Success is not built on success. It's built on failure. It's built on frustration.... -- Summer Redstone
They dismissed me as dumb, so I evolved into a genius. Being classified as uneducated, I learned it all! Mistaken for weak, I made myself strong. Classified as insane, I realized I was hyper-sane. Dismissed as reckless, I was carefully precise. Being told I couldn't write, I wrote better than them all. Scoffed at for seriousness, I made the entire world laugh. Being considered the very worst, I became the very best. Mistaken for a fool, I showed the world how foolish it is! -- John Duran

To build something truly remarkable, you need to understand, endure, if not appreciate, frustration.

What is frustration? Frustration is when you feel something isn't right, and you want to make it right. It's when something you really wish for, doesn't go. Sometimes, you want that something to go so much, that you can get blinded with rage, ignoring the things you do have.

Philosocom is built on my frustrations with the non-rectified world, and stems from my desire to rectify it.

If it weren't for my dark frustration, Philosocom would not have been built. If things were right in this world, I wouldn't bother to vent and to philosophize.

What is the practical point of philosophy? The practical point of philosophy is to offer solutions to problems, AKA problem-solving. If something isn't right, then there is a problem.

The positive side of frustration stems from the fact that you have not only vision but passion. It is this very own frustration that fuels you to act; to work; to create.

And indeed, emotions are tools. Emotions are the canvas in which we can create something truly remarkable.

Through frustration, we grow stronger. Through frustration, we develop virtues like patience, like relentlessness, like long-term thinking, and so on and on.

As long as we don't give up, our frustration will grow us, will develop us to new heights, to new horizons. Frustration is a dark emotion that shows how darkness can be used for the greater good.

How much we fail, how much we are defeated, what matters is the fact that we are still on-going and not giving up. The less we give up the more we can develop as humans.

Why do people go to the gym, for instance? Sometimes, one of the reasons is because one is frustrated with how one looks. It is the very own frustration with how one looks, that fuels them to build a stronger, healthier body.

When frustration is fueled towards whining and complaining, it becomes infantile. However, when frustration is fueled towards work, it then becomes a catalyst for something that can be truly great.

How more you want something, how more you will be fueled to find a way to succeed. How more you will want to defeat every creed, every nation, until the very last your vision is actualized and is within your grip.

And only then.... only then you shall know true satisfaction. Only then you shall know true peace.

I have picked an ambition harder than world domination. World rectification is harder than world domination because there will always be something to rectify. World domination, on the other hand, is a goal that can be measured. World rectification, on the other hand, is beyond measure, as the flaw is always... always indefinite.

Thus, per my desire to improve this world through my writings, per my unyielding spirit to prove my relevance, overcome problems, and see adversity as medicine.

I have already written and contributed so much to humanity for free.... I am not going to give up on that.

Ever.

I will always want to rectify the world.

Because rectifying the world is the right thing to do.

Because when I see the lack of empathy people have nowadays, it fuels me to be the one who does have empathy.

When I see online news of war, it fuels me to be more peaceful.

When I see symptoms of alienation and sociopathy in this world, it fuels me to forsake humanity to be the one who does have a heart.

Because to rectify this world, one has to rectify himself.

Under any given situation, I will always want to do the right thing.

I don't have the heartlessness to give up on doing the right thing.

With all my frustrated heart, I want to contribute to people as way to make this world a better place to live.

I want to inspire! I want to intrigue! I want to fuel the very humanity the conventional world takes apart and destroys in the name of financial materialism and superficiality.

So, if you want to avoid defeatism, you need to appreciate the frustration, develop the habit of looking both ways, and see the frustration for the good that it is. For the good that it can bring. For the success that it can yield.

You need to be like Sisyphus, who grows stronger every time he lifts the rock up the mountain.... and you need to imagine him to be happy.

Not sad.

Not miserable.

Not pitiful.

Because sometimes, for something as simple as putting a rock, stable on a mountain.... You need to become the best version of yourself.
