material. Nobody wants to simply listen to someone explain something. No, they want to hear the person explain the experience they have with it. Experiences will tell people how to do things as well as add to your human capital value.

Kingsley and Co. "Defining Choice and Its Powers" is a comprehensive exploration of the concept of choice, examining it from multiple perspectives including philosophical, psychological, and practical aspects. The article delves into the nuances of choice beyond simple desire, discussing how choices can be made based on needs, perceptions, or even in opposition to one's desires. The article uses engaging case examples to ground the philosophical concepts in everyday reality, making the abstract ideas more accessible and providing practical applications for the reader. The article emphasizes the importance of mindset in the realm of choice, arguing that mental freedom is the ultimate form of liberty . By highlighting the power of our thoughts and perceptions, the author inspires readers to take control of their inner world, empowering them to face external challenges more effectively. The piece draws on various philosophical and psychological ideas, such as Viktor Frankl's example and concepts from asceticism and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The article is well-structured, with distinct parts that each focus on different aspects of choice. It brings up important considerations about the limits of power, the dangers of unrealistic ambitions , and the folly of striving for omnipotence. It challenges readers to reflect on their own desires and the importance of realistic aspirations, which can lead to healthier mental and emotional states. In conclusion, "Defining Choice and Its Powers" is a thoughtful and thorough examination of the philosophical and practical dimensions of choice, combining abstract thinking with real-world examples to engage readers in meaningful reflection on their own decision-making processes. (Background music) Every choice you make now will affect your future path and that of the entire collective. -- Mickey Eilon Part I: Choice: A Philosophical Exploration Choice is the ability to preserve or alter anything or anyone in accordance with our motives and preferences. Desire is not a necessary component for a choice to be made, because choices can be made regardless of one's desire, even if desire is indeed a major motive for our usual choices. Therefore, a choice can be made out of a need as well, real or merely perceived, or even be made despite an inner conflict of desires. In addition, choice is also a potential that we either have for a lifetime or for a smaller, more specific period of time. We can either pursue or avoid this potential, and the fact that we have this potential does not obligate us to actualize it. Likewise, we do not have to reproduce just because we can, and women do not have to be pregnant just because they have a womb. By the same token, people do not have to have intercourse just because they have the reproductive systems for it. Much, much of what we think is necessary, and much of our beliefs on reality and on ourselves, is but a choice we actively or passively make. It is like that, more than one might think. Given that our perception affects how we behave, think and feel, examining our perceptions and our personal philosophies is crucial to alter our conduct in this world, in a way that aligns with our hopes and dreams. Case Examples In Everyday Life Here are some examples of choices that we can make without desire: We can choose to eat healthy food even if we don't feel like it. We can choose to exercise even if we're compelled to find excuses. We can choose to study even if we don't feel like it, with a teacher or independently. We can choose to forgive someone even if we don't feel like it, or too hard for us to do so. We can choose to be kind to someone even if they're not kind to us. These are just a few examples of how we can make choices without desire. It is important to remember that we always have the power to choose, regardless of what our emotions tell us. We do not have to agree with our emotions , and not just our or others' perceptions. Part II: The Role of Power and Influence The less external or internal intervention there is while making a choice, the more independently you can choose and execute it, regardless of the choice's nature. Influence, while does not have a direct control over your decision-making methods, is a way to deter you from exerting your will more independently, more freely. Aspiring to make a choice while you cannot, either because of a disability or because of a powerful obstacle or more obstacles standing in your way, is an incompetent ambition. Given the importance of internal power, expressed in physical prowess and in the strength of tenacity, the incompetence of unrealistic ambitions can deteriorate, the more we work on said internal power. Such internal power can help you survive, and even prosper, despite the incompetence of others. As long as you are unable to surpass these forces and disabilities in any way and at any point in the future, making you a potential victim of suffering from an unfulfilled desire, and from the futility of those around you. Accept yourself when you lack the power to work towards living the life you want to live, and you might compromise your own wellbeing, ironically. Be too in despair to rebuild that life, should you fail maintaining it, and your wellbeing may again be compromised. The Folly of Striving for Omnipotence Power however doesn't make you invincible, no matter how much of it you have. An invincible power would make fantasies come true, despite their inability to be actualized. Aspiring to choose to live forever, for example, is not an ambition of liberty, but one of slavery. Slavery, to a mindset that can ultimately decrease your mental health through constant feelings of anxiety and fear, as expressed in megalomania. Thus, such ambitions are best discarded by focusing on what can indeed be chosen. On choosing, and aspiring, to be realistic. However, the more often we act like a genius would , the more we realize we are more capable than we think we are. Much of our power to choose, therefore, lies in our ability to be relentless, and to give up on giving up. Part III: The Power of Your Mind What can always be chosen is one's mindset. While you cannot fully determine others' mindsets, you can determine yours, regardless of your situation. Thus, the "ultimate freedom", the freedom where there is optimal variety of choice, does not lie within financial prosperity or a certain, desired social status. Rather, it lies within your mind. With a strong enough mind, you can grant yourself the gift of being able to live either way. Despite times of peace, despite times of war , despite times of a great success, and despite the times of that success reaching its final peak. Logically, you will never find any greater freedom than the one that lies within your ability to preserve and alter mindsets. Be able to choose the right mindset, and even the direst of realities can become far less insufferable. It was as seen in the example of Victor Frankl, and in the esoteric realm of asceticism. Therefore, the choice that we have over our current and potential mindsets should always be our top priority. Such a logical preference can spare us from much suffering when external events do not turn out the way we expect. Thinking is a verdict for us living beings, but the thoughts themselves can be of our own choosing. If we choose our thoughts, we will not change reality by itself, but we can necessarily change our perception and some portion of our general health. Part IV: The Value of Active, "Unnecessary" Effort Therefore, the power to choose, even things that are beyond our basic necessities, can often be seen as a necessity itself. A collective necessity, which is the survival and growth of not only the self, but of entire societies and organizations. Without the utilized power to choose, we wouldn't have had exerted our revolutionary potential , necessary for a better world, as well as innovations. What differs between machinery and "biological machinery" (AKA ourselves) is that human beings have the additional need to actualize themselves according to their best individual merits. This can be realized even after a day's work ends. Work is not only for the next paycheck, necessarily. Work happens when we actively perform for something to be improved or maintained. Case Example: The World of Communism and Oppression The Soviet communists, who believed one should receive a salary "each according to their needs", have ignored the importance of actualizing our merits as a need. This need, as described by Abraham Maslow, overly focuses itself on what? On the individual. However, given the logical interconnectivity of reality , this need is capable of making the whole world a better place, or vice versa. Such power can be the need to actualize ourselves, that it is necessary to prevent or reduce societal stagnation. Oppressive societies, such as the Galactic Empire, discarded this individual-transformative need as well. In turn, it resulted in growing corruption and to its eventual downfall. Extra Notes Here are some additional thoughts on the topic: Our thoughts are powerful. They can shape our experience of reality, both positively and negatively. We should strive to be realistic, as well as optimistic/ pro-happiness. This is the better mental approach, compared to being pessimistic and idealistic at the same time. Our thoughts play a significant role in the infrastructure that builds our decision-making powerbase. Not only our own tenacity, not only our material power, but also what many of us may dismiss as mere illusions of the mind. That is despite the realistic role of illusions. We can choose our thoughts. We can choose to focus on the positive or the negative. We can choose to be grateful or to be ungratefully entitled. The idea is to choose the thoughts that fit our ambitions. Our thoughts can affect our mental health. The better our mental health is (and health in general), the longer our own lifespan can be. We can choose to change our thoughts. If we are unhappy with our thoughts, we can choose to change them. There are many different ways to do this, such as therapy, meditation, and writing, imperative for the discovery of our mental lives. Philosophizing can also help. It is important to remember that we are not our thoughts. We are the observers of our thoughts, and we are those who choose their trajectories. We can choose to focus on the positive or the negative. We can choose to be grateful or to be resentful. We can choose to change our thoughts. We have the power to choose our own perception of reality, and by proxy, we can choose to make our decisions in ways that are more successful, leading us to live the life we want to live!
- How to Reduce Violence In Our World
(Background music) (Directory on Rectification and Help) The Origin of Violence Violence is a product of negative energy that is yet to be let out of our system. Violence can be expressed both physically and literally. Humans are containers of energy, both positive and negative. The more unchecked negative energy we have in our system, AKA the human body, the likelier we are to be violent. This negative energy can either be anger, frustration, rage, hatred and any other negative emotion that needs to be expressed. The role of energy is to be expressed. If we do not express that energy in some way, that energy builds up within us and results in violence. Any human being can be violent, and violence is part of human nature. Those who are more prone to feel anger and frustration are those likelier to express violent tendencies more often. The Impact of Violence The impact of violence can be seen both individually and collectively. Both individuals and collectives can be violent as a result of negative energy. In individuals it can be expressed in shouting and in hitting and in cursing, and in collectives it can be expressed in wars, mass protests, and as such the collective impact of violence is more severe than the individual level. The impact of violence can result in trauma, injury or even death. It is important to reduce the impact of violence by finding healthy outlets for our negative energies. Healthy Outlets: The Key to Reducing Violence A healthy outlet can be defined as any activity that allows the release of negative energy without causing violence. Violence is, basically, an unhealthy expression of negative energy, and a very harmful outlet. Healthy outlets can teach us that, first of all, violence is not the answer, and second of all, that our negative energy has legitimacy. Society teaches us that we should repress that negative energy, which is very unhealthy. The right solution instead is to find useful, creative or helpful ways to release that energy in a way that does not hurt anyone. That way, no one will be hurt, and the carrier of the negative energy will feel more satisfied, at the same time. Healthy outlets can range from video games to writing to exercise to creating art. It is the moral task of each and every individual to find a healthy way to release his or her negative energies in a way that do not hurt the world around them. The more people will release their negative energy in healthy ways, the less violent they will become. Case Example: My Writing As a writer, I have a lot of energies. One of the reasons I write a lot is because I seek to channel my immense energies in healthy ways, that contribute to a more rectified world. I live in solitude because I find the world too violent to partake, and have my own inner demons to handle, by writing. As a writer, I am constantly frustrated. I feel that my potential is a burden, and I seek all the time to be productive so I will feel some kind of satisfaction. But I am rarely satisfied, and that is why I prefer to write in solitude: To spare the world of my existence, and to contribute to existence in healthy ways that don't cause damage to it. As a very high-energies individual, I do my best to channel my energies in ways that do not hurt anyone. That is why I write so much. I have a lot to express. Conclusion If we want a healthy, less violent world, we need to apply our negative energies wisely, in ways that won't accidentally shoot us in the foot in the form of hurting others. Eventually, hurting others will hurt ourselves in the long run, and therefore in order to not damage our progress in whatever we're doing in life, we need to practice healthy outlets more often. As much as violence is tempting, it is one of the reasons the world isn't rectified, and why there is much suffering in it; suffering that can be reduced. Had we practiced channelling our negative energies in ways that won't hurt others, the world would've been a better place to live. Just imagine how many tackles and conflicts, both interpersonal and collective, would've been prevented if people channelled their negative energy in healthy ways. Violence is not the answer. Expressing our energies in healthy ways is how we can live in harmony with others and with ourselves.
