The Rubinshteinic Guide to Faith and Positivity Outside Religion

Updated: May 13

Blonde woman stands in a dimly lit subway, surrounded by passengers. Warm orange and yellow tones create a dramatic, reflective mood.

Faith is the belief that something will turn put according to what is expected. When you have faith in a relationship, for example, you have hope that it will turn out good and will not be torn apart.

Positivity seems to come from faith. Faith for better days, faith for a successful grade after a test is done; there are so many examples as how faith contributes to a positive mindset.

Therefore, the more faithful we become, the more positive we might get.

We can start by being faithful about the little things in life. For example: Hoping that we wake up feeling good. Thus, the more often we improve our sleep quality, and the more we nurture faith in our thoughts about waking up good, the better overall we can feel!

This hack is so easy it can apply to every little thing in life: faith that we will reach our destination when driving or when taking public transportation; faith that we won't suffer from any injury and so forth.

Positivity can easily be extracted from having faith in the little things in life. Often, they are what matter the most!

Comment by Ms. Alex Mos

Can faith influence our future? Having faith is the emotional counterpoint to doubt. It's the conviction that the future will bring the desired outcome, among all probabilities.
Can positive thoughts and well-defined goals help us reach our goals? There is strong evidence that a positive and determined mind leads to success. Every action begins with an idea, an imaginary projection into the future, that envisions change.
We can alter our seemingly fixed destiny when we choose to revise our lives, like learning something new or undertaking a project. With the execution of the choice, we step into a new chapter of the present, and all alternative probabilities disappear from our awareness.
When we unlock a positive path of faith, we enable ourselves to make daring choices toward reaching the goal.
Conversely, when we doubt ourselves because we fear the unknown or need to conform, we immediately enter another present path that sabotages our plans. We slow down, stagnate, and the goal seems further away.
Unfortunately, faith alone doesn't guarantee success. It acts as a catalyst when the intent is rational, reachable, and consistent with our abilities.
If the goal is unreachable and delusional, faith becomes a dangerous catalyst for disillusionment and misjudgment. We can't know with certainty what our future will be because it is hidden in the cloud of possibilities until we choose and walk into the next moment of our lives.
Doing it with faith, rationality, and wisdom accelerates the transformation and improves our chances of success.
Thanks for inspiring this reflection on the power of faith, Mr. Tomasio.
