Democracy As a Religion (Poem)

Updated: Aug 28

(Inspired melody)

There's a reason I do the things I do,

It's why no one can stop me, not even you;

By writing whatever, I have on my mind,

And showing it repeatedly to humankind:

It is merely my given right!

Even if depress me, you might!

No matter how much, hate you may feel,

There is a fact that I think you should kneel:

As long as I did not break any rule,

The right for expression, you can't fool!

Why unrelent,

I can't?

No matter how punchable an article may be,

Not even SHE can stop me,

Democracy!

Democracy!

For this, I live for!

To write more!

To write more!

Without it I see no other point!

When these dark thoughts may surround my brain,

And make me question existence, with mental pain,

I remember of such notes, like the one from Tanzania,

The teacher whose class thanked me with mania!

So I publish my writings, one by one!

And I do so not just for fun!

Such privilege, of contributing,

Make life much more endearing!

So no matter how hate you will force upon me,

I can still express myself, not only thee!

Even louder,

I'll shout it!

No one should doubt the freedom in true democracy,

Even if you hate it, continuously!

Democracy!

Democracy!

For this, I live for!

To write more!

To write more!

Without it I see no other point!