- Love and Expression -- The Rubinshteinic Priority On Self Love
(Background music) "regret nothing that has ever resulted in present you, if you love yourself, and what you've become" -- John Duran A World Craving Connection -- How It Deludes Itself Do you know what I think the world lacks the most? It is love. Not romantic, marital, or patriotic love, but love for your fellow human beings. But most importantly, is the love for yourself. A resilent, rational self love. It is, so it seems, far easier to engage in violence, loathing, and intentional arrogance than it is to try to overcome any of these concepts, in the name of unity. We also seek power over others... only to still find ourselves, lonely at the top. To quote Mr. John Duran : "A true leader does not seek leadership but rejects it if possible, and only carries the burdens of commanding others if there is no better choice for the good of all" For no amount of connection, affection or attachment, can compensate working on ourselves, so we would become better versions of ourselves. No love, no escapism. No hedonism. No organization of any kind. If we think connections with others will compensate our inner voids, we will stupidly find ourselves disappointed, heartbreak after heartbreak . For, in the end, no matter whom comes with us, or stands in our way, the only company we have the most... is our own. Loneliness is a universal phenomenon, solvable only by the individual. It can truly be solved when he or she actually works to love themselves.... regardless of whether or not they are relevant or loved by anyone... Thinking otherwise, was my mistake. So, I will redeem my faulty ways by altruism . And I do not expect to be recognized for my efforts, any longer. I will... contribute, either way. Whether or not I'll be loved or deemed worthy, it matters not. I don't need your validation. I will manage myself, either way. I will work towards my purpose, no matter who would walk in my path, or refuse to cooperate. I will endure. It is vain to use anything as a justification for petty incitements, hate, and crimes against those who think differently than yourself. You are allowed to think differently. They are allowed to think differently. Anyone is allowed to lead their own lives the way they want to. To divide and conquer isn't a good method... as it keeps people under the illusion that conflict against others will ge them what they want... No. The love and appreciation we seek can be granted, not by opposing nor controlling others. Not even by wanting others to change for us. No. Both, at their most rational state, come from the inside. For we only have ourselves in this world to share life, the most. Others... are nothing more than mere travelers. And if we wish to be loved, we must love ourselves. We mustn't be weak. We mustn't be petty. We mustn't seek the mercy of others . No. We must nurture an inner strength within us. Whether or not others will love us, is only, and only, their own prerogative. We... best live either way. We must be self-propelled beacons, that may sometimes attract others, and sometimes do not. We better not blame others, most of all, on our own petty weaknesses. After all, it is our duty to work on them ourselves. Love requires effort, and of course, the same goes for self-love. That is the thing that is overlooked. The fact that you need to actively nurture it within yourself, towards the world, but most importantly towards yourself, is the only way it can eventually... turn natural. However, when you are permitted to feel and express yourself in any way you like, hate is a far easier tool in communication than love is. For when you love yourself for who you are, you become unhindered by the approval of others. You become stronger than them. For you don't even need them to feel anything about you. Then, very little can actually stand in your way. Ruthlessness is a virtue , because it allows you to disregard whatever needs to be disregarded, in the name of your success. And with love comes great confidence and appreciation in your abilities. Appreciation that does not depend on petty external approval. You do not need to be approved for who you are. You are who you are, either way. As democracies emerged, and dictatorships were seen as primitive and outdated, people were granted the sacred freedom to express themselves, without the fear of being either arrested, tortured, or killed. Love, if anything, is a most dangerous tool for those who are hungry for power. For they want you not to love yourself, and thus allow yourself to be more than your own limits. No. The power hungry want you to be in line, to be oppressed, and depraved of your humanity. They want to use you for their own gain, regardless of what you really feel. Love yourself too much for their own good, and you become a problem. All because you refuse to yield to the opression of the orthodox paths . The same paths that do not care for you. The same paths whose love for yourself matters not. Therefore, the expression of love -- of true love -- of unconditional love -- threatens societal structure. For societal structure is built to opress the individual and not nurture him or her. For discarding the nurture of our individuality, and its self-appreciation, independent of externalities.... the external world deserves to be discarded at large. For it does not really love us. The only being who can certainly love themselves, is ourselves. That will only occur when we express our love to ourselves. And that, is the key to reducing many, many of our agonies. For we think endless desires will fulfill them. Such expectations... are mere delusions. In a World of Thorns, Where Does Love Bloom? In the eyes of many others, who use us for their own gain, why should they care, to nurture love within our hearts, when they will live either way? It doesn't matter who you are—as long as people will choose apathy towards others, they might as wel be filled with hatred for each other, as if it's an eternal reality. Why... why should we enable that external reality, within our internal worlds? Why should even, depend our inner core, on such things, which are beyond our control? Some thrive in this environment, their blissful ignorance a shield, from the reality of their loneliness. Others are intimidated as their sensitivities too sharp for the constant friction of carelessness. And then there are those, perhaps few, who seek refuge in hermitage, withdrawing from the world's toxicity, for they know, and refuse, for it to be their own. For them external love... is unnecessary, found only in the pockets of opportunities. Pockets of genuine appreciation that exist between... very few individuals. How many of us... are willing to appreciate and admire someone, regardless of who they are, what they will do, and what they might become? Hehehe... If anything... all conditional love, if but a form of weakness. Of compensation. Of refusing to handle ourselves like ourselves deserve. For we better do it, and do it with love. As people become divided by their distinguished views, they fuel further hatred, further displeasure and further disorder. No one can stop their obsessive quest in the external world... for something they can fulfill within their own internal worlds. In a democratic framework, every person is entitled to feel and express whatever they want, regardless of the impact on others' hearts and minds. As such, people are allowed to not care. By not handling ourselves, and embracing the liberty that is the right of another to disregard us... we also are allowed to delude ourselves. Delude ourselves, that the disregard of another, should even matter to us, objectively. The greatest enemy of unitary love—the love for all human beings—is not hate, anger, or detesting, is the refusal for another to be who they are. The refusal to let them, be who they want to be. Be, who they think they should be. Much human suffering and toxicity... stems from wanting to change another, as a prerequisite for our own internal good. Insensitivity is a privilege, allowing one to rarely be insulted and to endure long periods of conflict with the world. Insensitivity is a shield that allows us to be who we want to be, regardless of external thought and validation (or lack thereof). And without a compelling reason to love ourselves, why should we even act according to our own genuine needs and desires ? We can choose not to hate ourselves. We can choose to understand that, despite being social to whatever extent, there exists a self beyond any collective framework. And that self deserves to be loved. And it can be loved, regardless of anyone, but your own approval of yourself.
- When Accidents Benefit The Victim -- Savant Syndrome Analysis (Featuring a Savant)
(Philosocom's Directory on Luck) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) Alex Mos's Synopsis Savant syndrome is a rare neurological condition in which an intellectual impairment makes a person highly gifted in specific areas. A severe head injury can cause savant syndrome, transforming the victim for the better. The anonymous man is an acquired savant, sharing in this article how Savant syndrome positively affected his intellectual capacity. According to him, being a Savant means developing hypersensitivity in different areas, including your own cognitive features. Introduction Savant syndrome is a rare, insufficiently-explained neurological condition that is caused by head injury. However, it has other forms of development as well ( some linked to autism ). It is an intellectual impairment that ironically makes a specific area/s within your intelligence become extremely gifted, compared to your other areas of your intellect. It is divided into two variations: One that is congenital (genetic or inborn), or can be acquired later in childhood, or even in adults. It is not clear how much of the global population is savant, and I am not sure if I myself am one, although I used to suspect it. Case Example An anonymous man who will be this article's case example, is an acquired savant. He also provided much insight for this article to be written. One day, he had a car accident in January 2022. To quote him in our discourse: I lost control and went off road and flipped 3 times where I ended up hanging upside down for over 30 minutes and suffered a stroke. The aftermath of that was a month long hospital stay and due to there having been alcohol in my system I got in trouble for it. I also lost my spleen while in the hospital, screwed my eye muscle up, still not back to 100% but close. I knowed a tooth out, temporarily damaging my jaw. Broke L1-L4. All and all best thing that could have happened to me. The "logical thing" to say that it's absurd to see such a horrible event as lofty. However, that would only be true in most cases. In some cases, this horrible injury can unlock something within you. Something that already exists deep inside, but sleeps without disturbance. For most of us, this vast cognitive potential will lay dormant for the rest of our lives, forever locked. Due to the lack of a unified theory regarding this rare syndrome, it is not quite known why such injuries transform a person for the better. However, acquired savant syndrome is proof of a concept called post-traumatic growth . It cancels the notion that all trauma leads to pure misfortune, and dismisses it as a generalization. As such, sufferers of past trauma might not necessarily need psychological treatment, when they have the inner potential within them, to transform for the better. Psychologists are there to solve our problems. However, misfortune does not necessarily lead to a greater misfortune, even if in many, if not most cases it does. We therefore should, in the name of truth, see events as more intricate than a mere dichotomy of positive and negative. Perhaps both positivity and negativity embedded in events should be embraced generally , not discarded or desired individually. After all, all past events lead to who we are today, and to what might become of us. The man told me how his giftedness affected him: Savant syndrome typically surfaces when someone has developmental problems yet is still extremely gifted in one faceset of intelligence. typically seen in music, art, and math. Mine sadly only have to do with intra and interpersonal areas; Kind of happenstance that I already had both. The remarkable thing was due to the sudden emergence of gains in intellectual capacity it actually gave my other intelligences more room to work with. They are in relation to the sensitivity expressed in autism. The brain injury expanded that sensitivity to include intelligence and even more emotion. Both were things I could never do before. Leads to something nobody ever thought was possible: Someone getting it with already higher intelligence. He continues: So some peculiar gifts I have noticed is the fact I can fully sense and discern intelligence, assuming I have access to their verbal and non verbal in person. . It's not that I'm a walking IQ test, though I can usually ball park into a pretty accurate range, but more so I can sense intellectual capacity. Due to autism my gifts are in relation to hypersensitivity Wherever that ability came from it is splinter as hell. Due to having such control over my own emotions I had them pretty suppressed in a physiological sense. This made me rely on cognitive empathy, which is nothing more than learned empathy that doesn't rely on emotions. Surprise my body now possesses the ability to translate that cognition and emotional empathy, and very bearable levels. I can actually tell exactly what people are feeling, extreme abstract cognitive features and again right now splinter. Would it be cheating if I became a therapist? From this we can conclude a very important, underrated insight: The same disorder affects people differently. And undoubtedly, different people that may become savants, will develop differently as a result. This is true not only in such psychological/developmental disorders but also in medical conditions as well. For example, I am asthmatic but it's hard to understand that as my asthma is silent. Post Publication Notes Finally, the anonymous man adds the following comments: Acquired Savant Syndrome is many things. Please be aware that most of what I am saying isn't based on anything that I learned. I discovered it all for myself. It is my efforts to see if I can't apply what I know to make a unified theory on it. This may also be hugely due to my intelligence which please be aware of its limitations. I may have a deep understanding of a few things but that does not mean I magically learned all the vocabulary to accompany that understanding. F irst and foremost. How am I able to do such amazing things? What nobody has been able to figure out about savant. It is a medical condition but not a bad one. Being Savant is simply having hypersensitivity to everything including yourself and your own cognitive features. The reason why nobody can see the difference is because they are assuming everyone's cognitive features are the same. Can a musical savant not be explained, using the idea that a person's cognitive feature relating to auditory processing might be different than other people, and all of a sudden they are super sensitive to it? It does not add to your intelligence, just simply makes you more sensitive to the cognitive gifts which your brain possesses. So it is not a sudden genius, it is a sudden expression of intelligence. The reason nobody can figure out why it is expressed so differently among people is because nobody included the idea of intelligence and genetics into it. All that people witness is very large amounts of intelligence directed at a certain thing. I can explain why. Every person's cognitive features are different as a result of how genetics structure them. Cognitive features are nothing more than how gray matter forms in the brain. They are ways in which your intelligence can express itself with. Why some people are more intellectually gifted in ways is only a result of how these features are formed. They have very little to do with the intelligence you have and more to do with tools which your intelligence has to work with. This is the reason why most people's IQ's are only around 100 . Their genetics simply didn't allow for more advanced cognitive features to form. Extra Material To finish this article and therefore conclude the induction of this intellect to my organization of authors, I will attempt at answering 4 of his questions to me: 1. If bi-polar is a mood disorder did I in sense "beat it" as far as a mental illness by having my emotions in check? 2. What are some "powers" of "magical thinking"? I'm just so used to it that it is just normal to me. 3. Is there a way to harness excitement? 4. If you could make any changes to this world, what would they be? No. 1: It is certainly possible to beat back bi-polar disorder. It can done by reducing stress and focusing on rest and sleep. No. 2: To quote Britannica : " Magical thinking , the belief that one’s ideas, thoughts, actions, words, or use of symbols can influence the course of events in the material world. Magical thinking presumes a causal link between one’s inner, personal experience and the external physical world." I have explained my thoughts when I disproved the law of attraction and questioned the arcane. No. 3: All emotions are energy and given that we have some degree of control over ourselves we can definitely harness excitement just like we can harness revenge and other emotions. A good way to do it is to understand that emotions are pawns. No. 4: If to truly quote Gandhi : “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.” Changing ourselves, getting greater authority in what we do, and leading by example, can influence the world through our own actions. To understand how I want to change the world, you need to know why I changed myself, and became dead inside.

He argues that genius emerges from the ability to use multiple quotients simultaneously, typically a blend of IQ and EQ. Genius involves creativity and effective utilization of diverse cognitive skills, not just high IQ . Mr. Lasher also discusses the hereditary nature of certain talents and suggests that mental illnesses can coexist with high intelligence . He believes anyone can cultivate genius by nurturing imagination and creativity, suggesting practical steps like imagining various uses for unfamiliar objects and recording personal experiences. There is a different expression of intelligence which most people are unaware of. Most people understand intelligence as a representation of IQ, intelligence quotient, and they understand EQ, emotional quotient, which is how well you handle your emotions . What people aren’t as aware of is SQ , social quotient , and XQ , experiential quotient. It is the different quotients which combined demonstrates a human's overall abilities. Social quotient is how well you perform in various social situations or in other words your social abilities. Experiential deals with a person learning through their experiences as well as knowing what to do with what they know. A person with high XQ can utilize their knowledge gained from experience to determine the paths to take in the future. You can view the four main quotients as expressions of intelligence. Where the idea of savant comes in, is all of a sudden being able to use one or more of the expressions. This is usually the result of the cognitive features a person has which is why savant skills are generally very broad. You enter the world of genius when you start to use multiple quotients at the same time. Typically a genius will be a combination of IQ and EQ. What happens when you are divergent and a little bit of them all? Why are people more interested in borderline individuals than actual geniuses? The thing which combines all different quotients is intelligence using each in order to express itself. You turn towards unique abilities when you discuss the semantics of distinctions in neuroanatomy. For instance, a person who processes sound differently might be drawn towards music. Every person’s brain is a little different, but generally, most people’s brains are seen as regular due to most people's genetics being the same. Intelligence is simply the ability to use what is available to you in an effective way. This means that intelligence is dependent upon availability of cognitive skills. It also has to do with being aware of said cognitive features. As most people do not possess, say, the cognitive features for increased sound processing, this would result in someone with the potential to be gifted in music to be born. Why music often runs in families? It could also have to do with other bodily functions. As vocal cords are also hereditary , it would make sense why children of musicians end up getting into music themselves. What separates highly intellectual people from geniuses? Genius can be both a noun and a verb. In the verb sense, I think everyone is capable of acting and thinking like a genius (If not a mastermind). I am now referring to it as a noun: People who don’t need to try and act like a genius because they are one. The simple act of them performing any action will result in their genius being expressed. Take this article for instance. I myself am writing this all in a few attempts. The only reason I need to reread what I wrote is to see what I have already said. Though most of this article was written on my first attempt, so this article should act as a representative to my own intelligence. So, what makes a highly intelligent person is typically someone who focuses solely on IQ . I don’t discredit Mensa-like individuals for their importance as we need people like this in the world. I just feel as though that is one club which has a narrow view of what intelligence is. What if our job was simply coming up with ideas which individuals with high IQ’s can determine how to utilize. I say high IQ’s because as far as gifted in concerned we need those borderline types to help translate us to the world. Mr. Tomasio does a good job of that for me. He is a very effective editor/"translator". He is like google translate for intelligence. Now, Let’s talk about what gifted actually means. Gifted is nothing more than being different from most people and it refers to people who have self actualized it and applied being different as a part of themselves. That is why being gifted isn’t limited to IQ. What, then, separates genius from gifted? I believe XQ represents the scale which separates highly intelligent from genius . Experiential intelligence is when you learn through experience. I can’t be told what to do or how to do it. Now I do what I have done in the past and liked while avoiding those things which I have done which have brought about negativity with them. Thus, XQ utilizes photographic memory as one aspect of it. I will almost always remember an experience I had which had positive emotions attached to it. Most people will admit a doctor is smart. Smart being nothing more than a noun to describe someone like a status symbol . Smart is about memorizing and using knowledge effectively. Between me having different expressions than most people I often was left out of the herd mentality. I’m a pandora’s box of various mental illnesses, yet most of them have symptoms which can get annoying so I choose to stay medicated to deal with some of the symptoms. My spelling became horrible and I occasionally have difficulty keeping all my own thoughts organized. But both things don’t fully impact me most of the time. Just occasionally have hiccups. I did have a point in bringing up mental illnesses: Through the happenstance of having the experiences that I had with the genetics that I have, I went out and experienced life nonetheless. Sadly, at the time I had been dealing with some neurological damage, I was unable to process any of my experiences. For those 20 years of neurological damage, I didn’t take time to process my experiences as they were happening or even after. I was always on to the next thing. This is the reason why I don’t construct problems in my own mind, meaning I don’t see things as problems ever. Is anything ever seriously a problem when you can imagine how to do anything with any particular thing? I exist in a world of possibilities. I’m learning the lesson of determining which possibility to pursue. I want to do them all but only just met someone, Mr. Tomasio, who is intelligent enough to figure out how to put my words into actions. I hope one day our work will diversify beyond articles. I believe the separation between gifted and intelligent is as simple as imagination. I am not saying every child is a genius. What I am saying is children are using their own brains like a genius does, by tapping into their creative sides and inventing whole worlds in their own minds. At what point do adults stop using their imaginations? Geniuses are good at imagining things in the right way. Though this does raise a good question: Is imagination what separates a highly intelligent person from a genius? What if the education system also included a part on utilizing one's imagination effectively? There is the secret to genius: A person with different cognitive features which can utilize creativity. I can thank a few parts of my genetics for being able to do just that. A test theory for you: Next time you come across something you are unfamiliar with, try and imagine all the things you can do with it. Don’t worry if your answers are right or wrong. Simply appreciate the creativity that you could have. What makes a genius is someone who leans more towards the right/correct side with their thoughts. I can imagine what is possible because my polymathy and experiential intelligence are able to use all my past knowledge to dictate where something can go. Actions speak louder than words is how it goes I believe. So, the advice I will give is this: if anyone wants to start thinking like a genius all they have to do is nurture their imagination. Imagination is a by-product of the brain. You nurture it by adding content to it for it to use. Genius thoughts don’t come from nowhere even though they possess the ability to use creativity to come up with possible solutions to things. I don’t regret any experience that I have had. My point to all this is to explain the importance of evaluating your experiences. After all, we can all act like we have polymathy by learning as much as possible . You never know when you can use it. Perhaps I would even recommend recording every experience you have. Think of it like blogging. This puts the experience out there and can cause open discussion to help you process each of them. We as humans should make processing experiences a group activity. It makes the experience real by making other people aware of it. Otherwise, what good are actions if nobody knows about them? That is the way the world moves and things "become real" . Sharing an experience makes it more objective which is the point of philosophy I believe: To make things more objective. I was never identified as a genius because my actions never reflected it. So, I spent my entire life unaware of it. Discovering it at age 35 has given me a first hand perspective of what it actually is: Genius is not a status symbol. It simply means that your brain processes things differently than most people. You process things through creative eyes. If you want to think like a genius, work on creative thinking . Anyone can learn to be a genius. However, it would involve changing a person's fundamentals which is not an easy task for most people. The thing which ultimately helped me learn control was golfing. Is it possible to be a savant in a sport? If so, then why savantism have to be limited to art or music? I get why it is primarily seen in those areas. If you had an explosion of creativity happen you probably would as well. As I did have intelligence to accompany the savant within me, I have decided to express it in the written word . I figured out the best way to talk about the savant and intelligence thing was to do it through my actions. Producing my content into an article seemed to be the best expression of intelligence which I could think of. I have some minor neurological damage when I speak. I get the occasional stutter which most people don’t place much value in because of how slow I must speak. My fingers on the other hand are not impacted with this problem, and can type without a stutter.
- What Clarity Actually Is: A Brief Examination (By Mr. Nathan Lasher)
(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Background music) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) Article Synopsis by Mr. C. Kingsley and Co. Mr. Nathan Lasher's article, "What Clarity Actually Is: A Brief Examination," is a thoughtful exploration of the concept of clarity , delving into both internal and external dimensions. Lasher's personal anecdotes, such as his own experiences with ADHD and the impact of medication on his clarity, add a genuine and relatable element to the discussion. The clear structure of the article, with distinct sections such as Introduction, Main Points, and Conclusion, aids in guiding readers through the arguments and insights. The article challenges readers to consider why adults often struggle with clarity compared to children , prompting deeper reflection on learning processes and cognitive habits formed over time. By differentiating between internal and external clarity, Lasher provides a comprehensive view of the concept, allowing readers to appreciate its multifaceted nature and relevance in various aspects of life. The inclusion of Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's notes adds depth to the discussion, offering alternative viewpoints and reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the article. Overall, Mr. Lasher's article is a commendable exploration of clarity, blending personal experiences with philosophical inquiries. Introduction Clarity, or the degree to which a person understands or has knowledge of something, is perhaps one of the most important concepts we have in this life. We are taught at a young age how to learn and gain knowledge. So, why have we as adults forgotten how to get clarity? Adults tend to look at something and go “Well I have no idea” and they have forgotten how to learn something new. Why is this so difficult for adults but so easy for children? This also relates to the fallacy of pseudo intellectuals believing that their level of understanding is absolute. It's basically a person believing that something hasn’t evolved past where their mind has taken it. Sidenotes I have very recently gained much clarity through simply taking the medicine I need. My ADHD, the inattentive kind, makes it very difficult for me to have clarity about very many things. Adderall I started retaking a few days ago has revealed to me what clarity really is. I’m hoping I can get Mr. Tomasio to collaborate on this article a bit. I feel like he might add some value through either linking up relatable content or sharing his insights. The idea of me being a polymath in reference to never having specialized in anything. However, I can still use every single thing I’ve learned about something, in the form of abstract thinking , as that knowledge is up there I am able to use it to understand other things. Main Points Clarity is nothing more than focus. Nothing will ever become clear unless you can spend some time focussing on it in efforts to better understand it. Clarity should be every person's objective in life. Look at humanity's need for clarity on what happens before and after life. This is the basis of most organized religions . It isn’t something I have ever cared to indulge fully into. After all, the afterlife is a matter of spirit . What practical use does it play in spectating after our physical life has been exhausted? As this singularity is not possible without your life here ending, why worry about where you are going to spend the afterlife, and focus on your actions in the present instead? Another way in which I recently started to experience clarity again, was thanks to taking my medicine . It allows my thoughts to not be so scrambled together. So, you must differentiate between internal and external clarity. Both require the attainment of knowledge to effectively process information enough for us to understand it. Internal clarity is about exercising your intrapersonal expression of intelligence. You must always seek to understand what is going on inside of yourself. This kind of clarity will help reveal a sort of non-duality reaction. The better you understand yourself the better you will see how you fit into this world . External clarity is very easy to gain now-a-days thanks to the internet. You can literally gain a higher level of understanding simply by making a quick Google search. The internet is an archive of almost everything in the world. I feel like people often forget this due to the bias they have towards thinking the more-toxic aspects take up the entirety of the internet or only using the internet for specific things. An everyday kind of habit to help your overall understanding of life would be to constantly notice everything around you. Do so and do a quick Google search on any random questions that might pop into your mind. Abstract cognition is a great tool to use because this is what accesses all previous material stored in your brain. What is 3x3? This question doesn’t require a calculator because somewhere in your brain is knowledge which lets you automatically solve for this. This is just the basis of what you can do with understanding. (Mr. Rubinshtein's Note: Our extent of perception goes as far as our understanding allows it. Questioning our thinking in its current form will allow us to work towards its expansion. As reward for our efforts, we can indeed get a greater understanding of reality, and understand its multi-layered form ). You might end up using that clarity and understanding on an everyday basis. I t can also attach to your memory bank, so that the next time you see a particular object, that specific object won't necessarily be important but it might raise questions at random. Your brain will be wondering because it is trying to gain clarity on something it doesn’t understand. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: Many of us do not, by default, seek a clearer understanding of reality. However, we can do it even on a frequent basis, once we are to break apart our habits , as a habit itself we can adopt. That includes our cognitive habits , whose recognition by ourselves requires internal clarity in the first place). Music might be one of the easiest ways to determine clarity. Look at any musician and how they play their instrument. It is very obvious that they have much clarity in response to music. A teacher to their students might seem like they have much clarity on the topic they are discussing. One might increase their own clarity by asking how the subject matter relates to something you know. You can measure the polymathy of a professor by seeing how well they can relate their subjects to other things. Conclusion Clarity is a learned act. It is impossible to gain clarity without first gaining knowledge. My clarity of vehicles is minor at best. It doesn’t mean, however I don’t understand how to drive one. I might increase my understanding by looking up how the various components within a vehicle work. I would achieve clarity by doing this. That is an example of external clarity. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: And of course, the example of internal clarity, is for Mr. Lasher to understand how to use the tools and expertise he has as a driver, to operate the car he is in, AKA, utilize himself to employ the bigger context to his will) We must learn to desire as a child does. Imagine wanting to seek it like you might've wanted when you were a boy or a girl. We will understand things better when we can imagine every potential that clarity leaves room for.
- Eccentric Realities -- How to Embrace Eccentric Minds (By Mr. Nathan Lasher, Co-Authored by Mr. T. Rubinshtein)
(Background Music) (Philosocom's Directory On Uniqueness) (Philosocom's Hidden Logic Systems Directory) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) Article Synopsis by Mr. E. Peter and Co. Eccentric Realities: How to Embrace Eccentric Minds is a thought-provoking article co-authored by Mr. Nathan Lasher and Mr. T.R. that explores the unique perspectives of eccentric individuals and their value to society. The article's engaging content encourages readers to view eccentricity as a valuable trait rather than a deviation from the norm. It successfully ties eccentricity to larger philosophical questions about individuality, creativity, and limiting norms, enhancing its intellectual appeal and resonates with readers interested in self-discovery and personal growth. The collaborative writing between Lasher and T.R. brings diverse insights , making the article richer and more nuanced. In conclusion, the article is intellectually stimulating and offers a fresh perspective on the topic of eccentricity. ******* "Is madness but a curse, or a gift of unusual awareness?" -- Mr. John Duran Part I: Unconventionality 101 (Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein) Eccentricity as a noun describes someone with unusual or odd behaviors, habits, or beliefs that set them apart from the norm. They might be seen as quirky, unconventional, and too bizarre for some people to hang around with. After all, people connect by being able to relate to each other. Eccentricity is often judged in relation to social norms. What's seen as eccentric in a small town might be perfectly normal in a big city filled with diverse populations. So yes, it can be somewhat relative, but there's usually a clear distinction from what's considered typical behavior. Eccentricity often manifests in specific areas of a person's life. An eccentric birdwatcher might have a very organized sock drawer, while a nihilistic philosopher would raise poodles , call all of them "Atman" and regard them as the true givers of empathy and compassion . It's not an all-encompassing characteristic, but rather a collection of quirks that make someone stand out. There's no one-size-fits-all recipe for eccentricity, and of course, no 2 eccentrics are necessarily alike just because of their own deviation from society. However, what they have in common is their willingness to embrace their individuality and interests, despite of criticism and judgement involved Here are some tips for eccentric folk: Pursue your passions: Dive deep into what excites you, regardless of how mainstream it is. Try to be wise about it, however. Express yourself: Don't be afraid to wear what you want, decorate your space how you like, and live by your own values. Use these values not only to be yourself but to navigate society. Use them both for your own good and others' good as a way to combat people's biases against you. Embrace curiosity: Keep learning and exploring new interests. There's a whole world of fascinating things outside the box! Use your unconventional thinking to survive in society. When you realize the conventionality fails you, you should consider developing alternative routes merely to survive in a mundane, orthodox world. Eccentrics can be a refreshing change from the ordinary. Here's how to navigate interactions: Be open-minded: Try to understand their perspective and appreciate their unique qualities. Universally, interactions require mutual understanding no matter who you are. Apply self-doubt to be able to distinguish between your perceived reality, and concrete reality. Remember that you don't only see with your eyes, but also with your heart and mind. Seeing reality for what it is might be far harder than what you might think. Respect their boundaries: Not everyone enjoys constant attention. Assess how much you want to engage with their eccentricities. Consider not only them but yourself as well. Strive for equity in your judgement. A biased judgement is very much inaccurate. Biased by our emotions most specifically. Perhaps the person before you can be trusted, despite their eccentricity? It is far more of an individual case especially when it comes to irregular folk who live beyond traditional and contemporary labels. Judge wisely, not emotionally. Also, realize you might not know them like you think you do. Communicate clearly: If something is bothering you, address it directly and respectfully. Obviously eccentric are humans too, and sometimes they are eccentric specifically because they understand more than the average person, not necessarily the other way around. You can even find people in lower social status, understanding more than people whom are regarded as figures of authority. Remember that perceived social status, related to luxury as well, is also something that ruins your accurate examination of those you interact with. You can find some homeless people being ingenious folk, understanding reality with greater clarity in their own way. Consider how your own misconceptions, not only that of other people, prevent you from seeing reality more clearly. Clarity is required in understanding in order to communicate clearly. It's not only a matter of conveying the message effectively, but also assessing your own knowledge or lack of it. Extra notes: Find your tribe : Surround yourself with people who appreciate your unique qualities. People who deem them a great addition to their lives, not people who would desire to shame you for being you. Develop social skills: While you don't have to conform, understanding social cues can help navigate situations and reduce rejection (and trauma) . Again, just learn to use your unique way of understanding to your advantage. I understand society by examining philosophy , so I literally compel myself to philosophize all the time as a way to understand society. The fact it works for me doesn't mean it will work for you, and that's fine. To navigate society successfully, it is beneficial that you discover yourself! Be kind and compassionate: Eccentricity shouldn't come at the expense of being respectful. Respect is how connections are preserved and even cherished. Part II: Understanding Eccentricity (Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein) As previously explained, the term "eccentric" is subjective and depends on what's considered "normal." Unconventional or non-standard might be more fitting descriptions, as they help us understand how relative these terms are. The "center" of society can be relative and changing as well, for example, by people with ulterior motives. While eccentricity can sometimes stem from mental health issues, it can also be a "natural" outcome of neurodivergent thinking , living in a world that rejects them. It's a verdict of being that turns one into a social risk, as you are prevented by society to grow beyond your current status due to labeling, and unwillingness to understand beyond the (sometimes) irrational feelings of intimidation from what might be regarded as alien. With the lack of critical thinking, the extraordinary is rejected as "insane", with their intellect posing a perceived social threat on others. People with neurodivergence see and experience the world differently. Our utter lack of being able to see reality beyond our perception , can easily compromise the potential of extraordinary folk, capable of contributing much to humanity. This in turn leads to unique perspectives and experiences, irrationally traumatic as well due to the failure of the eccentric communicating themselves successfully to society, and due to society's failure to understand beyond labels and patterns . It merely seems that these people are typical, even when their uniqueness is recognized. However, recognition requires depth beyond the surface level. Many philosophers' unique perspective on reality might actually stem from their eccentricity. Philosophers like Diogenes , like Nietzsche and even Socrates , all were eccentric and their philosophies couldn't come into fruition without their unique experience of reality. Then, why bother rejecting the eccentric , or being intimidated by them , when they can offer much benefit and insight for the greater good of humanity? Why condemn the very minds which can refresh and expand our understanding? Only through greater inclusion, after all, we can optimize many aspects of our lives: The eccentric shouldn't be rejected from job applications at times where their contribution can surpass conventional staff who conform more easily. In philosophy, inclusion of many minds is imperative for our quest for the truth. By including the eccentric in society, we can preserve social harmony with greater health. By comparison, oppression of people and of minorities is not morally healthy to maintain general order. To understand eccentric people, we need to be open enough, both in our minds and hearts, to receive them, and understand that it is often for the greater good. People should be rejected when they pose a genuine threat, like those who prefer to murder. Those are the people who deserve it. Understanding that not every eccentric man or woman is a bloodthirsty predator can help us integrate them better into society, and better enjoy what they have to offer, which is often plentiful. Part III: My Encounter with the Extraordinary (Mr. Nathan Lasher) My biggest personal transformation involved a shift in how I perceived intelligence . It's not just book smarts. Creativity is a key aspect that science struggles to explain. My own brand of intelligence is highly creative, and I believe there's a point where we simply appreciate these gifts without over-analyzing their origins. My journey wasn't always smooth. Brain injuries left my consciousness trapped in a limited area of my brain for nearly two decades. A subsequent injury triggered a "release," and I believe my consciousness used an unconventional neural pathway to escape the damaged area . This experience, fueled by substance use which stimulated different brain regions, marks the vast potential of unconventional approaches to understanding reality. Sharing such stories can be challenging. They can be unfortunately misunderstood as irrational emotional outbursts or even bipolar delusions . However, this experience solidified my belief that consciousness has a source, and that intelligence might be more profound than we understand. Perhaps the search for intelligence's essence lies not just in science, but also in philosophy and religion, similar to humanity's quest to understand the soul. Part IV: Embracing Your Eccentricity (Mr. Nathan Lasher) How my life went thus far is not only eccentric but also a good evidence to the power of neuroplasticity . My brain literally reorganized itself! While some might find this unbelievable, the power of the mind is greater than we might think. And it deserves the recognition of qualified professionals, too. Ultimately, the journey was a 20-year odyssey that led me back to a healthy, functioning brain. Another layer of eccentricity comes from my bipolarity, primarily manifesting as hyperthymia, a state of persistent good mood and heightened mental performance. While some aspects of mania can be beautiful, the condition presents challenges most people can't grasp. My lifelong exposure to hyperthymia allows me to process manic episodes differently, finding clarity amidst the intensity. I wear my strangeness as a piece of armor. It’s what makes me the person I am. Don’t ever be afraid to make your strangeness a part of you. Why would you want to mask it and be like everyone else?

Mr. Nathan Lasher's article "The Beauty of Mind and Mania — Looking at Things a Different Way" is a unique and introspective narrative that explores mania through a personal lens. This unconventional approach captures attention and helps readers gain insight into mania and cyclothymia in a way that clinical explanations alone often do not. Strengths of the article include authenticity and personal voice, creative expression and conceptual exploration, encouraging an alternative perspective on mental health , and philosophical connections. The article's candid reflections allow readers to feel connected to his journey, providing a relatable entry point for those experiencing mental health challenges. The article also encourages an alternative perspective on mental health by considering the potential beauty of heightened energy and creativity that mania can sometimes bring. This reframing could be empowering for individuals experiencing mania by encouraging self-acceptance and showing that mental health conditions do not necessarily detract from one's humanity or value. In conclusion, Mr. Lasher's article stands out for its originality, raw introspection, and philosophical musings on a complex mental health condition. His ability to turn personal experiences into a narrative of self-understanding and acceptance resonates deeply, challenging the stigma often associated with mental health issues and opening up a conversation about individuality, intelligence, and acceptance. (Philosocom's Directory on Beauty and Art) ***************************** Part I: The Intuitive Awfulness of Awkward Ignorance I would begin by stating I do understand the complexities of mania . My experiences might be unique to myself alone. My intent is a wishful thinking approach and hope that something about myself can be translated to another person. I have often joked about feeling like Pandora’s box, full of wonderful and terrifying things. To ignore one aspect of "the box" within me, would be to ignore one of the very things which fuels my mania. Mania can be very terrifying if you don’t actually understand what it is. So, my desire is to express what it means to me in hopes that it might be able to be translated to other people. The Energetic Diversity of (Minor) Disorderly Expressions First off it should be noted that mania can be expressed in different ways . Typical full bi-polar is the most common expression of it. The basis of such things ultimately boils down to an individual's psychological response to the mania. The worse the response the more mania that is seen, typically, I’m assuming. I might occasionally do that from time to time. My reasoning for doing it is simple. I might be very intellectually gifted but that part isn’t as relevant as the fact that I am also only human. My body works very similarly to other peoples with minor alterations. Part II: Mania Made Me My personal expression of bi-polar is a mild form of manic bi-polar . So gently expressed it actually took me taking my mania to a whole new level for it to correlate to an equal depressive state. It was experiencing it severely enough that I actually noticed. Originally I believe this was only a drug related expression as I had only ever noticed it from taking a mood stabilizer. What’s natural about always being in a good mood and all of a sudden taking something which forces that away? So much to my doctor's dismay, I decided to go off the medication. It was experiencing this more severely which made me realize some of the symptoms are things I had experienced periodically in the past. I’ll take a minute, momentarily, to simply tell you what the correct diagnosis is for myself. I didn't even go to medical school so I can only thank some acquired savant syndrome for introducing me to hypersensitivity . I have a sensitivity at such a level I instantly understood my bi-polar without knowing the correct words to use. A less fun fact about what you get when you see raw intelligence without the knowledge to support it. For lack of a better term, I was "stupid intelligent". (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: It is possible to be both intelligent and stupid at the same time as intelligence differs from wisdom. An intelligent person is stupid when he or she is not intellectually equipped for a certain situation. No Brain, No Gain! Arguably, it could serve as the reason for many intelligent people, including myself, to fail at being part of general society -- we fail to apply our eccentricity in a way that won't get us rejected by it. On the other hand, the wise fool knows exactly what they are doing -- they misapply themselves in their ideals). As intelligence does play a real big part in the way I experience mania I can’t exactly talk about mania while ignoring that fact. I just hope that what my intelligence has allowed me to do can be used to help some other people. I have to think that having cyclothymia might be similar to how other people experience it. Cyclothymia is considered a milder version of bi-polar. However, what a lot of sources don’t specify is that it can be any milder version of bi-polar. This includes the mild manic bi-polar kind. My depression , as I am so positive, never gets beyond minor symptoms from it mixing with mania. A Successfully "Simple" Turbulent Translation It mostly just translates to being mildly irritable and not being able to get comfortable in all but a few random in the moment positions. At least I can understand why my thoughts never went straight to depression when I’d experience either symptom. It really was mixed because I could be excited and gloomy all at the same time. It most definitely caused changes in my entire temperament. So, I most definitely have a very mild case of manic bi-polar. I however never touch the manic or even naturally hit the hypomanic qualifications part, due to my brain knowing how to process the mania. Part III: The Wonder and Beauty of (Some) Weird Beans It has led to an interesting concept, should psychiatrists be trying to stop the mania or simply lowering it to a more manageable level.... Once you understand what mania is and how to get more of it or stop it at any given point it becomes a rather beautiful thing. I have to say even my cyclothymia is mild. The closest to hypomanic I’ll get is occasionally not being able to mask it in my voice, or words if I am typing. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: Mr. Lasher is correct, as there is a link, according to research, between the bipolar disorder spectrum and creativity. Also, to quote Aristotle: "There is no great genius without some touch of madness" ). To Handle This Responsibly (Unlike Politicians) With me it has only ever been the result of one emotion in particular. For me the closest to a mood disorder it gets is the impact which excitement has on me. A particular fun emotion when you mix it with intelligence and ADHD. What actually caused my most severe episode was jumping around from exciting thing to exciting thing. So if one of the most common parts of mania is happiness then why would we want to get rid of that. Shouldn’t we learn to responsibly use it? I realize the danger of giving in that particular trigger, excitement. Perhaps the only one that I have. Most of the time I don’t feel much emotion beyond a mild feeling of them. I have learned to control how many neurotransmitters are released into my body at any given point as far as the emotional kind. I also believe it was unknowingly learning to mask bi-polar symptoms which actually taught me to control it. I can make myself feel more emotional and have actual mania heard in my voice and a few meditative moments later and it is gone. Part IV: Blindlessly Taming the Beast In my case isn’t masking and controlling the same thing? Masking typically relates, in psychology, to one who is afflicted with some sort of psychotic condition and will cover up the symptoms so that other people aren’t aware of them . If mania is a symptom of bi-polar, who ever thought it wasn’t something we could learn to control? When I was younger I discovered quickly people don’t take kindly to the mania, so I learned to shut that part of myself off. I’m the result of negative reinforcement, as adults were primarily the ones who had an issue with the mania. I can’t always control feeling the mania. However, once I do feel it, I have the most stable experience with it in the world , again I am assuming. The part which I have discovered that I hope can lead to some good is where I actually feel mania returning to when I force myself not to feel it as much. (Yes, I am implying mania might affect the brain but perhaps due to nothing in the brain itself. Neurotransmitters in the blood perhaps). When I stop feeling that mania I can feel the source where it is coming from. Has anyone ever considered bi-polar was a heart disease? Bold statement, I know. but it’s a result of me trying to understand my own condition better. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: It is unclear why there is the connection between BD and heart disease, but that connection exists nonetheless . The philosophical, AKA, universalized explanation for such connections, relates to the philosophy of the mind, where our mental dimension affects our bodies as well. And as you can tell, the relations between mental health and physical health are not entirely clear, although a body of knowledge about it exists and develops over time. This indicates that absolute knowledge, or omniscience, is not the only degree of necessary knowledge to solve our problems. In this case, we can already learn to promote a positive connection between mind and body regardless ). Sorting The Sonic Springs of The Savant Again, I only have the savant syndrome, acquired by my accident, to give credit too for me being able to do this. Savantism, as I experience it, really isn’t anything other than hypersensitivity to what is there. It's a product of neurological brain damage. So the fact I "understand it all" isn’t the result of anything I learned in a class but, rather, me trying to find words to explain myself with, to deliver what I already seem to know. The only word I can find to describe myself as I learn to embrace every part of me is eccentric. And I don’t mean that in a famous person kind of way. I mean that simply my way of thinking is not normal and I’m ok with that. Mania with all the rest might be why I’m eccentric but it is my desire now to learn how to best express those eccentricities. Mania is definitely the most driving factor in regards to that. I can always take my mania higher, but usually it is seen more as a temperament disorder. My entire baseline and temperament will shift with my mood changes. The problem with me has never been moods rising and falling far from it. Part V: Discarding Shame -- All Sorts of Shameless Solutions! It also mainly affects my energy levels. I can deal with the mania state. Higher levels are no different than lower levels once you understand them. To me, all mania means is creative thinking and a more positive energetic level which I enjoy existing in. (Mr. Rubinshtein's note: In the name of understanding reality better, we must question traditional forms of thinking, so we would open ourselves to new perspectives, which might be more true than their previous counterparts. From what we can learn from Mr. Lasher is that people with mental health problems/deviations shouldn't necessarily be ashamed of these , when in reality it can help them get ahead in life, be more creative, and look at things in new ways. As the head of Philosocom, I purposefully look for refreshing perspectives such as those acquired by Mr. Lasher's eccentric thinking). So, to whoever reads this, I only have one desire: I hope that someone can correlate mania to the heart and use it to help other people. I believe my whole purpose in curing anything is to simply share my experiences and intelligence with the world as much as possible and let people who are actually educated on the matter find good use of what I know. A Final Fortress of Non-Nihilistic Nuggets I’ll just leave the site's readers with one nugget of wisdom I have. You control mania by controlling your heart rate and breathing . Assuming what I said was more intelligent than crack pot please at least think about what I am saying . Could mania be nothing more than too many neurotransmitters being sent from the heart at the same time? My idea for a better fix to bi-polar might be to utilize a pacemaker of sorts to help control heart rate. As mania speeds this up and depression slows this down does it not make sense that they both come from the same place. Would better explain how mixed episodes are possible. If the heart were to issue mania and depression at the same time into your blood and your blood passes through your brain so is it too far of a leap to consider it is a heart related issue. As everyone’s heart rates are different does this not explain why bi-polar is seen in so many different ways. Or why any given thing is seen so differently. Different hearts and neurological features. As I stated near the beginning I am not a doctor and my intelligence is all I have to go on. I just hope that intelligence means something. I especially like using it towards things I am not familiar with, sometimes. My desire, once again, is to simply get you to think about things in a different way.
- Chronic Chronicles -- Exploring the Metaphysical Entity Within the Brain (By Mr.
To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Subcategory On Memory, Nostalgia and the Unconscious) (Philosocom's Directory on Illusions) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) (Background music) Introduction: The Enigma of Awareness These are my... Chronic Chronicles... enjoy. A fundamental definition of awareness, is the act of physically surveying one's surroundings, extending one's consciousness beyond the confines of the body through the agency of the eyes. This is analogous to any sensory organ. All are designed to furnish us with the most comprehensive awareness possible. What distinguishes awareness is its origin. I personally believe that no one has yet been able to definitively state, "I underwent a cerebral experience that revealed the exact source of awareness." The consciousness is nothing more than a metaphysical entity residing within our brains. Moreover, there is a specific locus from which it emanates. Part I: The Injuries of Enlightenment Throughout my life, my brain has endured several injuries, one of which damaged a primary neural pathway utilized by the conscious mind for a unique progression . As a result of this damage, my conscious mind became confined to a smaller region of the brain. The only discernible consequence was a reduction in cognitive space available for intellectual pursuits. The conscious mind is designed to have access to the entire brain for unrestricted movement. I was deprived of the freedom of thought, and my intellectual capacity was diminished, as the mind requires extensive space to function optimally. The last traumatic brain injury I sustained primarily damaged the area of the brain where my conscious mind had been residing. This, coupled with severe working memory complications (which fortunately resolved as my brain returned to normal functioning), caused my conscious mind to resist occupying the damaged region. Lessons from the Injured Qualia This was the most extraordinary experience I have ever had. Focus governs the direction of the conscious mind. Therefore, it was my focus that compelled it to traverse a smaller neural pathway. In doing so, my entire existence was compressed into a minuscule region of the brain. I could feel something moving in the direction of my focus. Moreover, due to this entity emitting pure energy , known as awareness, I could perceive the pure energy of awareness emanating from it, which made me awake of the smaller path it was utilizing. I felt something diminutive emitting pure awareness. Upon exiting the smaller pathway, I experienced immediate relief, as if my brain had been forced through a cake icing bag and had finally emerged. The lesson here is that the conscious mind is a metaphysical entity within our brains. It is the source of awareness. It utilized a smaller neural pathway to escape the damaged area and reach the stimulated regions. Part III: The Intelligence of the Soul Needless to say, I can also attest to intelligence being merely a characteristic of the conscious mind and its capacity for understanding . This also underscores the fact that intelligence originates from the conscious mind, as it is the subconscious mind that interprets our genetic code and performs all the bodily processes necessary for survival. So, the next time you doubt your intelligence , remember that it is your intelligence that keeps you alive, making you at least that smart. Intelligence can be considered the ability of living beings to comprehend. It is what makes sense of all the data stored in the brain. Even the concept of thought would not exist without intelligence. One would need to have learned and know how to use their native language in order to formulate a sentence. Memory is akin to the hard drive of the brain, while intelligence is like its central processing unit, directing "the computer" to access the required data. Without intelligence, human beings would cease to exist. In reality, intelligence is a characteristic of the soul, which is immutable, meaning you are born with the intelligence you will have. Intelligence can be thought of as the manner in which the brain functions. A hard drive is merely a hard drive unless there is another device instructing it what to do. The Nature of Consciousness Consciousness is its own metaphysical entity within our brains. It is what makes you aware of your internal organs and gives you the ability to control (some of) them. All sensory organs are essentially devices that process sensory data and enhance our awareness. We are born with the appropriate equipment to be aware of all sensory data in existence. Even when considering the possibility of multiple dimensions, we would observe the same phenomenon: sensory data that we lack the proper organic machinery to process or interpret. Human beings need not concern themselves with things that cannot interact with them. Instead, they should focus on understanding that personality is nothing more than an external manifestation of their soul. How you choose to express yourself is a reflection of who you are. The conscious mind resides within the brain. It is nothing more than pure awareness, conveyed through an energy it emits. It is a very potent energy. This makes me wonder if there is a way to artificially transfer consciousness to a third party in the event of a failing body. Part IV: Consciousness and its The Moral Implications This raises numerous moral questions, such as what would happen to our bodies if our souls were not present (AKA, a "Philosophical Zombie") . Can a conscious mind leave a body without killing it? After all, the subconscious mind is the lightning-fast network that the conscious mind utilizes to keep the body functioning properly. It is the entity that gives life to the body and utilizes the information stored in the brain. Without a soul, we would be mere machinery operating without purpose . Life is all about personal growth, which we achieve through our actions, the most straightforward representation of who we are as individuals. Our actions define who we are as people. Intelligence enables us to live our lives to the fullest. Do our actions reflect who we truly are? No one can force you to be someone you don't want to be. Free will allows us to decide who we want to be.
- What Sound Does a Rabbit Make? Communication Guide for Geniuses (Mr. N. Lasher)
(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Philosocom's Directory On the Intellect) (Philosocom's Subcategory Directory On Communication) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) Language is bigger on the inside. -- Mark Bloom (Background music) Communication Guide to Geniuses: Introduction I exist in a sea of endless content which makes prioritizing it quite difficult . Yet, I choose to return for the sake of helping to make this world a far better place than it is... A place where people like myself, can be heard, accepted, and learned from. In this article yet again about myself, we arrive at the question of genius. Am I smart? Am I pseudo intellectual, or am I under some profound bi-polar half-delusion? Each aspect is a distinct possibility in their own right (and not just distinct!). See, I’m hexed with the awareness of how much stuff there is to know... And, I realize how very little I know in retrospect, at the same time! I was recently made aware that I have a really high hubris. It remains a challenge to not have that when most of what you say is brilliant. After all, how can you expect to distinguish between what I say, and myself, when you might be influenced by ad-hominem bias? Well, I DO, speak with confidence with a tiny realization that my intent is only to create as much content as possible. I am quite inspired by Mr. Tomasio's relentless advance after all! Of Rabbits and Men So, what sound does a rabbit make? There is an example of my intellectual curiosity. It derives from a life realization that I ask many questions which nobody, or what seems like nobody, has an answer to. The education system creates drones which follow text to understand things. We have long lost our ability to be creative. How can we be creative when we are taught to be drones? Are drones supposed to be creative? No! Are HUMANS, supposed to be drones? NO! It is rare, as in the case of George Lucas, that a person moves past this stereotype. Nobody has the ability to think for themselves and most of their life is scripted endeavors, as if their life was a plain old RPG . I don't see this as a good way to live life! So I ask you again, what sound does a rabbit make? I imagine the answer to this question might be a soft noise which is hard to hear.... So much like the rabbit I am throwing content out there that nobody can hear, into the great philosophical underground hole of sage wisdom that is the Philosocom Article Empire! My content turns into a dusty book on a library shelf which nobody ends up reading. So much like the rabbit I say things which most people don’t hear. Why would they hear it in the first place? Why would they want to understand the world around them when they have other things to do, other than understanding reality on a very profound level? I usher in my polymathy to realize I want to take this article in multiple directions... I could research rabbits and figure out what sound they actually make... but why should I do that? The imagery that they have tiny voices is the point I am trying to arrive at. Much like the rabbit in my instance, I could be saying amazing and brilliant things but they remain unheard by the masses. Communication Determination My philosophical endeavor is the learn how to be more like a lion and less like a rabbit. I want my content to come out as a roar which a lot of people hear. Why wouldn't I want to be heard as a writer and philosopher as well? What writer doesn't like to be heard when he or she writes online? Effectively being heard is the mystery that I face! Sure, I could mirror people and talk, but what I am saying is superficial at best... I talk about things which are important to other people yet where I struggle is in telling them about things which are important to me. Day to day pleasantries are areas where I roar. Talking about stuff which most people can’t understand is where I am as a rabbit trying to say stuff. I want to learn to yell my inner truth , without actually need to yell at anyone! Know what I mean? That is where this article comes into play. It is an avenue which I can use to eject content to but in a way that it only ends up being to the people who want to hear it. Why would I want to force anyone to read what I write? What am I, an evil villain? NO! This article allows me to remain like a rabbit and say things softly.... Softly say my wisdom for the people of the world to enjoy without seeing me as a weirdly-aggressive bad guy. I mean, understanding HAS to come from other people. This is why other people should want to hear what I say! What brought about this soft-rabbit analogy is the fact that to most people I am speaking in a different language. Not that I am not using English but rather it is a matter of understanding. My understanding is different, and I understand people more than they think. They just... don't understand me, and don't realize I understand them, more than they understand me. My curiosity has gotten the better of me one more time.... A Coffee Shot Reflection of the Rabbit Utilizing human intelligence as a scale, I wonder where the rabbit falls as far as animal intelligence. I could dive into talking about animal intelligence but I’ll resist that urge. Resisting urges is the Jedi way, after all, and Jedi are good people. And me too, in the world beyond the mind. So, my point remains the same. Rabbits aren’t loud animals so... how do they get heard? I didn’t wake up this morning with any idea that I would be writing about rabbits but here we are. Yeah, my genius belongs to the sorcerer faction, not the wizard faction. Sorcerers are weirdly "mad", wizards are highly technical and pragmatic , rather than creative as I or others on Philosocom. The only point about them that I want to make is that rabbit communication must be softly spoken so in a world that is as loud as it is how are they heard? To this I say, that people should inspire to be more like the rabbit and only speak as loud as you need to in order to be heard. Yes, we need to learn from rabbits, if you ask me. "Mad", I know. So how is a rabbit heard when it’s voice is so small? Polymathy takes hold again and makes me curious what the hubris of a rabbit is.... The Stroke of Surprise! How is it possible that the words I say are coming from me? Me, a man considered "disabled" and "autistic" and whatever other "label" you may put on me? You see, Higher intelligence is so rare, what are the chances you inherited that genetic predisposition? They are as slim as they are in many other geniuses and prodigies! I spent my life trying to be like everyone else when I should have been spending the time learning how to best be myself . That was my personal sin, and you might find this somehow offensive, despite you not understanding my uniqueness. I’ll say something now a days and instantly go “What right do I have to be saying that” which is where the cognitive dissonance comes into play... Spend over 30 years thinking your an orange and discover your really an apple. How awkward, I know. What right do I have to be an apple when the fact of the matter is that I spent my life trying to be an orange? The Path to Precise Loudness The idea is, you can say everything you want to but does it mean people are going to hear it? Of course not. Only the loudest are heard. We live in a loud world so what is the best way to be heard? Shouting aside, how does one speak in a way that people will want to hear? I am having a realization on how to express intelligence..... I do so by simply talking about stuff with no intent other than getting stuff off of my mind. Maybe that would work? I arrive at a hypersensitivity occurring within my hippocampus.... Creativity and imagination. so think about my content less as right or wrong and simply a matter of where my polymathy takes me. Curiosity is important because it is a core of us being human.... We are designed to be as aware as possible. Curiosity is an extension of that awareness seeking. That awareness gives us the functionality of understanding, and understanding allows us to navigate reality. Conclusions So, my conclusion is this: Work endlessly on your own content and have it prepared to be presented in the best light possible.... Although, either way, even the best light will make people focus on the fact I am weird, and will deny my own genius as a result... My ambivert nature means I can go both more or less introverted and extroverted whatever my needs are. That's how I know we are an extension of awareness... Just because you know something doesn’t mean you need to share it right away with other people. That's the value of timing bias after all. My point is this: Work on your content and what you know so that when the time is right you can present it as well as possible. Be ruthless and unrelenting in this attempt! Be like the rabbit and speak gently but also be like a lion when the time is right and roar. Think of your wisdom, analyze it, and work on expanding it and its presentation. And then, when the time is right you present some quality content! It's much like a public speaker practices their speech so that on game day they will present it really well. All your content should be like that public speech! That public speech made on that one sports event, should be your role model to aspire to when making content and when communicating in general! Keep it close to the chest until the time is right. What sound does a rabbit make? He makes a sounds only when he needs to. And when he does, he does it so good, then he returns back to his hole. And that's that.
- Causality Of Reality -- The Rise Of An Acquired Savant (By Mr.
To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Nathan Lasher's Articles) (Background music) I have a very eccentric reality in which I live. I have uncovered some life truths which I desire to pass onto people. I am not telling you this as some sort of cult fanatic . I simply want to share my insights into what a few things are. Content generation aside , I simply want to share my fringe thoughts with the world and let them decide if they qualify as intellect or a state of grandiosity. As I am bi-polar it is only fair to reveal that distinct possibility exists. Nothing I say is a matter of bi-polar as I have experienced the causality of my understanding . At first, discovering such things ended up triggering the worst episode of mania I have ever had. I am cyclothymic so I was experiencing a full hypomanic episode for the first time. It is that experience I want to share with the world in hopes it can lead to some good as a result. At the least I hope it makes for an interesting read. This tale begins and ends with acquired savant syndrome . An accident which made me a sudden savant. But first I needed to overcome some traumatic brain injury I had succumbed to. What that experience has revealed is the knowledge I hope that will be gained. What if there is a way to make every person a savant? I am no doctor, so the most I can offer is some fringe insights on a few things. I could care less if they mean anything or not. I only hope that it might help. So what could I do which would earn me a place in the place of existing acquired savants? What if I can explain what it is and a theoretical idea on how to give others such abilities? First off, I will explain what savant syndrome really is. Why is it that children use their intelligence in a way that most adults do not? Imagination as far as shaping the reality around yourself is a powerful expression of our intelligence. Why as adults do we not use the cognitive features responsible for this? Savant syndrome is this part of the brain suddenly becoming stimulated again, leading to bursts of creativity. Furthermore, I suffered a stroke alongside the traumatic brain injury. For whatever reason this led to me having my senses go into hypersensitive mode. Meaning, I am fully aware of my entire body. Due to this fact I was fully aware of overcoming my brain injury. It was the weirdest feeling in the world. I’ll premise. Think about a spot on your forehead and just using your focus try to push on that spot as hard as you can from inside your own head. Your face should feel like it is squishing together. But more than that, you should feel like something inside your head is moving. What if I told you this was the conscious mind? Focus is the thing which physically makes it move. It is your intelligence and the very essence of who you are. The soul explained . This is what I felt moving inside my mind when I finally overcame my previous injuries. It felt like that thing was being squeezed out of a cake icing bag out into a giant area. I had actually felt what the soul was and blew past simply desiring to deal with any theological issue. Does understanding this change your religious beliefs? I’m not saying who is right and who is wrong. I’m saying you're all a bit right and can hopefully add to a greater overall faith. Does understanding what the soul is really change your belief about what happens to it when we die? That part is an interesting aspect. The soul as eccentrically explained: “I am going to steal your soul” could also be said as I am going to steal your focus. Whatever is on your mind is what is on your soul as they are one and the same thing. It is your essence or the thing which makes you you. If you want a further explanation on what intelligence really is, think about it as when you learn something. You no longer need to consciously access your knowledge on it. Intelligence is abstract cognitive features. It is the subconscious network running through our bodies. You know those questions which you automatically know the answer to. That is your intelligence which is letting you quickly access everything you know on something. IQ is a good measure for logic based intelligence. However, some of us have intelligence that is so far from logical. In fact I might say it is more logical than most people. Or maybe, the bi-polar has me in a state of grandiose delusion. Again, the reason I share this knowledge like this is because I want nothing to do with how it is used. My intelligence has an expression of the experiential. Also known as creative experiences, what it means is I learn through every experience I go through and use that knowledge, automatically, towards any new problems I might encounter. To this day, I have yet to find something that has actually been a problem for me. I don’t see bi-polar, autism , or adhd as a problem because I fully understand them all. I will tackle each one one at a time. The adhd aspect of my genetics is honestly a curse and a blessing. When I was younger, my focus used to jump around a lot, to the point that I began to see how things were related to each other. My focus like this the resulted in natural polymathy. A basic example is I could be doing something like golfing and any given thing can make me think about something random. Great, except when you need to stay focused. I will say adderall is a blessing for those who need it. So what adhd has taught me is, why not do a more customized education? At a younger, 14/15 year old age, a student should determine what they want to do with their lives. Then, make all their class work in every subject revolve around their focus. Think about it this way: instead of general history, why not teach kids history surrounding the thing they want to be? Don’t make students stick to the same thing their classmates stick to. Let them customize their education to increase their human capital. All math would have to do with whatever it is you are focused on. By letting students switch, t hey get to see things from a different perspective. This Would lead to more polymathy in the verb sense . The noun sense is a little more rare than that. I don’t automatically need to study any particular thing to see how two things correlate. To let you know what the "noun sense" is like, I will cover it with this simple concept. I do not see problems because I can see how to do anything with any particular thing. It's true that, where there is a will there's a way. I don’t see problems and can pick anything up pretty easily. So, the younger me used to jump around hobbies a lot. I was very good at experiencing things and somehow remained safe the entire time I was doing it. I have my own beliefs and they include a belief in a higher power . Someone has been looking out for me my entire life. Theology aside, I’m glad my ADHD was never treated when I was younger. It allowed me to see things from many perspectives at the same time. How my intelligence was missed is beyond me. Not in a pseudo intellectual kind of way, but how does one miss a child's creative intelligence? What I am saying is you can nurture the intelligence that you have. Start by starting to use your imagination more. This is using your intelligence in it’s raw capacity. So, why should we nurture this side of our intelligence? I believe that the cognitive feature for creativity and imagination, is what gets one super simulated, resulting in hypersensitivity and savant like abilities . I will also add that it is a humbling experience. To discover yourself on the brink of something great. I don’t really like the public spotlight, yet I feel compelled to exist in it. I have actually felt the place where mania is coming from. It isn’t anything in your mind. I mask mania by controlling my heart rate and breathing. When I do this I feel the mania, like a warm ball of energy within me, return to my heart. What this means is beyond me. If I could offer advice to anyone else who is bi-polar it would be this: Next time you notice your heart rate increase, take a minute to calm your breathing down. Higher intellects have different anatomy in their brains. It might result in a few psychological issues. I am somewhat convinced, 0 research conducted, that geniuses have mania with none of the bad parts. Their brains simply work faster than most people’s. I’m hoping the savants might help cure bi-polar disorder. That isn’t all though, we enter some mild autism . Primarily seen as social developmental delays originally, but I was so smart it went unnoticed . After my accident and recovery my delays are all gone and I have no social issues. So, my eccentric thoughts on the matter are this: If autism is the result of neurological issues and autism as well as brain formation are hereditary , then couldn’t we use siblings to see which neurological pathways weren’t developed properly, and figure out a way to stimulate that part of the brain to jump-start it , so to speak? The moral of the story is that I hope this gets out there and some other sudden savants might feel like reaching out. 1 in a million people are sudden savants so it is rare. But that still makes our numbers over 7000. I feel like we should connect. If you're reading this and have been through it you know exactly how weird of an experience it is. I am tired of trying to explain it to people who will never understand, despite my best efforts. What I want is the entire world to focus at the same time on trying to fix real problems. All it takes is the appropriate actions to be taken . I see the world way differently than most, so I hope through my contributions my experiences might mean something. If you think I am a crackpot I hope I gave you an entertaining read to say the least.

Awareness itself is an energy emitted by the conscious mind, or soul , enabling it to perceive all cognitive functions and bodily sensations, extending our awareness beyond the confines of the human body and matrix. If we were to measure and quantify the soul, we would discover an inexhaustible source of energy . The soul's life cycle mirrors that of a star, with a finite lifespan before it fades, marking the end of our physical existence. Just as a star radiates energy, so too does the soul, projecting an energy that serves as its hands, allowing it to perceive and control what lies within our bodies. Character and personality are additional attributes of the soul, reflecting our inner selves and defining who we are. My personal experiences with brain injuries have provided me with a unique perspective on the mind and its connection to the soul. Despite the mental challenges I faced, I have witnessed my brain's remarkable ability to recover from damage and adapt to new circumstances. Through my journey, I have gained a deep understanding of memory and its relationship to the soul. Memory is the soul's capacity to access data stored within our organic hard drive. It depends on both the strength of data retention and the mind's ability to retrieve it on demand. Personality, like memory, is rooted in the mind's innate features and serves as a reflection of its functioning. Another aspect of the soul's spectrum of attributes is the way in which the mind operates. For example, I have been blessed with experiential intelligence, which is not a type of intelligence but rather my mind's cognitive style. This involves learning from experiences and applying those lessons to solve new problems. Experiential intelligence is a characteristic of the soul, representing a practical, hands-on approach to learning rather than a theoretical one. Delving deeper, we discover that experiencing new things is a vital skill, as it can reveal unexpected ways to improve other areas of our lives. The purpose of life is to expand our own existence by leaving a lasting impact on the cognitive realities of others. By performing acts of kindness, we become a part of their reality as a positive force. Our actions determine how we are perceived by others, shaping our reputation and influence. Much like people collect material objects at their houses, you can think of your cognitive reality as your very own home workshop, where you have control over adding more "possessions" to it. You can clutter and declutter your mind like you can do with an actual physical space , for instance. Another essential aspect of the soul is the importance of adding skills to it, as they are the currency of experiences. You learn a skill by teaching your soul how to do more things. Experiences, and their recognition , allow you to solidify your expertise both in your and others' eyes, increasing your ability to gain both the connection and favor of other souls as well. You could use your soul's skills not only to help yourself but also help others as well. Intelligence is an attribute because it's not about what you know but rather what you can do with that knowledge. Intelligence is like using crayons. Knowing the different colors doesn't make art. Your intelligence lies in understanding what the colors are and using that knowledge to draw a picture. Similarly, the soul is about understanding and knowing how to shape reality according to your desires. Drawing a picture is you utilizing your knowledge to create something new. Creationism isn't solely a matter of theology. We were created in a very specific image, and that is the fact that our souls are energies of God. Therefore, it makes sense that we would operate similarly to Him. God's cognitive reality is the universe, with humans living within it. You can imagine what it would be like to be God by observing how you handle your own reality and add to it. If anything, the purpose of life is to add as much quality material to your own reality and help others grow their own realities. Helping others allow others to help yourself as well, allowing us to realize how interconnected we all are. You do this by performing actions for others, allowing their own realities to grow in a better way. Doing a nice deed not only adds more good to your own reality but also to anyone who witnesses that deed occurring. It's crucial to have not only a positive self-image but also a good image for others to see. Think about it this way: If someone witnesses you doing a nice thing, doesn't that add more good to their own reality? It helps restore faith in humanity amidst all the negativity in the world. We heal the world one reality at a time. If 100 people see you do a good deed, doesn't that mean your good deed is an example of good that spans 100 people's realities? We are all the same in that we should primarily focus on making our own realities as good as possible. Working on yourself is important because it will only increase the quality of person you present to others. Learning new things and skills is crucial because it provides you with as much raw material as you want to use to shape your own and others' realities. Do all your actions reflect who you are as a person? Do you see the world through the lens that could help your improvement? Returning to intelligence as an attribute of the soul: The soul is like the battery for our bodies. It makes sense that intelligence is an attribute of it because intelligence is the very thing keeping you alive. The subconscious mind is responsible for tasks like telling your body parts what to do in order to survive. Then, it makes more sense that this is actually your intelligence doing this by reading your genetic code and signing your body what to do. If you ever feel alone, take time to figure out what actions you want to do to become an asset to others' realities. For instance, you can learn a skill and start a business focused on improving others' realities through a particular service or good. The secret to business lies in the fact that you provide a particular experience for someone to increase the quality of their reality. Remember that we are all meant to grow our own and others' realities as much as possible while we are alive. We are a continuous species due to the importance of theology in our lives. We want to know what happens next, which is a reasonable desire. If experiencing life is about growing the soul as much as possible, and cognitive realities are merely how the soul sees the world, then helping others do the same is essential. We can mutually help each other to grow based on the shared interest of growth itself. By adding more quantity and quality to realities, we actually make the world a better place . Please develop the habit of asking yourself: Is your cognitive reality interacting with other realities in the best possible way?
- "Dear God" -- Commentary On How To Utilize Divine Guidance (By Mr. Nathan Lasher)

He has done an amazing thing by giving us our lives. This also is not meant to discredit anyone’s religion. My only hope is that in reading this it might help strengthen your own respective faiths. Part Zero: Introduction Many people approach prayer as a personal, often solitary , act. Where people mistake is thinking in doing so that something magical such as winning the lottery will occur. Even God only gives to those who truly deserve it and in a way which will actually involve you taking action for the prayer response to be realized. I firmly believe prayers are answered in opportunities which require you to act. This is the purpose of this article: Stating what I am asking God for to see which opportunities He presents me with. You too can learn from this article based on the insights I present to you, so it's not just me talking about my own ego. This article outlines my personal belief in the soul's connection to God, the potential for harnessing divine energy, and my specific requests for guidance and assistance. What I believe in I believe that true divine guidance often manifests in the form of opportunities that require our active participation in order to come into fruition. Prayer isn't merely a wish list. Rather, it is a metaphysical dialogue with the divine, a partnership where we must actively participate, otherwise it won't work. I believe that prayers are answered through opportunities, and it's up to us to recognize and seize them as we see fit. Part I: The Soul and Divine Energy I firmly believe that the soul is a metaphysical entity within our minds , a part of God's energy that gives us life. It is the soul that, through the subconscious , directs our bodies and minds. This divine intervention is evident in the complexities of life and humanity's existence. Our intelligence, the ability to understand and learn , can be seen as a direct product of the soul. Jesus was the humanitarian act of the purest form of love. A human giving up their life for all of humanity. His energies can be seen as more of Godly, AKA, divine, than that of many people. We can learn from this, probably, that each and every of us are interconnected to the divine, but in our own respective ways, some more than others, but the soul still being part of divine energy nonetheless. On Good, Evil, and the Afterlife I believe that the nature of our souls, good or evil, determines our destination after death. A life of good deeds attracts us to the source of that goodness, while negative actions lead us elsewhere. The nature of our souls is influenced by our thoughts and actions . Those who focus on goodness and positivity will be drawn to a similar energy after death, while those who dwell on negativity will be attracted to a different force. In essence, we all carry a piece of God within us, and our choices determine where that piece will ultimately reside. Part II: Harnessing Divine Energy and Opportunities In a way, we all have a little slice of God within us all. That little slice will go towards whatever energy is on your mind. Either way, you vibrate energy, that may alter based on the ways you think and behave. Negative energy from doing horrible deeds will attract you towards the energy opposite of God’s. If you want to end up in the right place, all you have to do is devote your life towards getting other people to want to save themselves from the evil that resides in humanity , and thus, in themselves as well. I believe that we can harness the divine energy within us to create "miracles" in our lives. These miracles often manifest as opportunities that present themselves to us. Free will allows us to accept or reject these opportunities. Hence, for the sake of not missing the help God is sending you, try to always be open-minded about doing every possibility. PART III: Embracing My Divine Purpose To demonstrate this principle , I will share my own prayer requests and the divine opportunities that have arisen in response. I am blessed with my neurological condition, bipolar disorder, which has both challenges and advantages. I seek God's guidance in using my experiences to help others and in managing the emotional intensity that comes with my condition. My Personal Journey I embark on this journey with gratitude for the life God has bestowed upon me. By sharing my intentions with the divine, I hope to attract opportunities that align with my wishes for a better world. My bipolar genetics, characterized by hyperthymia and occasional unipolar mania , are a unique gift. I aim to leverage these experiences to help others who may be facing similar challenges. I seek divine guidance in managing the intensity of my emotions, enabling me to sustain myself more effectively. The beginning of any project I pursue is quite the thrilling time. By my understanding of things I simply seize the opportunities I am given by the divine. God, please reveal the way I am meant to utilize my intelligence. Given my remarkable intellectual abilities, I believe my purpose is to contribute to a deeper understanding of humanity. It is personally why I enjoy writing for Philosocom. My Pleas to God Divine Guidance and Wisdom: Grant me understanding and wisdom to utilize my intelligence effectively. Positive Impact: Help me create a more just and and less-unfair world. Strength of Convictions: Strengthen my resolve to uphold my beliefs. Intelligence for Good: Guide me to use my intelligence solely for good. I wish to avoid using it for my own or merely for someone else's personal gain. World Preparation: Prepare the world to receive the knowledge that can bring about positive change. Limited Worldview: Inspire people to recognize the limitations of past worldviews, and open their minds to innovative perspectives on reality. Value of Intelligence: Encourage others to use their intelligence to its fullest potential. Divine Energy: Help me tap into the divine energy within me and harness it for the greater good. Transcending the Curent Human Condition: Inspire people to strive for a better future and recognize the power of God within them. Conclusion Through prayer and action, I believe that we can tap into the divine energy within us and experience remarkable transformations. By seeking God's guidance and remaining open to the opportunities He presents, we can live more fulfilling lives. By sharing these requests publicly, I hope to invite divine opportunities into my life and to yours as well. I believe that through faith, action, and an open mind, I can fulfill my purpose and make a positive impact on the world. I believe you can do this too. I believe that through faith, action, and a deep connection with the divine, we can all improve this world, together. Inquiry: A Food for thought As I strive to contribute to a deeper understanding of humanity, I wonder: Who do you turn to for guidance in your own journey? Is it a higher power, a mentor/master, or perhaps a combination of both? Who helps you to see the change you want to see in this world?

- Twin Peaks -- A Philosophical Article On Quantum Reality (By Ms. Angie Hincks) -- Part 3

The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Start of Ms. Angie Hincks Article Series) Introduction: In the realm of quantum physics, where the unobservable mysteries of the universe unfold, we encounter phenomena that transcend the conventional boundaries of space and time. These phenomena, such as wave functions and quantum entanglement, offer us a lens through which we can explore the nature of reality itself. Curiously, these concepts resonate deeply with ancient metaphysical ideas, including those hinted at in biblical texts. The idea that our consciousness, both conscious and subconscious, engages in an eternal cosmic dance with unseen forces—whether through dreams, light waves, or quantum particles—invites us to reconsider the very fabric of existence. In this exploration, we embark on a journey through the dream worlds, quantum entanglement, and the nature of consciousness , drawing connections between cutting-edge science and timeless wisdom. The Dream Worlds and Wave Offerings: A Symphonic Reality In quantum physics, reality is not as fixed as we might think. At its most fundamental level, reality behaves as a wave—an oscillating force that exists in a state of potentiality. Waves are ubiquitous in the universe: sound waves, light waves, and even radio waves, all of which propagate through space and time. These waves are not mere undulations in the air; they represent the transmission of energy, information, and potentiality. From the vibrations of air molecules producing sound to the quantum fluctuations that permeate the vacuum of space, waves are the medium through which the universe communicates with itself. The concept of "wave offerings" in this context becomes an intriguing metaphor for the communication between the observer and the universe. Waves, whether they are sound waves, electromagnetic waves, or quantum waves, are continuously reaching out, offering themselves to be observed, to be understood, to be engaged with. These offerings, like the undulating dance of the cosmos, wait for a participant—an observer—to collapse them into a definite form. In this sense, waves represent the potential for communication between the conscious and subconscious, between the self and the universe. Much like the artist who waits for the gaze of their beloved, the universe too waits for our attention. When we focus our perception in a particular direction—whether through the conscious mind or the subconscious—it is as though we are directing the flow of these waves, collapsing them into particles of reality. This process is akin to the quantum phenomenon known as "wave function collapse," where the infinite possibilities of the wave are reduced to a single, concrete reality upon observation. In quantum physics, this collapse is triggered by the observer's focus, a theme that echoes deeply within the framework of dream states. Just as the observer's attention shapes the wave into a particle , so too does the dreamer’s consciousness shape the dream world . The dream world, much like a quantum wave, exists in a state of indeterminate possibility until it is observed and thus materialized into a specific form. The subconscious mind acts as the director of these dreams, guiding the ebb and flow of potentialities into a singular reality. The Photon: Light and Consciousness in the Dream Worlds In the quantum realm, photons represent the fundamental particles of light. These tiny packets of energy behave both as waves and particles, embodying the duality that lies at the heart of quantum mechanics. Just as light can refract through space and time, so too can consciousness refract through the myriad dimensions of existence. When a photon enters our field of perception, it generates a cascade of tiny particles, interacting with the pineal gland and sparking our sensory experience. This process is akin to the phenomenon of immersive dreams, where the dreamer’s consciousness becomes entangled with the dream world. Consider the analogy of being inside a surround sound movie screen, where the boundaries between the self and the external world blur. In ordinary dreams, our attention is inward, exploring the depths of the subconscious. But in more immersive dreams, a subtle inversion occurs—the screen of perception appears to shift outward, even though it remains, at its core, an internal experience. This is where the concept of "switching perspectives" becomes relevant: the observer may find themselves inhabiting the consciousness of their subconscious twin. In these immersive dreams, it is as if the boundaries between self and other, conscious and subconscious , collapse. The Interconnection between Life, Death, and Consciousness In his analysis of the nature of sleep and death, Bill Donahue introduces a fascinating perspective on the continuity of consciousness. He compares the states of sleep and death, both of which involve a disconnection of the brain from the external world. During deep sleep, the brain’s higher regions disconnect, resulting in a loss of consciousness as we know it. Yet, paradoxically, during this period of unconsciousness , we continue to dream, make decisions, and experience vivid sensations. Donahue suggests that this disconnection does not equate to the cessation of consciousness. Instead, he proposes that consciousness moves into parallel worlds or dreamscapes when the brain disconnects. In other words, when the brain shuts down during sleep or death, consciousness persists in alternate dimensions, continuing its journey through different realities. This idea challenges our conventional understanding of life and death, suggesting that both are simply transitions between states of consciousness. The key distinction, according to Donahue, lies in the reconnection of the brain. When a person wakes from sleep, their brain reconnects to the waking reality, and their experience is "snapped back" into the present. However, when a person dies, the brain does not reconnect, and their consciousness continues its journey in another dimension . This idea is analogous to the collapse of the wave function in quantum physics, where the observer's focus determines which possibility comes into existence. Quantum Entanglement: The Cosmic Web of Interconnectedness One of the most profound concepts in quantum physics is that of quantum entanglement. When two particles become entangled, they remain connected across space and time, so that the state of one particle is immediately correlated with the state of the other, regardless of the distance between them. Einstein famously referred to this phenomenon as "spooky action at a distance," highlighting the inexplicable nature of these instantaneous connections. Entanglement is not limited to the subatomic world; it also provides a compelling framework for understanding the interconnectedness of all things. Our atomic counterparts, entangled across different dimensions, form a cosmic web that transcends the limitations of space and time . Every action we take, every decision we make, reverberates across this web, affecting not only our own reality but also the realities of alternate versions of ourselves. Our atoms are not confined to a single reality; they exist simultaneously in multiple dimensions, each one a reflection of different choices and experiences. The interconnectedness of our atoms across dimensions suggests that we are not isolated beings, but rather, part of a vast and intricate network of existence. As we engage with the world around us, we are not simply interacting with the present moment; we are also affecting and being affected by countless versions of ourselves, existing in parallel worlds. This idea has profound implications for our understanding of time, fate, and free will . The entanglement of our atoms implies that our actions are not limited to the present moment; they ripple backward and forward through time, influencing not only our past but also our future. This is known as retro causality—the idea that the future can affect the past, creating a feedback loop that shapes our experience of reality. The Subconscious, Immersive Dreaming and Healing Across Dimensions As we delve deeper into the nature of consciousness, we begin to realize that the boundaries between the conscious and subconscious mind are not as rigid as we once believed. In the realm of immersive dreaming, where the conscious and subconscious merge, we can experience a profound sense of interconnectedness with our twin selves across dimensions. This merging of the conscious and subconscious creates a feedback loop of information, healing, and growth that transcends the limits of time and space. In this context, dreams are not merely random firings of neurons; they are symbolic communications between the conscious and subconscious minds. As we engage with the symbolic language of our dreams, we are not only gaining insights into our own psyche, but we are also participating in a cosmic exchange of information. The waves of communication between the conscious and subconscious minds are reciprocal: what we send out in our waking reality is received and processed by our subconscious, and vice versa. This dynamic interplay between the conscious and subconscious is akin to the healing process that takes place when we address our wounds and traumas. As we heal in our waking reality, we also heal our subconscious counterparts in parallel dimensions, creating a ripple effect that alters the possibilities of both past and future. This process of healing is not limited to the individual; it extends to the collective, as we are all interconnected through the entanglement of our atoms. The Cosmic Exchange: A Two-Way Street of Knowledge and Transformation As we move through the dream worlds, exploring the mysteries of quantum entanglement and consciousness, we realize that our journey is not one-sided. Just as we seek to understand our subconscious twin, so too does our subconscious seek to understand us. This cosmic exchange of information is not limited to the realms of science or religion; it is a fundamental aspect of the human experience. Whether we label it God , aliens, or any other term, the communication between our conscious and subconscious selves is a continual process of learning, healing, and transformation. In this vast and interconnected universe, we are both the emitter and the absorber of waves. As we navigate the dream worlds, quantum entanglement, and the depths of our own consciousness, we are not passive observers; we are active participants in the cosmic dance of existence. The waves of communication that we send out are received by our subconscious counterparts, who in turn offer their insights, guidance, and healing in return. In the end, the boundaries between the self and the universe, the conscious and the subconscious, the waking and the dream worlds, are not as rigid as we once believed. We are all part of a vast and interconnected web of existence, where the dance of wave offerings and quantum entanglement shapes our reality. As we explore the mysteries of consciousness, we are not merely uncovering the secrets of the universe; we are participating in a cosmic exchange that transforms us, heals us, and connects us to the infinite possibilities of existence. In the words of Bill Donahue: "You're not going to sleep, you're going out." As we journey through the realms of consciousness, we are not merely retreating into the unknown; we are venturing out into the vast expanse of existence, where the possibilities are endless and the waves of communication never cease.
- Twin Peaks -- A Philosophical Article On Quantum Reality (By Ms. Angie Hincks) -- Part 1
(Disclaimer: The guest posts do not necessarily align with Philosocom's manager, Mr. Tomasio Rubinshtein's beliefs, thoughts, or feelings. The point of guest posts is to allow a wide range of narratives from a wide range of people. To apply for a guest post of your own, please send your request to mrtomasio@philosocom.com ) (Part 2) (Part 3) (Background music) Twin Peaks -- A Philosophical Article On Quantum Reality -- Part I I've been taking timeout for a bit for myself as I think my brain imploded with all the white noise out there. My direct experience, and interests lie in only what I myself observe in dreamscapes, light and its manipulation, immersive theatre/simulacra , etymology, allegory, storytelling, drama, poetry , the subconscious mind , and various related quantum realms... Quantum fields have been catching up on my writing. So I wanted to share my thoughts and interpretation of your "twin" within these quantum fields: Where two are in the field and one is taken away and essentially what it really implies. The Quantum realm that is perpetually in a wave state is full of atoms, protons, and electrons that self-replicate and mutate ( a tetrahedron that fractalizes meaning as a self repeating pattern ). It is the SUB-atomic realm which is the SUB-conscious realm. Subatomic twins represent your counterparts (conscious and subconscious) in waveform on the other side of the looking glass or the spider’s web -- the transparent veil in the area in your brain called the arachnoid , which is the door that takes you into many many unseen worlds within dreamscapes or realms. Essentially they are other dimensions of yourself communicating through non-verbal cues embedded in narratives within all types of dreamscapes including this one. In this context, non-verbal cues refer to what is left unspoken/unsaid or what I prefer to call the "EXformation" , what every Tom, Dick and Harry are NOT talking about. This two way communication occurs both in the nocturnal AND in the immersive diurnal (daytime) dreamscapes during the immersive experiences of daily life. Your twins influence you by “waving” at you or giving you a nod so as to speak, through all sorts of characters in various forms, such as characters you meet in news stories, movie plots, personal interactions with family, friends, and neighbors, the virtual characters you meet along the way on social media platforms, the characters down rabbit holes , as well as all the characters you meet in novels, literature, scripture, and theatrical performances. This storytelling aspect is a crucial and necessary part of our being or existence. That is because fundamentally at our core, we are beams of light that split off into atoms and photons and are influenced and connected by information and stories , in a perpetual state of dreaming. Cryptophasia describes a special linguistic phenomenon observed in twins , be they identical or brotherly, where a language is formed exclusively for their mutual understanding and can oftentimes be unintelligible to others . The term originates from the Greek words crypto -- indicating a secret vault or hub, and -- phasia, meaning speech. Essentially this points to the conscious mind and the subconscious mind (what we know to be the awake mind and the dreaming mind respectively). Non-spoken language originates from the brain's left angular gyrus, primarily linked with language functions and semantic processing —understanding the meaning of words and sentences as well as reading. The term "gyrus" is derived from the Greek word " gyros ," denoting a ring, circle or circuit found in between brain grooves related to sound (surround sound). It also forms the word gyroscope in which scope comes from the Greek words " skopos " meaning watcher and " skopien " meaning to consider. Also from PIE root "spek" meaning observe. A gyroscope (in the shape of a tetrahydron) measures and maintains orientation and angular rotation. It is free to move in any orientation by itself without moving its spin axis direction. It is unaffected by any tilt. It is found in all types of navigational devices to help give the device/body balance and stability. So, I would say that just as a gyroscope helps stabilise physical objects, the angular gyrus can be metaphorically viewed as contributing to cognitive stability and spatial awareness in the brain's processing of information. Efficient utilisation of non-spoken language, such as in sign language, gestures, reading and interpreting non-verbal cues from your baby or pet, or reading and interpreting the symbolism and meaning behind words and narratives, " triggers" the RIGHT angular gyrus—shaped like a pyramid and sends non verbal messages out to the universe. When the left angular gyrus is NOT effectively utilised, and there is a tendency to take words and stories literally rather than interpreting symbolic or unspoken language, it can impact the activation and function of the right angular gyrus . It misinterpret intended meanings and context that contributes to “making sense” of the human being’s overall experience and environment and in effect throws the gyru's off balance. In the context of immersive simulation or immersive dreaming , the right angular gyrus plays a crucial role in shaping the overall experience. This region is associated with visuospatial processing, recognising shapes, attention, and aspects of self-awareness, all of which contribute to the PERCEPTION of the simulated environment . Visuospatial processing contributes to how humans perceive and navigate the virtual space, recognise objects and their positions, and help them understand the layout of the simulated environment. Self-awareness influences how humans perceive their virtual presence and interact with the immersive dream or simulated world. This includes the awareness of THEIR true position (like the spin axis of a gyroscope, it never moves) in relation to external movements, and actions within the immersive environment, and indeed the awareness that they are actually in a virtual space (visuospace) in the first place. Recognising shapes and PATTERNS is also very important as this aspect influences how we identify and interpret objects, structures, or elements presented in the virtual world.
- How I Deal With the Loneliness Epidemic
(Background music) I have chosen a most difficult life -- a life spent largely alone. While most people are social animals, I force myself to be a solitary creature. I force myself to change my nature from social to solitary to prepare for the isolation period I have envisioned in my non-published books. We are on the verge of an age of solitude. An age where people are becoming more and more isolated because of technology. Technology and AI isolates us, and many bars, pubs and restaurants are closing down because people spend more time alone, ordering through delivery instead of hanging out in these establishments. Back in my teen years I had already deduced this, and ever since the 2000's, when I realized life is going to be more dystopian in the future, I mentally prepared myself for being more alone. I already deduced life is going to be different in the 2020's, so I did what I could before-hand to be alone, secure myself a love connection, and work myself towards strength in isolation. Today, I am a one-woman man, and I will do whatever I can to keep enduring the age of solitude I have deduced is going to come back in my teenage years. I am not surprised that people are becoming more solitary. I was simply ahead of the curve all my life, preparing myself for an age of solitude by myself. Don't make any mistakes -- it is challenging to be this alone. This requires a lot of mental fortitude and resilience, to be able to endure so much time alone. As much as it is tempting to go to visit my mother, I rarely do so, choosing instead to endure my life alone. My mother, impressed, told me I am one of strongest people she ever met, and she might be right. I always wanted to be mentally strong, and as such I lead a difficult lifestyle as an adult, one where you always need to be strong to be able to endure the lack of people. And now, that my predictions about solitude in the modern world have proven correct, all I have to do is to keep being strong. And being strong I'll continue being. I just want to always be strong, and defeat adversary by my own power, so I could continue refusing to die by my own hands. Deep inside, I have a death wish, and my immense mental strength is how I endure it without bringing myself any harm whatsoever. Death by one's own hands is immoral, it brings sorrow and suffering to those who care about you. That is why I refuse to die, despite my death wish lurking deep within me. If I can't defeat this wish by my own power, then I will be a weakling. I refuse to be a weakling. I choose instead to march forward, and alone, in a world where humanity is going to be more and more solitary. The age of solitude is otherwise known as the loneliness epidemic . Much has already covered online on this phenomenon already. My solution to this is to be strong and to endure the loneliness, and not escape from it to the company of others. Once we regulate ourselves to be strong, reliance on other people wouldn't be as necessary. I don't suggest rectifying this problem. Instead, I see the loneliness epidemic/the age of solitude as an opportunity for people to grow stronger, as people should if they want to better survive reality. It is not through strength or merit alone that allows us to survive, but above all -- adaptability. And I've been adapting for this life of solitude ever since I was a child, and realized the future is going to be dystopian. This is why solitude for me is easier than most people -- I've been preparing for most of my life for it. Although it is still challenging, I refuse cowering away from it, instead I pressure myself to still be alone, to turn down opportunities for human company, and I've even resorted to sabotage certain connections with people -- all so I could keep enduring the loneliness epidemic by my own power. And despite all of the challenges I already conquered, I still have a life ahead of me to endure and to overcome. And I'm willing to keep on the path of resilience and solitude in this loneliness epidemic. I don't think there is any way out of the loneliness epidemic, because people are used to be more on their phones than with other people, with no intention of changing that. Humanity has changed exactly has I have foreseen. All I am doing is to adapt to it in the best way I can, so I could still survive and stay mentally strong. I refuse to see the loneliness epidemic as a problem to rectify when there is much strength to build from it! This very strength that I'm building in solitude will allow me to press forward in life and keep on writing! Why seeing an opportunity as a problem, is beyond me. And while humans are social creatures, it is only those who adapt who are able to survive out of all. Humans, on top of being social, have to be adaptable. Adaptability is what differs the strong from the weak. And I'm intending to come on top as one of the strongest so I could keep building this empire of articles into a glorious philosophical legacy for years to come! That is what keeps me going on! This is what keeps me strong and not giving up on life! I must resume to relentlessly survive the challenges of a dystopian and isolating world, and overcome adversaries by my own power, all so I could keep building this empire by my own hands, and be a strong man for my woman!

There are two types of living in this world: surviving and living. Most of us dedicate much of our adulthood to working in exchange for the currency that allows us to live another day. And when that day comes, we dedicate it to the next day, and so on. That's what is casually known as "the rat race" . That's the 2 Types of Human Existence. It is not necessarily that we enjoy working so much to survive, but it is the most immediate solution. Even if the pay is not high, it is a worthy endeavor if we do not want to end up on the streets, and if we do not have the means and character to maintain a business. Although working guarantees our existence, it requires us to have less free time for ourselves . Unfortunately, the world is not fair, and not everyone will be wealthy enough to not need to work, and get a chance at contemplating post-purpose. Working is an inevitable part of many of our lives, and it takes up a significant portion of our adult lives. The Privilege of Living However, those who have free time to do more than just rest and consume entertainment have the "privilege" of being able to live the second type of existence: Living, rather than merely making a living possible. Those who live beyond working and rejuvenating can have more time to invest in themselves as people who are more than just the different functions they serve in their work, in their nuclear family, and so on. It's there, when we're alive beyond being a cog in a machine, where we can realize that we exist beyond the confines of society. When you are "alive," you can have the space to dedicate to self-actualization, which is usually a necessity to feel satisfied with one's existence. This is, of course, assuming that one's job does not provide them with the meaningfulness they seek. Therefore, if you want to increase your satisfaction in life and feel more worthy as a human being, you must either find a more satisfying job, or if you cannot, invest some of your free time in self-actualization instead of resting/sleeping, being entertained , and so on. Finding Work That Fulfills You Work is usually done for money, but the harsh truth is that mere material gain, even if imperative, doesn't always satisfy everyone's desire for self-worth and contribution. While some need money more than others, it's not arrogant to want more from your career. When considering a job, ask yourself these crucial questions: Is this all I can expect for my work life? Is there a deeper meaning I seek? Am I content simply working in a job I don't particularly enjoy, or should I broaden my horizons? While some jobs are essential and open to a wide range of people, that doesn't mean anyone should fill those roles. We all have unique skills and ambitions. For instance, before the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020, I took a chance on a basic job tying and cleaning medallions. After just two exhausting hours, I knew it wasn't for me. As a neurodivergent, my brain process stimulation differently. In other words, monotony is extremely tiring for me, while philosophy is experienced as effortless, hence why I wrote so much already. Surprisingly, the employer, even though needing more workers, acknowledged I deserved a better fit. This experience is a major reason why I chose this path – living simply and pursuing my own goals on the path to philosophership , as opposed to becoming a part-time clerk with job security. Let me be clear: I have immense respect for blue-collar and white-collar workers. These jobs are vital, and without them, society wouldn't function. On the contrary I despise the prestige bias which overlooks their basic importance. However, it's important to understand that not everyone prioritizes money solely when seeking work. Some of us crave a career with a deeper purpose, and that's perfectly valid. I mean, using logic and cognitive empathy, philosophers can give people a reason to live and restore faith in being alive. And yes, I saved some people's lives from suffering tendencies during my philosophical career. Not giving names. Moving on! Finding Your Spark: Beyond Survival and the Paycheck We all, as adults, must make a decision sooner or later in regards to what we can do and what we want to do. That decision must ultimately be made if we want to have a sense of clarity to our future and to our development as individuals. I made an unconventional decision, but one that I'm proud of. Even if I live like an ascetic , at least I'm not feeling insignificant in my role. When I experimented with the medallion job, I very well knew that anyone could replace me and do a job just as good. But even if you're good at your job, it doesn't feel very good, for some, to feel expendable. It's not always a sense of ego , but of the worth you're giving in exchange for your work. Some are perfectly content in their line of work and having a few days off a week. But what about those who wish to live beyond surviving and resting? About having bigger plans? Plans... involving greater influence? We might work to survive the next day, but there won't always be another day to live for any of us, once time has run out. This yearning for purpose, for a career that ignites your passion, is a valid pursuit. There is no shame in prioritizing financial security, but there should also be room for personal fulfillment. Choosing a path that allows you to contribute something meaningful, something that feels irreplaceable, is a worthy, ambitious goal. It's about finding your spark, that thing that makes you feel significant and engaged in the world, rather than simply existing from paycheck to paycheck.
- The Rubinshteinic Traditionalist Path of the Craftsman
(Philosocom's Directory on AI) (Philosocom's Directory on Technology) (Philosocom's Directory on Happiness) (Philosocom Directory on Work) (Background music) As AI technology marches forward, it threatens to take away from us not only jobs but also our passions. AI is there as a tool to provide us things we want at our request, but it comes at the cost of taking away traditional paths to get what we want. As such, AI fosters laziness, as all we need to do is to ask for it to create something for us and it creates. If we don't collaborate with AI, all AI does it create it our request, at the cost of the discipline and virtue that comes from genuine human effort. Genuine human effort at things in life breeds virtue. It develops our experience and make us strong. As long as we seek to replace it with AI technology, we will, by proxy, take away our virtue, our strength and our discipline. We live in a morally depraved world, where money dictates what's important and what's not for many people. As a traditionalist I refuse partaking in such a world, and instead I carve my own path -- a more-traditional approach to life. I save money by living in asceticism, and seek to develop discipline and virtue by writing articles and by going on long walks. Over-reliance on technology and purely-AI work take away genuine human effort, required to create unique human craftsmanship. Sticking to tradition comes at the price of not moving on with this world's trends, but it comes at the reward of being loyal to yourself while developing virtue that comes from human work. Human work is not only there for the money. Human work can also be done voluntary, like what I'm doing with Philosocom. The more I work on this site, the more disciplined and virtuous I become as I also get to help others. I am biased towards my own tradition as an article craftsman because I shed away the need for ease in this life. The more I stick to difficulty, the stronger I get. Strength comes not only from going to the gym, but also sticking to traditionalist routes. The people of old, before the days of the industrial revolution, were strong. They were strong because they had to be strong. Their strength allowed them to survive the hard times of the past and manage lives before technology made things a lot more comfortable. While I still use technology, I have a very traditionalist approach to it. I see technology, like this computer, as work tools, rather as strictly forms of entertainment. I don't use my smartphone much, and my presence on social media is heavily limited by my own decision. Whenever I use AI, I mainly focus on artistic pursuits with it, while I add in my own human touch. I use technology like it was in the 2000's, rather than how it is today. I have a website in an age where many websites are gone, and I write manually even though AI can do the work for me. I do not seek material wealth. I am doing this for the passion and for helping others. I am a traditional writer in a world that rapidly changes. Tradition in a rapidly changing world is the only way to resist the changes. In a rapidly changing route you either follow the tyranny of trends to stay relevant, or stick to your own truth and focus on what you want to do, irrespective of the changing times. I choose to stick to my own traditional path of article-crafting and website managing because that is what gives me satisfaction in life. I am not going to let AI take away what makes me satisfied in life. I am not going to let the desires of others dictate what I am going to do in life. Instead, I am going to stick to my own tradition as if the AI revolution hasn't occurred because AI is there not only to give us comfort, but take away our passions. Let's say you want to film a movie. Nowadays AI can make a movie for you. The very notion that gives us comfort, is also there to replace our passions. But the problem with what is, that nothing can take away our passions. Our passions stem from our heart, and by following the path of our hearts, we develop virtue and rectify ourselves from vice. While I criticized always listening to our hearts, I have also found out that following our hearts' desire can make us more content beings. So I do not even cater, instead I follow my tradition of writing what I want. In a rapidly-changing world, to keep up with the times, we might need to compromise our hearts and become heartless, instead doing what others want and not what we want. But being heartless and strictly doing what others want comes at the price of compromising ourselves and our virtue. Here at Philosocom you have a genuine website owner who just wants to contribute in his own way and write whatever he wants for free. By sticking to this tradition, I develop a unique philosophical empire that stands enduring the trends of our rapidly changing world. I write with all my heart because I seek not only to contribute to you but to also be fulfilled myself. In my eyes, serving both you and me is the key to a life worth living. When you focus only on others, and not on yourself, you might get more views, but it comes at the cost of compromising your personal hopes and dreams, doing things you don't like for the sake of survival and/or incentive. The Rubinshteinic Traditionalist Path is all about considering what you want to do irrespective of the world around you. Choosing this path brings you satisfaction at the cost of being more esoteric. This Path is all about following your own truths as a way to transform the world in your own way. The rapidly changing world, according to this approach, can change all it wants, while you can stick to your own traditions as long as you want. The notion that we always have to keep up with the times, is a fallacy and a delusion of necessity. Through following your own traditions, you can be happy in your own way. Your traditions, while creating a certain incompatibility with the rest of the world, at least will make you satisfied. And satisfaction is what I'm looking for by carving my own traditionalist path. I think that a life that is only meant to generate revenue is a hollow one. There must be more meaning, more passion, for a life that is well lived. And in the end the Rubinshteinic Traditionalist Path is all about satisfying oneself in one's own ways in a world that won't do it for you. It is not egocentric when you use your traditions like I do it -- to contribute to the world at large. I am not going to let AI nor popular demands take away my passions. I will never give up on Philosocom because that is what makes me happy and satisfied -- contributing to the world according to my own way -- The way of the article craftsman. And I'm not going to let anything take away my way of living. By living ascetically, I save money, allowing me to survive, and while there is no need to do things regards to survival, I work on the site and work towards contribution. Should we keep up with the times at the sacrifice of our passions? I think doing so will come at the cost of our overall wellbeing, and thus I refuse, for the sake of my wellbeing, to keep up with the times. I think that we are meant to actualize our merits, irrespective of tools that can replace it. Our passions exist within us for a reason, and they don't necessarily exist just for oneself. They exist for others to enjoy from as well. Since keeping up with the times means sacrificing one's passions, I refuse to do so. I instead prefer to be critical of the influences of AI on humanity, because everything that we choose to do comes at a cost. And if to do something, do so under your own terms. That's the only way to be happy. And while I also criticized following our own passions, as long as our passions don't do harm to anyone or to oneself, there is no reason, in my eyes, not to follow our passions. Tradition is best kept and lived with passion for a craft.
